$120-140 This was my third time there and my last. I had an appointment for dip nails and a pedi. The gal "Diamond " that did my pedi was wonderful and did a great job. Unfortunately there is a language barrier; so someone had to step in for all the questions. I was given a menu with no prices ; so I asked to see the one with prices. Then I had to wait (it was not busy at all) and the owner (female) did my dip nails. Sadly; she is the one that could speak for everyone; so my total appointment lasted a little over 2.5 hours (Ridicukots).this was in part to 2 additional customers complaining and her having to go up front and speak English. One make and one other female customer was complaining). Then before coming back to me she had a whole conversation with the employee I gather the male customer was complaining about. She asked me if I wanted chrome.on my nails and said sure if no charge. My nails look absolutely horrible. If I had the time; I would have asked her to start over; but just wasn't willing to give up my day any further. When I went to pay; the pedicure was $5 more than the price on the menu shown to me; and the "chrome" was a $20 up charge (which she took $10 off and told me I should have said something after one nail was done with the chrome). Fair; but I just couldn't get out offshore fast enough. So no, I cannot return; nor can I recommend. read more

I have known the new owners of this salon for years. Helen has always done a beautiful job with dip on my nails. They don't fail by chipping or pealing. I have a job that it NOT easy on nails & hers always hold up. Ken does great gel pedicures! I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

They do an amazing job on my nails, however, the pricing listed on their website is false. They claim to charge $45 for a gel fill but what they fail to post is that if your nails go past your fingertips, they charge $5 extra. I brought this to their attention, but, it did no good. When I walked in I thought the place was cute. I got seated and the countertop looked stained with pink and it looked like it Hadn't been cleaned in months. My thumbs aren't the same length, he was every aggressive with filing and the nail drill bit was over-used. I would go back but a different person. Overall I think it's a decent place. read more

The last time I had a pedicure and foot massage was many years ago when I was traveling in thailand. As an old guy, I felt that my feet were getting more problematic! So I decided I wanted to have a pedicure and foot massage. I chose Elegant nails because they are very close to where I work. Although this is a smallish salon in a strip wall, it is well-set-up and well staffed. I was greeted instantly when I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes before I was assigned a chair for my pedicure. Just like my foot massage in Thailand, this salon was staffed exclusively by Asians and I think everyone was Vietnamese. I was treated kindly and carefully period of course. All the other patrons sitting next to me in the chairs were women, and I just followed suit as to what I should do! My 'pedicurist' was very gentle and had the hands of a surgeon as she was using all those sharp tools! She was efficient. And by the time she finished the massage, I was totally satisfied with my experience. I would definitely go back and say that they are highly recommended! read more

Went today to Elegant Nails in Portage, and was 30 minutes late but came in and nobody was doing their pedicures. Then she they told me they had too turn away appointments. I apologized. Ok I chose basic pedicure then a see they do eyebrows. Okay, so I asked for eyebrow too. I am in a time crunch so I called girl and asked if I can schedule my eyebrows for tomorrow at 4. Girl says tomorrow busy , okay then Friday , still busy, she says do them today. I was thinking to myself "#WOW whole lot of people doing their eyebrows"! I asked for basic pedicure pedicure $40 and just for me she says $60. Taking my business elsewhere ! read more

Busy place! First time here since they changed from princess nails. I was a walk in there was a 45 minute wait, so I left and came back then was able to get treated right away. 1st impression was wow clean, updated and more modern. I Had a pedicure and ouch! I thought my toenails were being ripped off. I'm surprised I was not bleeding after this woman was done me. Kind of the worst pedi ever. I did the deluxe where they put some kind of gel on your legs covered by plastic wrap, she couldn't take it off me fast enough it really irritated my skin. Pedicures should be relaxing and enjoyable this was anything but. My toes still ache. $55 for the deluxe pedi and an extra $20 for shallac, a bit pricy if you ask me. I've had better. I will never again go back to this "business". We were seated and asked to wait 15 minutes past our appointment time. Fine....except over 45 minutes later nobody had so much approached us or apologized. Even when we got up and put our shoes on and grabbed our purses, not one of then apologized or said a word. Went in today for a spa pedicure. It was warm outside and really warm in the salon! I believe the thermostat said 82* which is way beyond comfortable. Others were complaining about it as well. It is hard to enjoy your feet in the warm water when you are sweating buckets. Polish was good and the kitchen-grade cheese grater used on my heels seemed to do the trick. read more

