Didn't use the acrylic powder as I asked. Initially, when I called, they said they don't use the acrylic powder but when I asked the nail technician Avery, she said that she could do it so I took her word for it. As you can see from the photos, I had my nails done just three days ago and this is what they look like. I am going to have to have them redone. I spent an hour and a half with her nd quite a bit money, which is a lot longer than it normally takes and would've expected a better result. I showed her a picture of the pink and white nails that I wanted and this is what I got.

I got caught up with a work call and was running late and she was very gracious to me and I was able to keep the appointment. 2. I was able to make the appointment via text and therefore able to send the inspiration pictures from Pinterest to her so she could tell me ahead of time if she could do it or not. 3. She already had the stamping plate set out when I arrived so even thought I was late she was efficient with her time (and mine) 4. She was a delight to talk with during the pedicure. 5. She encouraged me to put some glitter on the plain nails and they were gorgeous!! They looked so good in the Hawaiian sun 6. With the stamping, art, gel polish AND bonus glitter...the price was the same as I pay to just get "boring" regular polish at other salons. As noted in another review I read, she doesn't have a chair with the footbath so I wasn't expecting that. But I am so happy with the results. Plus, 2 weeks later they still look great!

My gel manicure was perfect and is chip free two a half weeks later. Katrina says she offers a two week guarantee on her work - so if yours doesn't last as long as mine did she'll fix it. She obviously has fun playing around with different techniques and styles, and can offer a wide variety of looks. She talked me into trying something new and I was quite pleased with the results. A few things to note: she does not do regular polish manicures, only gel, but offers discounts when you pre-pay for two. She offers a few options for pedicures (regular polish, gel, glitter, and a foot soak & scrub add-on), but she does not have a spa chair. I was very happy with the quality of the service!

I thought they did a great job with the very little information my son gave them. I told him to bring photos if he had something in mind. Apparently he thought they were suppose to read his mind and know exactly what he wanted. Maybe they could have asked him a few more questions? Either way. I'm not sure my oldest son will be back. However my husband has been here before and will continue to come back and I'll have no issues bringing my younger son. The place is super cute. I thought the prices were reasonable for the amount of time they spent on the cut.
