So before I get into the room info, I was afraid of staying here was gonna be noisy, due to the fact of they put us next to the elevator, (lol) and there was a soccer event going on, (and did I mention it's all kid's soccer) , so hotel was sold out with kids everywhere. And I have to admit I heard no noise from the elevator, and nothing at night. However about 7to 8 am , we did hear some running but it was muffled Our room was very nice. You walk in to the tv rooom area , bathroom to your left, and as you walk in more you'll see the mini kitchen and mini fridge. This room as its own ac/heater unit separate from the bedroom. Just fyi. There is a sofa and single chair , both very comfortable for a big guy like me. Walking into the bedroom , beautiful big room, with a good size bed, King of course, tv on dresser, and 2 bathroom with shower and separate bathtub.

Staff is nice and helpful. King Bed Room is clean for the most part. Showers could use some extra love but nothing disgusting. Bed and Couch are both very comfortable. AC unit worked great. Kitchen was tight spaced. Pray that the people booked around you are quiet because you'll hear snores which is weird since you cant hear the freeway or when people flush but you can hear them walking, talking, and sleeping. Check in went well, they had my reservation all booked and my choice of room. I get an upgrade cause I'm one of the Platinum members and they gave me my 500 points no problem. The room looked fine and the WiFi worked, that's one of the main things so I can get my work done. The rest of the room was clean and the AC worked fine. I checked the bathroom and every thing was fine, the hot water worked fine and there weren't any stray hairs about. Breakfast was the standard IHG Holiday Inn stuff. Hot breakfast of eggs or omelet thingies, sausages and bacon and cereal if you want just that. There's breads and muffins to toast as well as jelly and butter. My stay so far has been fine, no problems and a decent quiet room.

The handheld shower reached all the way to the seating area. It also had soap,shampoo and conditioner within the reach of the seating area.The housekeeping staff was very personable, hospitable and encouraging. They helped with walkers, luggage and anything else that we needed. It truly was an outstanding hotel and I would encourage anyone who is in the area to stay there.

The hotel has 3 handicap stalls for the entire hotel and Scott's restaurant combined. So the first night I was told valet was my only option since it was full. I was willing to look past this but then we moved our car the next morning and didn't use valet again for over 24 hours. But we still got charged the $52 for valet for every night we stayed there. After speaking with the desk they removed the middle day since we didn't utilize valet at all. Then someone who works at a different location mentioned we shouldn't have to pay for valet if we have a handicap vehicle because we would park in a handicap stall yet none were available. I mentioned this to the front desk and Analeigh (not sure the spelling) just looked annoyed and said she credited one night of valet. But upon checkout we still had 2 nights charged of valet. I told her the middle night (of 3 nights) should have been credited anyways since we didn't utilize valet that night (or day). So she didn't really do us any favors for the situation. She acted extremely dense and rude. When she finally agreed to credit one night of valet she was visibly annoyed and smacked the bill printout on the desk and proceeded to do something else. I am sure the Westin has cameras and can clearly see I never once raised my voice or was rude to her at all. Yet she didn't even ask "how was your stay" upon checkout before we even had the interaction. It's like she knew the hotel was lacking and didn't want to even ask. Not to mention zero compassion and zero customer service. In addition, the linens were worn down and towels were threadbare during our stay. There were actual holes in our pillowcases and threads coming apart on the comforter and blanket. The area under the sink was super dusty and there was someone else's hair down there with the towels we were supposed to use. There was also hair under the tub. Gross. To top it off, one of two elevators were broken our entire stay. Another random guest said he was there all week and the elevator had been broken causing long waits for everyone trying to use one elevator. He said the Westin charges so much and yet they have zero care for their guests. After our experiences I am on the same page as him. Hopefully the upper management can take these things into consideration and take a moment to have reasonable parking policies and increase the number of handicap stalls. Our child is in a wheelchair and cannot stand or do anything on his own and we were treated like an annoyance. Also, please make sure the rooms are clean and replace sheets that have holes and towels that should be used for rags. For the cost per night of the hotel it's really not acceptable.
