The view (we were in the Seaside Suite) was spectacular the first day. The second day a storm came in, which was nearly as interesting to watch. Our hostess Sarah was excellent--knew just when to make inquiries and when to offer us privacy. She even mailed home our (clean) laundry that we left behind! Breakfast was excellent and tailored to our wishes. There is also a very friendly cat, which we loved. Beds were comfortable. We've traveled around the world and this is one of our favorite spots for the money. Highly recommended!

Appreciate everyone there for doing what they can to stay open during these times. The interior has been lined with shelves with orders ready to pick up (everyone must order ahead). Storefront signs ask for only 1 customer inside at a time, and complimentary gloves or hand sanitizer is provided. As I had paid for my order ahead of time, I was in and out in the store within two minutes flat. Then I was on my way to driving back home to surprise my mom with High Tea! Cute little sandwiches, sausage wraps, and scones that weren't throat choking dry. Loved the extra touch for the tea to come with a tea bag, in case we wanted to use it. I'm 120% sure my room was not actually cleaned before we arrived as there were a number of dead flies on the left-hand side of my bed (and one weirdly hanging from the ceiling that I disposed of before even attempting to go to sleep) and the trash can next to the nightstand still had garbage from a previous occupant in it. The mattress was old, but tolerable for an evening. My room also had a TON of old family photos hanging it - which I love because I adore genealogy and old photos - but I can also see somebody feeling awkward because it's like sleeping in grandma's bedroom. While I would be terrified to take a blacklight to this place, it was fine for one night in a pinch.

If you have any sensitivity to fragrances do not visit, there are plugin fragrance pots throughout the house and your skin will quickly start itching. Just a big old house with lots of clutter and not a B&B experience. You can get clean sheets and hot water for a lot less and there are plenty of much better B&Bs to experience.
