Tyler is a very knowledgeable and personable gentleman who really took the time to explain the remediation process . He kept me informed every step of the way including short videos of the progress he and the other technicians were making. His calm demeanor had a calming effect on me and gave me great confidence that I chose the right company for the job. I've never encountered a mold situation and I hope I never have to in the future but if I do I'll only do business with Tyler of Cohen's Restoration .

If you're looking to get a reliable handyman that won't try to price gouge you, then this is not…read morethe place you are looking for. I made an appointment for a quote on assembling a console table, an electric fireplace, and to install 4 sets of Blinds. The owner is so full of crap that he quoted me $950... I should've said hell naw, but I really needed a guy that day. Anyway, his guy shows up 3 hours after the appointment time because he has a special needs kid and has to come late. In which I still said that was fine cause your kids are more important than a job. When he showed up he assembled the fireplace and installed the blinds. The table was broken so I had to order another in which I did and was told they'll can easily come back. The owner changed me $750 for the fireplace and blinds. Although I didn't feel comfortable with the price, I still paid it. The next time I called them about whatever else I needed done around my home, he told me he would get the handyman out to my home on Thursday (appt was made before the hurricane) cause that's the soonest he could come out. Then Thursday comes & no handyman. He says he'll send him out Sunday (today) cause he was so busy What do you know? No handyman. I already found another one. I just had to give my experience with this half ass business so they can't lie to another customer. And I don't want anyone else to lose out on money especially if you have someone to do it for a much better price. Just don't take your chances with this family operated business cause if they can't scam or price gouge you, then you won't see them! In the end, you'll feel unsatisfied like I felt!

JEFFERY IS NOT A LICENSCED CONTRACTOR. PLEASE CHECK THE LICENSE # BEFORE HIRING HIM. I hired H T…read moreConstruction to install luxury vinyl plank flooring in my foyer, living room and dining room area. Jeffery came to my home and installed my vinyl flooring. The floor cracks when I walk on it and the planks are not properly locked together. Also, when I walk on the floor, I stump my toes because the floor is so poorly installed the ridges from where they are supposed to join are raised off the floor. I tried to resolve these issues with Jeffery with no resolution. Jeffery was rude and constantly talked over me and made it clear that I did not know how a floor should look, and I did not know what I was talking about even though I have laminated flooring in other parts of my home. Jeffery also told me he installed a FLOATING FLOOR. FLOATING FLOORS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS, MY FLOOR. It would not take a professional contractor to look at my floor and know it was installed poorly. My advice is run do not walk away from H T Construction. All of the hype you see on their website; not true. They will take your money and not do the work correctly. Also let me add I requested a breakdown of my PAID invoice and have not received that as of this date 07/27/2024. The room painting was done poorly; painted the air conditioning thermostat and vent, window chain used to open and close the verticals. Did not tape off anything just painted. I was also charged for an electrician that never came to replace and check my electrical outlets. Two floor installers showed up to do the floor installation; one was a young man who looked like he was still in high school and did not have any idea of how to install flooring. Jeffery told me maybe the flooring was defective. When I questioned him if the floor was defective, he should have seen that as the floor was being installed and not installed the flooring and I could have retuned the flooring. This was another attempt to shift the blame for the poorly installed flooring to something or someone else. H T CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC
