I went into court and it was told that I needed an attorney present. l, of course, called Aaron immediately to tell him the update and although he was driving, he pulled strings to call the courtroom and have my walk-in a breeze. I was waiting with other people in the hallway and had my name called in first, even though there were people waiting before me. Aaron was able to represent me via a phone call personally with the judge and I was walking out of the courtroom within a few minutes! I paid my final fee and went home. No one likes going to the court or DMV but with this experience, I know that if I had to do this by myself, I would have had to wait all day for an appearance to talk to the judge and perhaps even defend myself.
