Terrible experience. Bought 4 day passes for $30 each and the only value was the 20 minute cab ride there and back. Drivers were friendly and informative of the history of the island. Once at Ocean Beach Club there's a sign stating no refunds -- for good reason. Once beyond the entrance you quickly realize there is barely any beachfront, not enough beach chairs, expensive food and drinks, no towels... what's worse is there's a wide ridge of rock and coral underwater so trying to walk out to the inflatables is impossible without water shoes or shallow swimming. So much for "private club" there are vendors trying to sell you their wares at every second. I'd rate this place zero stars if that were an option. Huge disappointment for my first Cozumel visit.

Ordered a large Virgin Mojito, which was just a 7Up with mint in it. Horrible...

Came here at the recommendation of our taxi driver. We were informed there were no public beaches, only private ones, and we'd have to pay to get on any beach. Our driver said he could get us in at a discounted rate. We ended up paying $350 for about 20 adults and 5 kids under 5yo (free). This price included entrance to the beach, all non-motorized equipment (kayaks, inflated water playground, etc.), lounge chairs with sun umbrellas, and round trip taxi service to/from the cruise port. Lounge chairs on this beach are placed close together in multiple rows down to the water line. The water itself is murky and dirty looking, not blue and clear as you'd expect from the beaches of Cozumel. Entering the water, you'll step on rough and pebbly sand until you step into the sea grass that grows close to the shore. Much of the coral has died off, but a few have valiantly hung on. Some of the inflated playgrounds are close to shore, while others are anchored in deeper water. The ones that are in deeper water are difficult to get on. You need to be able to lift yourself out of the water easily in order to climb on. There are no climbing apparatus to make it easy, so very few people use them. Everyone goes to the shallower inflated playgrounds. I think the only thing this place has going for it is the food. It's actually pretty tasty. Their fish tacos are delicious. They give you three soft tacos with grilled fish, and guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream on the side, for USD$11.

Roses are red, those waters ain't blue. Relax by the beach? No spots available for two. For this episode of Catfished, we visit the Ocean Beach Club. Don't let the local cab pusher fool you. If you like being packed like Walmart on Black Friday, this is the spot for you. For the $65 all-inclusive ticket to Mexico's junkyard, you might get a chair on the "beach", you might get a table in the back, but you will definitely get the opportunity to purchase pharmaceuticals from the local drug dealer. If you're more of a drinker, the inclusive package includes 2 drinks on tap and the typical tropical frozen fruity drinks. Thankfully, we were sent an entertainment angel from Ohio on vacay w. her husband of 6 years who made our time pass a lot quicker. If you do decide to ignore this review, I hope there is someone there to distract you as well. I would rather be 6 ft deep in a snowbank in NY then experience this travesty again.

Shrimp nachos may have been repurposed from another table. Half were cold. Worst food in Cozumel.

The bathrooms are immaculate and always being cleaned. The food that we got was very good and my kids couldn't get enough of the quesadillas. The staff is friendly and helpful however, if you change from the beach to the pool you have to switch servers and they want you to tip twice. Which is fine, however, after paying for all an inclusive experience, they give you a very inflated check (that's zeroed out) with tip percentage recommendations. They're very high so be careful. I do wish they had a few hammocks on the property to relax in. All and all it was a great experience.

The inflatables in the water? An absolute hit. My pre-teen son was living his best life--part gladiator, part dolphin. I was half expecting him to demand we install a floating obstacle course at home. The beach? Chef's kiss. The pool? Their tone came across as aggressive and somewhat rude, which was surprising, but we assured them it wasn't an issue since we planned to order food and drinks anyway. Still, their approach left a sour first impression. This used to be our favorite spot 12 years ago when it was open to the public and free to enter. Back then, ordering food and drinks was optional, but the place has since changed under the ownership of Landmark Corp. Public access is no longer allowed without meeting their requirements or paying a fee. There are a few important things to note: sunscreen is not allowed, and there is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming and snorkeling are entirely at your own risk. The menu now caters primarily to tourists, featuring westernized dishes with a touch of Mexican cuisine. Prices are similar to what you'd find in the U.S., which is expected for a tourist destination. Cruise ships frequently drop off passengers here, so lounge chairs tend to fill up quickly until they leave. Additionally, paying by credit card incurs a transaction fee, so using pesos is the better option. If I hadn't come with my kids--and if visiting the Money Bar wasn't the main reason for our trip to Cozumel--I might have walked away. This place holds so many special memories from when we were single and used to travel to Mexico often, but the changes have made it feel far less welcoming than it once was.

Kinda figure out if you cannot beat the system then go along with it. The food and service is alright at this place. There are some waves and current at the beach, kinda have to put some effort to swim and to snorkle in here. I would say this isnt the best place to enjoy the beach. If you go down more to the south you may find better beach, say Playa Palancar ; ) So, next time skip this place and go down more south ; )

I'm not entirely sure one must pay for the guided tour to get in the water and see the turtles. I want to support the local economy, but perhaps there's a trick to enjoying this beach without paying for guided tour, think life jackets, and locker rooms. There is a restaurant on site, and my friend and I just gave a really big tip to the waiter so he would let us leave our bags at the table for 15 minutes while we snorkeled with our own gear to see the turtles. kind of hush hush, we did it very discreetly and quietly and quickly. I attached the screenshot I showed to the taxi driver upon arrival to get us to the restaurant without going through the Disneyland style entrance line and fee. I'm not sure I recommend this method, however, as I can imagine multiple ways this theory could have gone wrong. Side note, perhaps we were off season in late may, but we actually saw no turtles. maybe we should have paid for the guided tour after all.
