I have never got in and out in under 3 hours usually take 3 to 4 hours . Once I was here 5 hours . They close without any notifications. I drive 40 miles to donate only to find the door locked after calling before I leave the house. The line is always 5 miles long with one person checking in new donors and returning donors. I have fallen below my $60 donation because I am I am unable to donate as frequently because of them closing early or opening late. So therefore I am driving 40 miles for $40 dollars . The bad comments I have read is unbelievable to me, everyone have their own opinions. every staff I encounter through the years with, has always been very nice and friendly, yes the line can be a long wait, if you have no patience it's best not to try to donate, to keep your protein up you have to eat high protein the day before you donate and drink plenty water. read more

Came in about 9AM had about 4 people infront of me at the time, took about 2 hours to get checked in for my blood pressure and etc.. got to the back still had to wait another hour just to get hooked... Rather the place is 10 people in line or 2 people they still choose to drag their feet as if they don't have people here and some of us don't have 5 hours to spare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to 4 different plasma centers in the last 10 years and had hundreds of donations. This is the worst center by far. 2 times I showed up for the initial 1st donation, and they did not have a nurse to do the required physical. Then the lost my sample twice putting me on hold. Then one of my samples was deemed good by the lab and they said they had to wait for a doctor to verify it. A week later still not verified. Their customer service is Terrible. It is more than a lack of sense of urgency their is no sense. The 2 times I was able to give took far longer than needed to. Go to one of the other places in town. read more

If I could rate this place than even lower than a one star, I would. Terrible service, rude employees who clearly dont know what they're doing, extremely long waiting times because the staff is disorganized and a fucking mess. Dont waste your gas coming here. For $30 fucking dollars?? Hell no. I went outside to find my car keys, and I was gone not even a minute long. They told me I had to redo the entire health screening process again. I've been to this shithole at least 6 times and no one ever told me that was a rule. It was told to me in a very rude way as well, like it was my fault they never relayed that to me. I walked out. $30 dollars aint worth dealing with this level of incompetence. They also almost forced me to talk off my headscarf to verify my identity (even tho I just did it in those shitty little kiosks). I wear one for religious reasons. They clearly dont train people well. My friend who came with me said one of the staff members essentially painfully stabbed their arm while inserting the needle and blood squirt everywhere on them and the staff person. AND THE EMPLOYEES PROCEEDED TO RUB THE BLOOD INTO HER GLOVES AND HANDLING OTHER STERILIZED EQUIPMENT. There has been blood on the floor too, and they don't properly sanitize the seats. There was blood gushing everywhere and when my friend asked for a new bandage (because it was soaked in blood due to the employee's carelessness) the employee hesitated and finally went to get new bandages. Like it was a fucking inconvenience... The service is shit, its not sterilized or cleaned properly, the staff doesnt care. Dont waste your time and gas going to this dirty shithole. Fuck this place. Very disappointed with this establishment! I noticed their ad on a Jefferson Parish bus in Metairie with their Metairie address listed on the ad. I thought, wow, I can now donate plasma and get paid for it! I called the day before I went in to see exactly what documents were needed and their correct address since the website listed a Westbank address. The lady who answered the phone was very nice stating to bring a valid form of ID, a piece of mail with your name on it, and a social security card. Today, I visited the location at 11:00 am and it looked like a zoo. I walked up to the front desk to check in and the (I presume) nurse gave me a business card and told me they were backed up, so call back to see when is a good time to come in. What in the absolute hell?? If that is the case, company wide, they should have an appointment system online to schedule when they need participants, or have it noted in their website to call the day of before coming in. I sat in the waiting area for an hour just to see if they would admit me. They did not. There was no sign in sheet present, so I have no idea how they acknowledge participants. In my hours time there I saw one person go to "the back" and there were a dozen of us sitting across the waiting area. I could have used my morning in so many other different ways than driving across the river for nothing. Sitting in the waiting room made me question did I really want to be there. Despite having multiple employees screwing around they couldn't put one extra person to screen? This place is garbage..completely non professional.. This is a medical facility not a barber shop...the staff is for the most part ignorant...a lot of racist garbage happens there...they have paperwork that guides them..but the staff spends so much time jawing at each other instead of paying attention to their jobs..its pathetic...sometimes corporate shows up trying to straighten these idiots out but of course they act like model employees when corporate is there..once corporate leaves they go back to acting like high school kids at recess..really pathetic...they mess the order of the customers up...there's just literally nothing good about this place..ive been coming here for over a year..its sad. read more

Went for the first time with my boyfriend so he could donate plasma and while we were there I was kicked out by an extremely rude lady because I wasn't donating, apparently if your not donating, you can't be in the building which is ridiculous considering it's 100 degrees outside. I donated for the first time ever on today.and I really felt good to know I can save lives. by donating plasma.but do to the aggressive and not so courteous individual by the name of MRS.LYNETTE that assisted me. with checking my blood pressure temperature and also protein level I will not and can not save lives by donating plasma anymore sorry respect is just as important as saving lives but overall the facility was nice and clean I wish everone well overall read more
