My journey with Accountemps started in early 2011. As a young grad from Montana I was searching to jump start my career in a new location, that location being The Greater Spokane Area. Little did I know how difficult it would be for an "outsider" to gain employment in Eastern Washington. Therefore, I placed my faith in the hands of several temp agencies in the region. Needless to say, I did not receive much attention, career advisement, or opportunities that correlated with my experience and skill sets. At that point things seemed a bit grim for the move. I have been in Spokane for several months now, and while other temp agencies may have gotten a temp job here or there, they tend to go for quantity rather then quality...as in, they dont care what you are interested in, they just want you to go from day job to day job, and if you arent happy, then they wash their hands of you. Office Team, on the other hand, not only actively looks for jobs that you would like, but also treats you as a family member..Rachel is a prime example. She has always not only been one of the most positive people I have even met, but she also goes well out of her way to try and find a match to what I have experience with, and what I would LIKE to do...thats pretty uncommon with all other agencies. I had been approached by them for a direct hire position, which i had also seen advertised, and right away I was set up with an interview.
