*AVOID THIS PLACE!!* I dropped off four brand new pair of work slacks (with tags) to be altered. Just picked them up and they tried charging me over $75 for a bunch of different things I didn't ask for and they ruined every single pair. The hem line is extremely crooked and falling apart. They cut the bottom and left exposed fringe. I now have to pay a professional seamstress to repair their terrible work. I am SO upset and will be posting bad reviews everywhere I can and will tell everyone I know to NEVER go here. I hope they go out of business!! read more

It has taken this business owner over 1 1/2yrs to find my sweater jacket that I purchased in Ireland. Repeated phone calls and in-person queries as to the whereabouts of my clothing were constantly met with "we can't find it" and "we are looking for it". I gave up on my white linen pants that I purchased for only $60(end of season sale priced) but the wool sweater jacket was from Ireland and not cheap! I have searched for a replacement and could not find one. After moving out of the area, I had had enough with his irresponsibility. He begrudgingly paid me $200 complaining about his insurance not reimbursing him without a receipt of purchase from me! Really!? I spent over 1 1/2 yrs and now 3 hrs (x3 round trip) driving back to the cleaners before he owned loosing my clothing! Oh, but guess what! Within 10days of paying me, they phone to tell me that they have found my wool sweater jacket. Amazing. I should have demanded payment much sooner. Of course, he expects his $200 back asap. How long should I make him wait for his item? Waiting for my husband to bring it home (another 3 hr rt commute from our new residence) for inspection before refunding him. Unbelievable. When they first opened we tried their service and he lost my husbands uniform shirts. I thought it may have improved over the years and gave it another try. Ocean Cleaners has remained unorganized, unreliable and irresponsible with our personal belongings. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode! Beware. read more

If I could rate this place less than a 1 star and have it count, I would! I tried not to do it, but I can't let this go. Do not EVER get your dry cleaning done at Ocean Cleaners. I am not name dropping here. I want you all to get the full picture of why I'm pissed. I took a Tommy Hilfiger suit and a Sean John suit in to be cleaned. The TH suit was okay, I have seen better dry cleaning done. But the Sean John suit... where do I begin. I blame myself for not checking on the spot. However, when I take things to get done, and just life in general, my expectation is that it is done right and I should not have to micro mange your work. That has proven to work for me throughout life. Not on this occasion. I get home and the first thing I notice on the SJ suit is the jacket does not match. Not only does it not match, that jacket is like Craig Glover size. And for anyone that knows Craig Glover, then you know that damn jacket is too big for me since he's 6'6"! I take the damn suit back immediately, but the guy that runs the place is not there. I take it back when he is there and this jack ass is like "you sure this is not yours". That's when I knew I was in for some problems. We went back and forth for months. My jacket, I will never see again. When I decided I'd had enough and decided I wanted my pants back and I would explore other options of replacing my own jacket, he tries to withhold the damn pants from me, like he's ever going to find the jacket. Which he failed to do for months. I simply said "give me my pants. I am never coming to this establishment again". The place is 2 minutes away from the house. It would have been convenient. It was my first time using the place. Obviously it is my last. And here is the kicker. This piece of trash gets mad at ME because HE lost my damn jacket. And he seemed to think I did not have the right to be upset. So whatever you do, do not go to this place. I'd rather drive to Grand Junction and get my dry cleaning done than deal with this fool again. Let me be clear, the support lady there, I am not mad at. The owner, can kiss my whole entire.... First time using their services, lost 1 out of 4 shirts and didn't even tell me about it. Only realized it after I got home and noticed my receipt was for 4 items but I only got back 3. Of course they charged me some obscure amount that didn't match the ticket they gave me. I knew the reviews for this place were not great but given the location and lack of other places here in Reunion I thought I would give it a try. Yeah, mistake on my part. Very unorganized. I took some drapes there in early December and finally picked them up today. They didn't call me when they were done, they didn't hem them instead they shrunk them, they gave me back my money last week when I went in and they couldn't find them- then I was in today and they found my curtains and was recharged for them. Worst service ever had. Do not go here. My wife went there to have a simple tailor done and it sat there for 3 weeks and still didn't have them done. They said the person that sews was sick that she doesn't sew. They also will quote you a great price and when you pick up it will be triple what they quoted and they won't do anything about it. They are horrible I went to pick up my husband's clothes that he had taken in and was dropping off more to get pressed only. The price is the same no matter what you get pressed only or dry cleaning. $6.00 for pressed pants is outrageous! When I picked up they knew immediately where his bag was which was odd to me, when he got home I found out why. They lost a shirt and didn't bother to tell me I was even missing an item so they knew what his name was cause they lost his item. Don't go they clearly don't care about customer service. read more

This place is a total Joke. My husband and I are new to the area. My first experience I dropped off my items with a total on my ticket of $26.00 and 7 items. I went 1 week later to pick my items up and was told my total was $48.00 dollars. When I asked why the big jump she said it was because of the belt on one of my sweaters. Okay you made a mistake that's okay people are human I let that slide. That same day I dropped off a pair of new jeans for my husband that were a 34 inseam and needed to be altered to a 32 as we were leaving on vacation in Feb. Mind you this was 1/16/2016. My husband, new baby and I with the dog decided to walk to the cleaners about 1 mile away. After getting there with an expected date of completion promised on my ticket of 1/23/2015 I never thought that would not be ready as this was 1/30/2016. The lady offered no "I'm sorry" only that "um he didn't do them" I said I need them by Monday we are leaving on vacation and there is no excuse for this. Today is Wednesday 2/3, I called prior to see if they were done to be "safe" this time. the same lady said "um no they aren't done" I said seriously I leave for vacation you promised me 2/1 and your telling me they are still not done. she then said" I don't know what you want me to do I do not do the sewing" she said the guy has been out with a cold. Since 1/16? I find this hard to believe. I will be picking up those jeans and NEVER taking anything to them again. I recommend them to no one. If you're going to deliver unacceptable customer service you better believe I will relay the message to everyone I can :) read more
