I made two appointments one for myself & the other for my partner. - both new patients under the same insurance company with the same coverage. Spoke with Jennifer regarding both my partner and i's insurance on more then one occasion. my partner had gotten x-rays from a previous dentist in July 2024, we were told by Jennifer he just needed to bring in his previous x-rays or he would be charged for new ones taken by this dentist (on special for $99) but NO OTHER CHARGES, the ultimate choice was his; either bring the x-rays or pay for new ones. My appointment went fine, got my x-rays, checked out and all that good stuff came back for a consultation for Invisalign, not so much: insurance stopped coverage on invisalign if you are over 19, the suggestion that was made to me besides a payment plan which is hard to get approved for - doctor suggested veneers as a ''cheaper'' alternative. i also waited over an hour in the lobby for a 10 minute consultation. i'm not sure how $5,000-$6,000 for vaneers is cheaper then the $5,400 for invisalign, but ok! He comes in today (03/13/2026) and it was a MASSIVE clusterfuck. The front desk was unprofessional for starters. Then he finds out that he is being charged $100 regardless of him having the x-rays right in his hand. No one seemed to know what was going on. Eventually, i step in over the phone explaining my conversations with Jennifer (he had already explained this to them.) and they tell me that his x-rays are too old and they need to take new ones and because it was a paper copy they could not see the apex of his teeth. We were never informed that there were ''requirements'' to him bringing in his x-rays. Jennifer told us that insurance covers x-rays are covered every five years and we have someone else saying every 3. Not sure of her name, but she stated they would not charge him and do the x-rays anyways (obviously due to both of us being frustrated and telling them what we were told and simply just needing to be able to create a care plan for him). He goes into the back and waits 15 minutes for a doctor to just simply come look at him and tell him a few things with no understandable explanation as to why these things need to be done. he was supposed to get a cleaning, did not happen. he was supposed to get x-rays, did not happen. but he did get a referral to get his teeth pulled! () when he confronted the issue of being told he was going to get x-rays and a cleaning he was told the people to do the cleanings were not there and that the referral he got would do the x-rays instead. Needless to say, left an extremely sour taste in both of our mouths and we will not coming back. He was also told by one of the receptionist that he ''could pay or....'' indicating he needed to leave. This entire process took over an hour of his day for him to get none of what he needed. We also filled out new patient paperwork the night before from what they have linked on their website and when he arrived they said they had none of his information and had him refill out the forms. read more

I paid $2748.57 in January insurance paid their amount. My amount is $878.00. I am due refund of $1,870.57 the office manager has refused to refund and the. When I finally got all paperwork she refunded me $1,000.00 she had every excuse not to refund then when I came in she had them tell me she was sick and walked in smirking at me. I went back had insurance call I. Day of refund she said they were having trouble doing it because it had been more than 45 days. Not my problem it took her so long the dentist and remaining staff are amazing the manager needs to be replaced by someone who can use a calculator and has manners read more

My husband went to Ocala Dental Harmony for new dentures. After 6 attempts to make impressions, the gal said this will have to do. The dentures do not fit and my husband has a very difficult time eating. He went back 3 times where minor adjustments were made. Dr. Narkarmi said he could not do anything else until insurance would pay more in a few months. My husband went to 2 other dentist for help. Both said the denture plate is too large, the teeth are too large and there is a large overbite. Since we could not get any help at Ocala Dental Harmony, we are now paying out of pocket for new dentures at a good dental practice. Dr Narkarmi should have offered to make a new plate to correct the problem!! Stay away from this practice. I had bad work as well but this is more severe and is costing us a significant amount of money. read more

I went there on 7/5/23 and had a check up on my implants I paid in full $ 163.00 with my credit card. Nine months later in April 2024 they sent me a bill for $100 I went to their office and told them I paid in full in July of 2023. I brought in my statement from my credit card company that said it was paid. They said it was $263 dollars at that time and I only paid $163. When I had it done they told me it was $163.00. So I had to pay another $100.00 I did not want to but I just wanted to get out of there. They will never ever see me again. I wonder how many other people have had the same thing happen to them. read more

Today, 1/30/2024 I had my 6 month cleaning appointment. I arrived at the office, checked in and was told I have a $143 balance. I questioned this and asked for a print out of my account to see where this $143 came from. As a side note, I was in their office on 12/19/23 and 12/26/2023 for a crown and paid my patient responsibility of $304 on the spot. I was never told of any balance that I had nor ever received a statement in the mail. As I was sitting in the lobby trying to analyze the ledger given to me. I told the lady at the desk that I needed to take this home and check it against my EOB's. I asked where the $143 is coming from. She took the ledger and highlighted an entry from 2/20/2023! I sat back down waiting to be called back for my cleaning and the lady asked me if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. Dumbfounded, I said no and she went on to say I could not be seen until this balance was paid. I got up and said I have always paid for my services on the spot and if I owe it, I'll pay it but at least give me a chance to review my records. Why would they even perform my crown work from December, 2023 if I owed this balance? I walked out and will never go back there again and will not recommend this practice to anyone.
