We worke3d with these folks on several occassions. They are great. Our latest project was a beach…read morehouse in the Outer Banks. Contacted them by email - they went out and measured the next day and beat the price provided by Coastal accents by over $1500. This was all done without ever having to meet face to face and we just arrived at our house and they are beautiful! My husband said the house appears cleaner than before we were last here!!!!! 10 STARS for Kirk and Lynn at Budget Blinds

I found this "company" on a Google search for motorized blinds and drapes. We made an appointment with Kirk's wife for Thursday at 3 PM explaining to her that we had to leave the island to go for a doctor's appointment but that we should be back by 3 PM and she said, "No worries. If you find you're going to be late just email us and let us know." At 2:25 PM we emailed to let them know we would be 10 minutes late as our doctor's appointment ran longer than expected. At 2:55 PM Kirk called us and said, "we have a 3 o'clock appointment, where are you?" We explained that as we told his wife, we were on our way back from a doctor's appointment which ran considerably longer than expected and as his wife had advised us, we had emailed letting him know that we would be 10 minutes late. He huffed and puffed and hung up, apparently not having read his email. We arrived home at 3:11 PM and no budget blinds. A card was stuck in our door. At 3:44 PM Kirk returns to our home and rings the bell. I answered the door. He does not say a word, doesn't say hello, doesn't identify himself, nothing. Feeling quite uncomfortable with him, I asked if he was Kirk, and he said yes. Witnessing a bad attitude, I asked him if he was having a bad day. His response: "Well, I've been riding around all afternoon losing money with you." I responded, "Well, I can make that better for you or worse for you." He stopped in his tracks, turned around, headed for the exit, and said sarcastically, "Have a nice day." Really? All because we were going to be 10 minutes late and ended up being 11 minutes late? When we had originally told them that we might be late and that was OK during our phone call with his wife. But apparently not with Kirk. My question is how the hell does he stay in business?? Rude. Bad business.
