Spoke with Jennifer regarding both my partner and i's insurance on more then one occasion. my partner had gotten x-rays from a previous dentist in July 2024, we were told by Jennifer he just needed to bring in his previous x-rays or he would be charged for new ones taken by this dentist (on special for $99) but NO OTHER CHARGES, the ultimate choice was his; either bring the x-rays or pay for new ones. My appointment went fine, got my x-rays, checked out and all that good stuff came back for a consultation for Invisalign, not so much: insurance stopped coverage on invisalign if you are over 19, the suggestion that was made to me besides a payment plan which is hard to get approved for - doctor suggested veneers as a ''cheaper'' alternative. i also waited over an hour in the lobby for a 10 minute consultation. i'm not sure how $5,000-$6,000 for vaneers is cheaper then the $5,400 for invisalign, but ok! He comes in today (03/13/2026) and it was a MASSIVE clusterfuck. The front desk was unprofessional for starters. Then he finds out that he is being charged $100 regardless of him having the x-rays right in his hand. No one seemed to know what was going on. Eventually, i step in over the phone explaining my conversations with Jennifer (he had already explained this to them.) and they tell me that his x-rays are too old and they need to take new ones and because it was a paper copy they could not see the apex of his teeth. We were never informed that there were ''requirements'' to him bringing in his x-rays. Jennifer told us that insurance covers x-rays are covered every five years and we have someone else saying every 3. Not sure of her name, but she stated they would not charge him and do the x-rays anyways (obviously due to both of us being frustrated and telling them what we were told and simply just needing to be able to create a care plan for him). He goes into the back and waits 15 minutes for a doctor to just simply come look at him and tell him a few things with no understandable explanation as to why these things need to be done. he was supposed to get a cleaning, did not happen. he was supposed to get x-rays, did not happen. but he did get a referral to get his teeth pulled! () when he confronted the issue of being told he was going to get x-rays and a cleaning he was told the people to do the cleanings were not there and that the referral he got would do the x-rays instead. Needless to say, left an extremely sour taste in both of our mouths and we will not coming back. He was also told by one of the receptionist that he ''could pay or....'' indicating he needed to leave. This entire process took over an hour of his day for him to get none of what he needed. We also filled out new patient paperwork the night before from what they have linked on their website and when he arrived they said they had none of his information and had him refill out the forms.

Dr. John Westres is the dentist that worked with me, he was extremely professional and kind. Told me I needed my wisdom teeth out, and that they had options for payment since dental procedures are known to be pricey. I met with Adam I believe to go over options. I chose to use their Sage Care option and was approved instantly and set up the payment plan so easily. Came back 2 weeks later to have my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. John Westres, I mentioned my worries of pain due to past dental trauma and he assured me they would make sure I was numb. His dental assistant Bria was a saint, I felt a little pain when we started and they made sure I was okay first and foremost and numbed me up some more both asking if I was truly okay. I can't express how much I appreciated their sincerity in such a vulnerable moment. Once the second injection was given to ensure I was numb the procedure went smoothly, Dr. John Westres was quick and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be before leaving. Ran down all the ins and outs of after care and made sure all my questions were answered. 4 days into healing I had complications, came into the office and waited to see the Dr again. The staff was beyond accommodating to the best of their abilities as I was in quite a bit of pain. Once the Dr saw me and noted the swelling and discomfort I was given antibiotics to treat the infection. I was concerned as I followed after care religiously but Dr. John Westres informed there is never a 0% risk for infection especially in the mouth which is understandable. 4 days into healing and I am coming around and seeing the light thank god. I truly want to thank the staff and dentist for taking care of me and taking my concerns seriously. This clinic is amazing and I will be going in to thank them personally once I'm 100% better. Would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone.

I got the X-rays and the hygienist said I needed "deep cleaning" on half of my mouth. I asked for a print out of charges. It was like $1000.00 for a cleaning and build up for a failing root canal. She said I had periodontal disease in gums for 7 teeth! I needed some antimicrobial treatment on those 7 teeth. I told her I had the feeling I was getting scammed! I paid the $40.00 office visit charge. Follow your gut! I went back home and visited my regular dentist and he said I had no periodontal disease. I went to an endodontist and she said my root canal was not failing but actually looked quite healthy. I feel this operation is taking advantage of the senior communities close by. Beware Stone Creek and Top of the World residents! I'm sure there are more reputable offices in town.

The day before my appointment then reminded me FULL payment would be required $6700, really!! Then after I waited to have all the funds, I paid the full amount upfront, even though my insurance confirmed payment of $2250. They submitted it to my insurance, to be paid to them!! How could they make such a mistake. They always get everyone's money up front. Now 5 months later I still have not reimbursed by my insurance company, STICKNEY office staff says they have requested my refund but now blame the mail inefficiency for my refund not being delivered yet. I will not be returning. SAD to be so dishonest. Truly a BAIT and SWITCH. I plan to file a formal complaint with the state of Florida.

Normally, my dental visits are straightforward and fully covered by my insurance: **two visits per year -- one cleaning and one cleaning with X-rays and a dentist exam.** This process felt completely unnecessary and designed to bill for as many procedures as possible before even performing the service I scheduled. If you are expecting a simple cleaning like most dental offices provide, be prepared for a very different experience here. From the initial call to the appointment, the staff here made it a very easy and smooth process. The facilities are spacious and modern. The aesthetics from the lobby to the rooms lend an air of spa-like relaxation. The people are where this practice truly shines. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. They seem to know that going to the dentist is not at the top of my list of favorite places, but their friendliness and professionalism put you at ease right away. Even in dealing with my insurance, they filed the paperwork for me. If you have any qualms about going to the dentist, this should be your first stop.

One tooth had the gum damaged as a result of that cleaning. I went back to have surgery on the gum. It has not healed properly and has a gap and bleeds. The hygienist named Shelly, she is the fat one, said that I needed the area sealed. She claimed that she could not do it on that day and to call and ask for her to sneak me in for an appointment. I called as instructed and never got a return call. I am now seeing another dentist to repair their mess.