I went there yesterday for my 1st time since new owners. Got a pedi, asked for a flower. I hope I can post my picture of "the flower" I got. As I sat there I was trying to figure out how to tell the girl I didnt like it. Another person sat next to me. I showed her my "flower". I then asked if I could get a new design. Stopped in at Princess Nails for a quick manicure before Thanksgiving. It was a snowy night, but we easily found a parking space and shlepped ourselves into the shop. We were immediately greeted by the staff and seated for manicures. My mom actually got a pedicure as well and was able to lounge in a super relaxing massage chair. Both of us enjoyed our indulgences...and I was really impressed that my manicure lasted almost a week (this NEVER happens!). The 4 starts, instead of 5 stars, comes from the construction projects that are going on in the salon....but I assume that these projects will be completed soon. read more

Do not go here. I got acrylic nails done here and when I had them removed I saw that there was fungus on one of my nails due to their unsanitary tools. They don't do a good job with the polish either. read more

I really like this place and it is so nice nice in there now, I have gone there so many other times and I loved my nails but this most recent time I got my nails done I got Zander and I usually go to Phil. Read the reviews so I thought we would give it a chance. 4 of us showed up at 3:30 on a Friday for manis and pedis for girls weekend. It was packed, so we waited which was fine. My pedi wasn't that great, he hardly scrubbed my heel calluses. My polish was a bit sloppey. My shellac mani was fine. One friend's shallac mani was really lumpy and looks horrible. I paid $75 for a shallac mani and regular pedi. That seems high and for what we got it doesn't seem worth it. I will try somewhere else next time. read more

Worst Manicure I have ever had, I am 64 years old and had a lot of manicures, I do not recommend them.

Apparently this business does so well they don't even need customers! Was a walk in, they scheduled me for 1pm. I called back and rescheduled for 5 pm. Name and phone number was left with asso.When I showed up outside there door that read open until 6!! They were closed. Dont waste you're time booking an appt, and even if you do it doesn't matter if you're not a regular. Made an appt for 5:30, called TWICE to double check I was in the book. I get there at 5:20, they're packed. So I check in and wait. About 5 minutes later 2 more customers walk in and have an appt. Same time as me. When the lady comes to ask for me with the person she scheduled me with the 2 customers that came in AFTER me spoke up and said "No that's us, we only ever see them", even customers are Very rude and hostile, so they got sat down and started to get their nails done. I waited another 30 minutes before deciding it they obvious werent going to get me in when they close at 7 and its 6 and they have atleast 4 other people started or in the process of getting their nails done. And also while there another customer had a pedi, left, and came back cause a toe wasnt dry and smeared, Instead of sitting her right back down she waited for 30 mins along side me before having no choice but to schedule a time to come back. Went in for a Shellac Manicure. It looked nice for a day before the tips started chipping. By day 3 I had a huge chip of polish missing. My cuticles also looked horrible by day 3. I called in to see if they would re-do my nails. They had me come back in at no charge. They took the polish off the one nail and started fresh with just that finger. They re-did my cuticles. For the rest of the nails they painted over the previous Shellac. Now 3 days later the layers are peeling off. I have managed to peel all of the polish off except for the finger that they re-did. That one is on like Cement! Which is how I wanted them done in the first place! My last Shellac manicure at a different place lasted 3 weeks. I don't know what's wrong with this place, but I AM NEVER GOING BACK! Don't waste your time or money here. A person should not be able to peel off Shellac after 3 days. Bad, Bad, Bad. read more
