He said to me "If you go against it, that's more money in my pocket, and no money in the pocket you already have!" He said that over the phone, which was completely unprofessional. I have actually reported him to the State of California Bar (or whatever you call it.) I suggest if he gives you guys issues as well, you report him too! He should not get away with this. His employee Christian is just as bad because he says Steven will get back to me, and never gets back to me. Basically, he does not fulfill his fiduciary duties, nor does my 50% brother, as a trustee/legal team of the trustee because he has not provided an accounting of where the money has been going the past 5 years. There is so much money missing from the trust that him and my 50% brother have not PROVIDED any accounting for of those funds the past 5 years now. They have my current address, but did not send the hearing date to my current address, but instead to my previous address, which I never received from that previous address either because I have informed delivery from USPS connected to my old address and have never seen that in my files. Don't use them! They are full of deceit and lies and selfishness!

At our initial…read moreconsultation, I informed him that I was financially unstable, and he assured me he would handle my case conservatively and seek attorney fees from the opposing party. He required a $5,000 retainer, which I paid in reliance on these assurances. Shortly after representation began, Mr. Samandari mishandled the objectives of my case by pursuing the sale of properties rather than proceeding to trial, resulting in significant wasted time and fees. Despite later clarification, it took several years to reach trial. During this time, he failed to provide monthly billing statements as required by his agreement, instead issuing large, infrequent invoices of $10,000-$20,000 with unclear or inaccurate entries, including incorrect dates. When I could not pay lump sums, he repeatedly threatened to withdraw. Mr. Samandari provided minimal legal guidance, failed to review documents I supplied, and prepared for hearings at the last minute. Much of the casework was completed by my family and me. He also communicated disrespectfully. Although a settlement was reached, Mr. Samandari contributed little and has failed to assist with enforcement. It's been 7 months since my divorce has been finalized and I haven't received anything from my settlement agreement. I do not recommend hiring Mr.Samandari for your divorce proceedings.
