Everyone I spoke to one the phone, and in the office was as nice and helpful as you could hope for. Even the night security guard was extremely nice. After a long day of moving, we arrived after the office closed, but the security guard came over, gave us some bottles of water, a flood light (it got dark faster than we anticipated) and even offered to help us unload. We of course didn't take him up on his offer to unload, but the fact that he offered was pretty incredible. They also gave us some great tips to avoid damage to our stuff (like avoiding putting mattresses directly on the concrete to avoid mildew growing) and even gave us some wood palates to use to get the stuff up off of the ground. I really felt happy to be able to support a business like this.

Mine was $189/month to increase to $296/month they said they could take it to $224 for 2 months. It's a game they are banking you won't move. They were advertising the same unit for $138/month when I moved to one where its locked in rate for 12 months.

This place is full of ahit, lying about how much it costs as you sign a contract for one price and…read morethey , increase prices without permission to charge card when ever they feel like it, waiting for people to get comfortable and then raising prices is not okay at all. It's a scam business , take your stuff somewhere else. Then they tell you they completely understand and will lower it and a manager will call u back, then when she calls , tells me I can have a smaller unit. BEWARE! After selling our house in October 2022, we stored all of our belongings at this facility…read more In order to have the room we needed, they suggested the larger unit which was not climate controlled. After less than a year of everything being in there, we discovered pieces of furniture with some type of mold. We also had many items rusted, not to mention everything was filthy dirty. There must have been some kind of defect or issue with this particular unit, given the extent of the damage to numerous pieces of furniture, as well as many other assorted items. We even laid down rugs and moving blankets on the concrete floor as well as covering items with moving blankets and plastic. Some items survived; others did not. Upon contacting Cube Smart, we were advised that we had insurance as part of our monthly payment and they gave us information on filing a claim with their insurance company, Great American Insurance Group. The claims adjuster had us e-mail photos and answer many questions only to blow us off and declare that it was not covered. So essentially, the money from the monthly payment that goes to this company is useless. It benefits them and CubeSmart, not the consumer. We not only spent thousands of dollars on storage over the course of a year, we lost thousands of dollars worth of belongings and had to pay more money to dispose of everything that could not be salvaged. We also spoke with the regional manager for this location and he told us Sorry, but there's nothing we can do. Not our problem. It had to be something we did or didn't do or could have been something from an adjoining unit. Basically, it sucks for you. Obviously, we will never use them again and will tell anyone and everyone that we know, NOT to use CubeSmart. But, especially DO NOT store anything at this location. If I could give no stars and horrible as a rating, I would.

They never sent me any notices and when I try to talk to them about it they just don't seem to care. I do not feel this is fair, that in the midst of so much struggle this place wants to make people struggle more. I'm a single mom that works as a nurse to take care of others, meanwhile my health is taking a beaten and places like this treat people the way they do. It's very upsetting. They should be very ashamed of themselves to look for profit in people's struggles.
