Our daughter Delilah has been training here, and we've decided without hesitation to keep her enrolled long-term. From day one, Coaches Warren, Alex, Jefferson and all the coaches at BTT have been nothing short of phenomenal. They've shown an incredible amount of patience, dedication, and care with Delilah, and it's clear they genuinely love what they do. What really stood out to us is how they treat each child as an individual, recognizing where they are in their journey and guiding them not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. They give each student personalized attention while also nurturing a strong sense of discipline, confidence, and respect. The environment is supportive, structured, and full of positive energy. You can see how much the kids are enjoying themselves while learning real skills. There's a beautiful balance here between focus and fun, and as parents, that means the world to us. We're so thankful to have found a place that not only teaches technique, but also reinforces character development. Brazilian Top Team Long Beach has already made a lasting impression on our family, and we're excited to see Delilah continue to grow here. Thank you again to Coaches Warren, Alex, and Jefferson and all the coaches at BTT for everything you pour into these kids. Highly, highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to introduce their child to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a place that feels like family!

Wow!! This place is amazing. I've only been 2 times and already I feel a difference in my body. You…read moredefinitely get a full body work out (and soreness. Lol) at this gym. There's a variety of classes you can take such as cardio kickboxing, women's bootcamp (my fave), zumba strong (lots of fun and high energy), muay thai, and strength and conditioning. Bailey is awesome and I highly recommend taking a class with her as your first time coming here! Note: Small parking lot, but I've never had a problem finding a spot on the weekdays. There's also street parking as well.

LB Fitness is hands down the best gym I have ever gone to!…read more From the first phone call with Bailey, one of the instructors, I was impressed with how professional and no nonsense, yet warm and welcoming this place is. Being new to the area, I was looking for a specific kind of gym--smaller, non-chain, that offered martial arts but also a good variety of strength conditioning and cardio classes. With LB Fitness I found exactly that, and more! Cardio kickboxing, combat conditioning, and Muay Thai with Edson have definitely been transforming my body--I am stronger, leaner, have more endurance, and am overall more fit than ever before. But taking these classes and seeing the results has also had a tremendous impact on how I feel: more confident, grittier, and full of energy! I'm now addicted to learning more combinations, practicing my kicks and punches, and am motivated to continue getting faster and adding more power. Also, as Edson is big on technique, his combat classes are great to learn how to properly work with weights, lift, and develop more strength without getting hurt. Boot camp and Zumba Strong with Bailey are also a must! Mixing cardio with strength conditioning (to a great soundtrack!), these classes are all about tightening, leaning, and burning calories. Also, Bailey is an incredibly encouraging, supportive, and motivating instructor, so while she will push you to your limits, you likely won't even notice until the next day when you are beyond sore =) Finally, LB Fitness tends to attract people who are willing to work hard to get results, but who are also down-to-earth, friendly, and supportive of each others' journeys, which has been truly refreshing. I definitely appreciate the community aspect of this place and am excited to keep going there. You definitely need to check it out for yourself!

Candyce keeps it fun while she kicks my butt and changes up my routine every few weeks. She's great at explaining why she's having me do each exercise and at showing me how to do them. Candyce takes the time to make sure my form is correct so I get the most out of every single exercise. I always leave my sessions with her dripping with sweat and feeling like I have just been through the longest hour of my life! Her rates are reasonable for all of the personalized attention but don't expect any frills at this gym. At GIT Right you have to bring your own towel and water. Old school, I know. The trainers monitor every exercise so that people are doing proper form and are positioned correctly. In the 9 months that I've been here I've had no injuries, and mostly due to them emphasizing proper form and stretching. They pay particular attention to you and your fitness goals, and as experts in their fields, they offer great advice and suggestions to reach your goals faster, whether it be weight loss, muscle gain, endurance, or better nutrition. I'm always raving about how happy I am to have joined. I have met some great people here that motivate and inspire me on a daily basis, and I never thought I could say that I look forward to getting my butt kicked every time!

One of the hardest things to find when it comes to find a good fighting gym is a place that has the…read moreright culture and vibe for everyone. A place that isn't toxic, that has respectful regulars who aren't territorial, a place where people offer their hand and give their name first before asking for yours. You'd be surprised at how openly hostile, rude, tribal, clique-y, and toxic a fighting gym can be. (Or maybe you aren't) Regardless, the rare places that aren't like that, you gotta hold onto. Not to mention, you have to have a coach who took the time, paid "the dues", and is passionate about the art. The DEN, I can assure is one of those places. If you're curious about the art of 8 limbs, or if you're somebody who wants to fully get into it. Stop by the Den! 10/10 would recommend. On a side note.....Coach James is one of the great "what-ifs" of the sport. In my mind, he could have been an incredible professional fighter. But, in his own words, "I never liked the spot light and I don't like getting too much attention." But "I just love Muay Thai, and I'm getting to do what I love." But don't let the sentiment fool you. He's an absolute beast in the ring, and guys nearly 20 years his junior have a hard time keeping up with him when they spar. The gym also is quite "Spartan", no frills, no expensive machines, one punching bag, a few weights, a bathroom, an equipment room, a mat area, and a ring. That's about it. Everyone gets nice a close on a busy day, but for me, that's kind of the charm of the place. No crazy amenities, just a temple dedicated to the striking art. The regulars, including the guys who have been coming for years, are remarkably laid-back individuals. No real chip on anyone's shoulders, no one is trying to prove anything, just a bunch of real enthusiasts of the art. Case in point, I'm surprised to find that after a few weeks, a bunch of them even remembered my name, gave me a fist bump, and welcomed me back. But again, don't let the sentiment fool you, if you punch hard, they'll punch back harder, and if you think you keep up with them, they'll take you to depths you haven't been before. There are levels to this game, and there a people there who are going to be 2-3 levels above you. My advice, be friendly, be consistent, be respectful, and stay humble.
