I thought I reserved a water view but apparently didn't, so I switched to a water view room for the 2nd night. They said since we were just switching rooms they'd let staff know so they'd do our room 1st...didn't happen, our room was actually ready after the 4pm checking. Time so we were in limbo. Restaurant was a nightmare, kitchen bar was sadly understaffed. We got there early for our 6:30 reservation, had to wait which is reasonable since we were early but they started seating walk-in sat 6:35 and we questioned it and suddenly our table was ready. Waitress was absent most of the time, she literally walked away from our table Mid order because she got distracted. 20min later we flagged down our bus boy and eventually got out waitress. Dinner arrived around 8:30 (6:30 reservation) and was just my husbands barely warm fish and chips, my food arrived a bit later. We just got it to go and left, $120 We won't get back in a resort restaurant that should've been better

We have been coming to this timeshare in Birch Bay for the last 28 years. Always love the location…read moreof the resort because it is so peaceful and serene with great clamming close by. It is also very close to Richmond in Canada where we love to go for good Cantonese food. This last trip was the second time we managed to book a presidential suite with a private hot tub in the balcony. The unit is a bit dated, but spacious and comfortable. It's also very good to know that they send service personnel to check the hot tub every other day. The resort also has clamming equipment that can be borrowed. We got a lot of huge cockles and horse clams on the beach in the Birch Bay State Park which is about a mile away. We always have a great time at this resort.

This is the closest WorldMark to the U.S. Canada Border in Blaine, which is about 6.5 miles drive from the resort. We arrived around 1:00a, check-in was fast and we were given our key cards and parking pass. As all of WorldMark by Wyndham resorts the unit was clean with a fully-equipped kitchen including a microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop along with a separate living area. We had a studio unit (only one available at time of booking) and our room was on the 5th floor. As always during our trips we never get to enjoy the hotel amenities (pool, recreation area, etc) since we always start our day out early and arrive back late. Can't waste any adventure time while on vacation. For our last evening we walked across the street to Bay Breeze Restaurant & Bar. I guess it would be the well stocked kitchen, spacious grounds and wonderful aroma emanating from the numerous rose bushes that line the lawn area - oh, and the indoor pool, an adjacent large hot tub, and fire pit at which you can mingle with newly acquired friends. Leaving the best for last: The host and hostess are amazing! They accommodated our every need, made us feel at home, and even provided us with S'mores for the fire pit one evening. Yumm! When I addressed the issue to Mike's associate she said it was the park and I honestly don't believe that. I stayed in the room for 4 nights. 3/4 I woke up in the middle of the night scratching. Horrible experience:( I would've been more accepting with the problem if the motel offered a new room or some way to incentivize my stay but I didn't receive that.

This is a beautiful little hotel in the suburbs of Murrayville. The historical inn has been beautiful restored and furnished - like traveling to a different time and place but with all the modern amenities of wifi, cable, central air-conditioning, and good quality plumbing. We had the privilege of staying in the Cinderella room (website photos give a nice idea of what each room is like). Beautifully decorated and on the side of the home where the rose vines grow. Impeccably clean. The bed was firm and pillows soft. One of the things we loved the most were the little details and touches: the hand painted quote from Mr. Murray, the artwork labels for each suite, the signature "P" on the hangers, and the chocolate & maple syrup welcome treats. Breakfast was brought to our door right on time and beautifully presented. The muffins were still warm and the high quality porcelain teapot kept our tea nice and hot. A filling continental breakfast! Kudos to Angela and her family for creating such a beautiful space and for their excellent service and communication. Can't wait to be back for a little staycation!

I stumbled across this B&B while browsing for a romantic getaway in British Columbia…read more The whole B&B is fairytale themed and so you can book the "snow white room", the "cinderella room", the "little red riding hood room" and more, you get the idea. Everything is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated without adding too much kitsch to the whole affair. The bed was comfortable and we loved the deep soaking bathtub we used to relax after a rainy day. The fireplace in our room kept us cozy and warm all night long and we would have loved to spend another night here. The (free) Wifi was super fast by the way! We met Wally on our stay and had a nice chat with him. He is super friendly and all about organic food and sustainability. The breakfast is pretty basic but good to get your day started with coffee, cereal, fruits and self-baked fruit-muffins. If you are interested you can get lots of information about the history of this B&B, Wally's family history and you can even touch a piece of the Berlin wall! We had a great night at this B&B and would love to come back! When we left we even got a glass of organic jam to take home, so nice to have such a delicious reminder of our weekend.

We didn't get a call, an email, or anything alerting us to the cancellation. No common courtesy, no customer service. What's even worse is that they cancelled two other rooms in our party with no contact. People flew in from across the country to join us and they were told the same thing. The front desk workers called other hotels in the area to see if there were rooms available. We were told another hotel had rooms available, and when we tried to book there, we were told that they were all booked and didn't ever have rooms. So not only did the WorldMark Blaine leave us high and dry they gaslighted us as well. Then they tried to shoo us off their property while we tried to find somewhere else to go. Don't waste your money or time with this place. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

They were incredibly accommodating and made my family feel welcome before I even arrived. Throughout several emails, I was able to solidify my plans for my stay and be provided with an incredible rate. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and it was smooth sailing at registration. They have a certain number of rooms assigned for those who travel with their pets and want them to stay in their rooms (a major bonus). There is a lot of parking available. The rooms were very clean and well appointed (I couldn't get enough of the Keurig machine and the staff kept it full of a variety of flavor pods for our use). There are restaurants within walking distance and the amenities to keep you fit, healthy and your clothes clean. I found the hotel pleasantly quiet (I can't say that about a lot of hotels). It was a relaxing stay and now that I'm settled in my own place, I will return to the Best Western Peace Arch Inn whenever I want a staycation at a reasonably priced establishment.

First of all the window closure was broken so it couldn't be closed completely. The window blinds also couldn't be closed so no blocking out the light from the outside. The bathroom faucet had a steady stream that couldn't be stopped. The air conditioner barely worked, was noisy as f@!k, and since it was warm outside the room was like a sauna. And, because our room was right above the restaurant, and the window wouldn't close, it smelled like old grease. As much as I'd like to say this place has potential with some renovations, the location is seriously lacking. Yes, it has a partial view of Mt Baker but beyond that there is little " mountain" in this lodge. It's located in a flat open valley with no trees, lots a pavement, and and only a few businesses, half of which are closed. Seriously, the town of Sumas is pretty sketchy and feels more like it could be the setting of a PNW version of Breaking Bad than a mountain town. Next time we come up here we'll look into Airbnb options in Maple Falls or Glacier, not going to Sumas Mountain Lodge again.
