It's always really nice to find a place that still offers an affordable basic service, along with the high-end stuff, and still does an excellent job with the basics even though they don't profit as much. That's good business that makes me loyal, keeps me wanting to come back when I do have the chance to spend bigger. The spa has a nice atmosphere, although it does get a little loud when it's busy. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick, but not uncomfortably rushed. Massage chairs are great and they give a really excellent shoulder rub while waiting for your nails to dry, which is a great perk. Huge color selection and choices for different types of lotions and oils etc. for foot and leg massage with your pedicure. I can't speak to the durability of their polish jobs yet, but there always seem to be lots of regular loyal customers when I've stopped by. I will definitely keep coming back!

When I questioned the higher price, I was told there were extra charges for the gel color, something that was never explained beforehand. Only after I pointed out the discrepancy was I refunded $5. Customers shouldn't have to question their bill every time they visit. Transparent pricing is basic customer service. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling like there is always going to be another surprise charge added at checkout.

A regular pedi and gel mani takes 1hr or 1hr 15 min max. Perfect for a working mom who can't be spending hours at the nail salon. And my gel manicures have always lasted at least 3-4 weeks. I've never made an appointment and just walk-in with no issues - although I tend to go when they just open/early mornings. And no specific person because every single one is incredibly capable. Have done chrome, cat eye, ombré, French, etc. - they're able to do it all.

She was very nice and answered every question I had about how long the manicure would last and how they would remove it when it started to grow out. I felt the price was more than reasonable for the service I received. She told me if it started to chip off before it grew out in 2 weeks, she would fix it for me. The place is cozy and little later Carine came out. She gave paper work to do and asked to be seated for sometime. My facial was good. Carine did a nice job. She was very quiet and I decided to have a general talk during the facial since we hardly spoke when i checked in. My facial was done in about 45 mins, would have been nice if it was for 60 mins. Gigi's didn't have a lot of reviews but all the feedback I read was excellent so I decided to try it out. So many positives: Gigi herself took the booking and was wonderfully warm, helpful and caring. She made sure a makeup artist would be available and called me back to confirm. Everyone at the salon was friendly, kind and attentive. I was using a cane after hip surgery and they were very considerate about my comfort and safety. Apologies in advance if I got some of the names wrong in the next section.... Pedi: Veronica did a great job! Only minor complaint was that pushing back the cuticle was painful---maybe more soaking and cuticle softener needed. Massage chair was great BTW! Brow waxing (Ashley): friendly and very nice, listened carefully to what I wanted, didn't remove too much, very considerate about potential discomfort (it was a breeze!). Brows looked terrific! Makeup (Melissa): absolutely wonderful. Such a nice person as well as knowledgeable, skilled and flexible to adjust to my preferences. She explained every product she was using and what she was doing, gave tips along the way and answered my many questions. I learned a lot, had fun, and the makeup was beautiful! Nails (Diana): what a consummate professional as well as a truly lovely person. She did a meticulous job on my gel manicure --- it turned out great and I kid you not, has not chipped or peeled in three, count 'em, three weeks! In fact, I waited to write my review until today so I could include a 3-week photo! Plus, Diana makes a delicious cinnamon coffee! As a bonus, Gigi's husband Link2Link (his professional name, he's a musician) had a lively and interesting conversation with my husband while he was waiting. I can't say enough good things about Gigi's! Wait, another plus: it's located in the strip mall next to the Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk. Couldn't be more convenient if you're staying there---check it out! Gigi's only opened in September 2021 so I hope they continue to grow their clientele. If I lived in the area, Gigi's would be my go-to salon for all my beauty needs, hands down (if you'll pardon the pun!).

He asked if he should avoid anything and focus more on something else. I told him my back has been bothering me the last couple days. He spent a lot of time working everything out. Perfect amount of pressure. He was super friendly and nice and talkative. He tries to get to know each of his patients, also tells you a little about himself too. Stayed a few minutes after the massage to chat. Great guy, great massage, great spa! I also wrote a Google response and almost immediately got a response back. They really do care.
