Despite having only my resume and cover letter for reference, when we spoke on the phone, the guy asked exactly ONE question about me and did all the rest of the talking for thirty minutes (for example, explaining the obligations I would be under to HIS company, not to the future employer, if hired). He did not tell me a single thing about the potential employer that I hadn't already figured out on my own from their website; he offered nothing about the people, culture, expectations, reasons for hiring--in contrast to what Suzie had done for me. How would he find a good match without having in-depth info from both sides? IN CONTRAST, I was so impressed with Suzie/Aspen, especially how at ease she put me regarding interviews (they are fact-sharing opportunities, not high pressure, must-hire situations), that this experience with the 'other guy' really showed that Aspen goes above and beyond.
