All units include wifi and cable tv. During the tourist season, everyone is required to have a wrist band at all times. Everyone has access to the outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, and indoor recreation facilities. I was impressed by the staff of the facility, who are professional in taking care of the facility and the guests. In-season during the pandemic restrictions, they were often checking the pool area for wristbands and making sure nothing was over capacity, At the first sign of an afternoon storm they were quickly moving people out of the pools and securing beach umbrellas, etc. If you want to party at the beach, this is not the place. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing place to vacation or live, I highly recommend Summer Winds.

It looks dirty, the beds are old, blinds were broken, the kitchen floor was like a fun-house floor, the ceiling fan in the living room couldn't be shut off, the dining room light was ridiculously dim, the vent in the kitchen ceiling blew cold air directly from the outside the entire time, the neighbors could see directly into the bathroom because those blinds were broken too, and there were roaches. Lots of large roaches. On top of that, one of the bathrooms was so tiny that you could barely sit on the toilet and the shower was a joke. We're not particularly large people, but we couldn't use that bathroom. We arrived Saturday at 4:00, and I emailed Bluewater that night at 7:00 because I was so disappointed in the house. I listed half of those issues because that's all we'd noticed at that point. It got worse as the week went on. We've rented multiple other houses on Ocean Drive and this one was the worst. I received a quick response and someone showed up on Sunday (let themselves in even though we were sitting right there which I thought was incredibly rude) and changed a lightbulb, took pictures, and then I never heard anything again for the rest of our stay. I'm sorry, but at 3K for a week, someone could have come and hung $10 blinds in the bathroom. The entire house looked dirty and dated and was poorly stocked. Stay away from this place. I'll be sharing this review everywhere so no one else has to have this kind of experience.

We've stayed at two additional homes since then. Both meh. The latest, 6/2021, had half smoked cigarette butts on the dresser and under the bed...is that actually considered Covid 19 level clean??? How do you miss cleaning those as well as addressing the smoke smell in a non smoking home. Also this rental was in June when you would expect the homes to be in pretty good shape-not lots of wear and tear. This home had dirty blankets, broken appliances(which were fixed while we were there), hair in the shower...too much to dismiss as a random miss. Bluewater's attention to detail in their rentals has declined exponentially over the years. We love renting in EI but Bluewater will not be our go to rental company moving forward.

Nothing like checking into your rental to discover "work" that had been done that we weren't notified until starting our 5 hour journey. As soon as we walked into the rental you got a strong whiff of mold and could see they had worked on the bathroom. Long story short after calling several times a manager finally reached out and could not move us to another room that was decent. But they did request we a spend the night and then tomorrow they could remove the smell. Thus not addressing the issue of well MOLD. An employee informed us that a few weeks ago a group of kids had torn off the shower head while the parents were gone and that water sprayed all over the bathroom for hours! Maybe thats where the mold came from??? Or years of other negect??? So here we are now at our hotel and still haven't heard back after calling. Not to mention the over all state of the place wss truly terrible. These big businesses don't care about you. They care about the $$$$ from here on out I am over supporting these dollar hungry companies who place people last. Let the blast all over review sites continue.

We had dirty laundry (sheets, towels) piled inside the front door when we checked in because the laundry service hadn't picked them up. As of day 2 the dirty pile of sheets is still there after notifying the reality company. The TV's have about 5 remotes with each and no instructions on how to use. On a positive note we did enjoy our stay here and would probably come back but stay in a different unit. I don't like smelling stale cigarette smoke during my vacation. The beach access is awesome with showers to rinse off.
