He's a funny guy who chatted with us while we were out as well as being attentive to what the group wanted to do and made sure we all had a lot of fun! We caught a lot of fish and he even cuts, guts, cleans, and bags them up for you so that your catches are ready to just cook and eat! 5/5 would do again. Thank you Bonnie Lee Fishing Charters for making our first time going out on a boat and fishing such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Kevin is dialed into where the fish, prawns, and crab are located and provided key knowledge on where to set traps, how to get bit and the proper way to fight and land the fish. My boys and I have spent countless hours on the water bass fishing so we know how this fishing game is played. We went knowing that there is always a good chance that you may not catch anything. Ive learned after this experience, that Kevin has the knowledge to increase your chances of success. From the beginning of our trip, Kevin was confident that we were going to catch fish. Even after a slow start, Kevin stated that we were going to catch fish and we would stay as long as it takes to do so. We ultimately caught 3 nice salmon and the shrimp and crab pots were full! Kevin was great with kids and got them involved in setting and picking up our filled traps. He cleaned and filleted our fish, cleaned the crab and shrimp which made an awesome Thanksgiving feast. I highly recommend Kevin as a salmon fishing guide and thank him for a trip that my sons and I will never forget.

I had researched other fishing tours and Lang's pricing is very reasonable. Lang is a fantastic fisherman who knows what he's doing and where all the best fishing spots are. He was so fun to hang out with and you can tell he genuinely loves fishing. He was just as excited as we were every time we hooked a fish. My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Vancouver and I called Lang the day before and to my surprise he easily booked us in for the next day. Communication was really easy, he emailed us all the info we needed and we easily found the boat launch. Even though it was windy and raining and cold (end of november) he found us spots where we caught MONSTER sturgeons. I've never seen fish so big! Even what he was calling small fish were the biggest fish we'd ever caught. We were so excited the whole day we forgot how cold is was out, but we were pleasantly surprised that the boat was covered and he even had a heater! I would recommend Lang's Fishing Adventures for anyone who likes fishing, even if you don't know much about it. Thanks for the best fishing trip ever Lang! We can't wait to see you in the warmer weather!

Kolby was very nice, accommodating, and also very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing. He made sure that each member of our family felt comfortable- he had a heater waiting on the boat and waders to keep us dry. Not only did we catch five large sturgeon (an amazing experience that we all loved), but Kolby grilled some delicious salmon and ribs for our lunch. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation in Vancouver! We are hoping to return and try our hand at salmon fishing next time! Highly recommend!

This place is great!…read more My husband and I found this place by total accident via google. If we had realized its location before we paid for a rental we likely probably would have been deterred from using this place BUT I am so glad we were not deterred. We rented a kayak from here to do a self-guided tour of the Pasley Islands. It was an awesome trip. The kayak and equipment were nice and well kept and we were provided a map for our self-guided tour. We rented a double kayak for 8 hours and had it for about 7 hours. We stopped a few really quiet coves for a couple swims and lunch for a couple hours as well. Because you are starting on the sunshine coast you are away from lots of boat traffic and have really good views of the mountains and islands. You also avoid looking at the city. There was tons of sea life as well. The purple star fish is still thriving here, they were sea otters everywhere, and we paddled right past a mated pair of bald eagles. This was seriously a really good day trip from the city and a perfect cap to our Olympic Park & Vancouver vacation. I would suggest this not only for any visitor to Vancouver but also just a really good day trip or overnight trip for a local. It is important for planning to know that you need to take a ferry from West Vancouver to Langdale to get to the harbor and the Sunshine Coast; HOWEVER, this was totally worth it and I highly recommend it for multiple reasons. We parked our car at Horseshoe Bay, walked onto the ferry and took the bus from the ferry to the harbor. It was super easy and the bus from the ferry in Langdale to the harbor took 5 minutes and was super easy to navigate. You could also bring your car onto the island and do some driving on the sunshine coast as there is a ton to see but since we weren't staying overnight we went for the economic option. Round trip ferry fare was about $16 each ($13 USD at the time) The ferry ride took 40 minutes and the views are insane. Honestly this is more like a 40 minute sightseeing tour. The scenery was beautiful. I point out all this information because I think some people would see the ferry and this places location as a deterrent, and it should be a reason to go not a deterrent. Gibsons is quiet, has great restaurants at far less cost then Vancouver. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars was because we did feel a bit rushed at the dock, but I think this was more due to the fact that we showed up 30 minutes early and the owner was kind enough to put us in the water right away even though by being early we overlapped with two other reservations. Another improvement that could be made for the shop would be to explain the private property high water line rule, since we weren't from B.C. we didn't know the rules. It took my husband and I a while to understand that we could stop on the islands as long as we were below the high-water line and not on top of the houses. We kept avoiding spots because we could see a "Private Property" signs and when we finally got close enough to read the small print we realized that we could infact stop at these spots as long as we stayed below the high water line, which is easy enough.

Josh may seem too young to be so knowledgeable but he sure was an expert when it comes to fishing!! He was so professional and knew just the right thing to do to find those salmons for us!! Josh was very professional and lots of fun to hangout with. He was also very patient with my son and my little daughter. They have enjoyed chatting with him and super impressed with his fishing skills. Definitely made today my son's "most memorable" highlight of this entire trip!!! We met our fishing quota fairly soon and also brought home very yummy crabs!! Josh also cleaned our fish for us so we could take it home easily. The boat was very comfortable and scenery was breathtaking. Highly recommend Pacific Angler and will sure use them again when we come back next time!!

Fantastic experience!…read more We were taken out onto the water with Josh. Don't let his young age fool you, Josh was absolutely awesome during our whole charter! He was so informative, explained every aspect from the rig, all the parts, what they do, information about the salmon and the boat, anything you could ask for! As if he has been doing this for 20 years! What a pro The water and the views on the charter were also magical! It looks unreal! We were able to catch a good amount of coho salmon, but did not keep any of it (since we're visiting and didn't want the hassle), but if we did, we would have food for weeks! We were able to interact with some of the seals on the pier when we got back too! Highly recommend!
