No smile, no thank you, no have a good day, if you ask questions about anything you get a long pause, attitude, eye rolling....just disgusting, it's a simple job answering phones and making appointments, requires no qualifications or any school or and I assume is very relaxed, just requires you to be courteous and nice which none of the 3 'ladies' have, meanwhile the doctors who are actually doing the work are professional and caring to the patient / customers. Advice: train all front desk workers on proper customer service, make sure they understand their positions and roles. The office manager has stated I am required to see Shor or Trufolo for my dental care. They are not at all concerned with my choice, it can only lead to one conclusion: they greedily only want the billing. They don't take the time to know you only threaten you when you want to leave. DON'T bother with this one…read more As the previous reviewer stated, the office staff is incompetent, lacks basic customer service skills, are liars, and not one person in that office actually cares about anybody as a patient, just a dollar sign. I was charged $100 for a basic routine cleaning that was %100 covered by insurance (because of a mix up with insurance information). I called the office IMMEDIATELY the next day to correct the insurance information, and every day after that to make sure the claim was submitted correctly, and to have my $100 refunded. No one would call me back. When I did get someone on the phone, "Oh, so and so is on vacation, you'll have to call back next week". Over the course of the past 3 1/2 months I have been trying to get my $100 back. They finally send the check, only to find out that they sent it to my ex-husband, and "Michelle" accuses me of telling her that's where I wanted it sent. Right, because I just am that generous that I want to give my ex-husband a free $100?!?! Then I'm told the check will be reissued, but they're going to have to charge me the bank fees associated with the stop payment of the original check. What?! You're going to try and make me pay for YOUR mistake? I think not. Dozens of phone calls, repeated messages left for Dr. Dlugosz herself (who refuses to call me back and speak to me directly). "Michelle" FINALLY (after literally about 8 or 9 phone calls) agrees to "waive the fees". 3 1/2 weeks go by and I FINALLY get my check. And wouldn't you know it, it was for only HALF of what they owed me, with a statement saying I supposedly owe a missed appointment fee from TWO YEARS AGO. These people are unethical and will do whatever they can to get every last dime out of you that they can. I guess they are financially hurting that bad, but are only making it worse for themselves. My son and I have been patients of Dr. Dlugosz for the better part of ten years, and this is how I am treated?! Never again will I step foot in that office again.

Dr. Frank Cattanese and the team at Shoreline Dental are lovely and clearly personally invested in each patient. My hygienist was very good and Dr. Cattanese took a long time discussing my options and working within my budget rather than a fixed menu of treatments/costs. I am moving forward with the treatment plan for two crowns and will let you know how it goes! But thus far, very impressed with this practice and their committtment to patient care rather than high turnover and amped costs.
