This is a parking review:
I parked here for about 2.5 months while working down town before changing parking lots to a closer lot to my office. I was paying around $250, but they may have raised it.
This is pretty awesome covered parking. Stalls are big and lots of room to turn around. Lanes are wide, but some parking stalls are on slopes. Not all floors have elevator access, but it's often easier (and faster) to just use the stairs than the incredibly slow elevators. Parking garage is well lit and well ventilated. Also, no risk of flooding as it's above ground rather than below.
There's no need to get paper parking passes as the parking system uses cameras to record everyone who goes in and out. As long as your plates are in the system and current, you're fine.
Parking lot is open early week days, but closes at 8 PM including Fridays and you need a dongle/key to raise the gate once it closes. Regular open weekend hours are much shorter, and Sunday requires a dongle/key to raise the gate at all.
Bonus: I think Augie T works in the building as when I was parking there, every work day there was a car with a giant Augie T picture on the side.
Not so Bonus: Some of the people who regularly park there, park badly, but hey, this is Honolulu right? Bad parkers come with the territory. Not so bad part is those bad parkers are generally in reserved or disabled spots. read more
