Most of the items are in excellent condition, although there is a plethora of VHS tapes, which I don't think are very marketable. I am sure Betty and Sue will adjust their inventory as they see what is selling and what isn't. Our daughter made a very small donation to help anyone that wanted an item but didn't have enough cash; she's a good kid.

Yet some of the worn items are vintage. My mom picked out two books for $1.75, crazy cheap. There are kids clothes here for .10 cents each or 20 items for $1, not bad. There were also deals on Christmas items, buy-one-get-one free. There was a selection of old music books here for cheap, which made me happy. For those starting out in a new home or apartment there are plenty of household items, kitchen utensils, and small appliances available for purchase. While onsite we also noticed a small selection of jewelry - necklaces, rings, and earrings. If you are in the area shopping and looking for a deal, I recommend stopping in.

I picked out a brand new unused roasting pan that I actually used to cook my Turkey this Thanksgiving. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful. She informed me the roasting pan I purchased was previously her mother's, so she was glad it was going to a good home. The store is very clean and organized. The store is huge and jam packed full of good furniture, home decor, collectables, jewelry, and more; so much so that a tall guy like me has a hard time getting around without bumping my head on something hanging from above. There is also a warehouse next door to the main building but it is closed until Thursdays, I guess to minimize the amount of staff working on slower days. Something to note that this store has a fantastic selection of stained glass sheets in a variety of sizes for sale. They also have a stained glass workshop in the back, very cool. Plus the owner makes stained glass wind chimes and other items that are here for sale. Although many of the items here are very nice and an excellent condition, we felt that everything is just too expensive. Even some of the items you consider 'Thrifty' seemed overpriced. Regardless, if you're looking for a unique piece of furniture, lamp, or dining room set they just might have it. I highly recommend checking them out if you have never been here before because they do have a lot of great stuff, but honestly I can't see myself going back here on the regular just because of the pricing.
