    My 74 F100
    Christopher L.

Steve and Kelly and the crew are amazing and super knowledgeable and friendly. This is the only shop I'd trust with my 74 F100. Brought my truck here a few times. Had my Wilwood master cylinder installed one time and another when my wheel bearings went out. Prices are more than fair and they are quick. Additionally their tshirts are killer too b

2 of 3 metric Screws out of the plate holding the choke element in place. Stripped?

So...I don't like to do this, but in this case, it's necessary. TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH THIS SHOP/MECHANIC! Brought my 66 van in after finding this garage online. Over the phone Steve (owner) sounded legit. EXPLANATION: I was told over the phone by Steve, "bring it in and we'll get it back to you the same or next day". Well, I did just that...I brought it in. In person...again, nice guy. Gives me a receipt and says, "I'll call you in the AM with a quote". (My ticket leaving says $125 valve adjustment). NEXT MORNING: Nothing!!! At 12:08pm, I call and he says he's been really busy and he'll get one of his guys on it...also, he'll be giving me a call back in a couple hours. Still NO CALL at 4:45pm, so I call and (Roy answers)...tells me that Steve had left for the day! I said, " he was supposed to call me back". I'm now thinking WTF. Roy says, "I'll be looking at it myself and I'll probably need to pull the sending unit to check the filter". I explained to him the tank & sending unit is only 2 months old maximum. It reasonable I think...Things do go bad...No problem, He says, he'll have Steve get back to me in the AM. AM Next day: phone call...Steve...sorry for not calling you back. Your van...going to see what the problem is! Call you shortly with a better $ idea. Ok LATER: Steve...So the choke assembly is NO more good. There are Metal shavings all over and your choke's not working right. I can get you a new choke in like a month or we can slap another carb on it. Your choice! I explained...that carb (WEBER) was less than a year old, so Just adjust the valves. Steve says, well...we'll adjust the valves and get it running until you can figure out what exactly you want to do. EVENING: called to pick up. I pick it up and find a new fuel pump (no problem), fuel line replaced (no problem) and fuel line shortened (looked better/cleaner). PAID $480 Driving home...running the same or worse than before. Stopped for fuel because the gauge was reading empty. Added $40 only to find that the gauge wasn't working. So, I thought it may have been put back in upside down. Reasonable right? AND I wondered...why wouldn't the mechanic at least check the gauge after messing with the sending unit? Now I'm back home and I started looking at the choke assembly myself. I, end up removing the choke element only to find that the triangular plate holding it on was forcibly forced back on (way out of position in order to make it run better) with two majorly stripped out screws. (See pic) Three screws hold the plate on. How about adding another screw? Call shop in the AM. Tell him what I did about getting it running and that my fuel gauge may have went back incorrectly. Steve...no problem, bring it back in and I'll have one of my guys check it while you wait. 10AM, I bring it back in. An hour later (while waiting), Steve says, "come here and look at this...shows me the sending unit with a electrical current reader attached to it and says...it's bad! I say, that's weird, it was working when I dropped it off. He says, "Well they do go bad". I think ok reasonable and it is over 2 months old and made in China. Reasonable...Coincidence? Steve says, get another sending unit and bring it by...we'll pop it in. I'm thinking...finish putting my shit back together, so I can get out of here. Once I got my vehicle back, THE GAS CAP WAS MISSING. You gotta be kidding me. I headed back in...said, you guys are now sending me away with no gas cap. I said, I won't be back. Steve says, thank you and good". Wow...this was a $480 lesson and a story to tell. Look, I'm just sharing my personal experience. Use it or not! From OC to Lake Elsinore and now Murrieta? Maybe they don't have a good track record. BEWARE! Contact me if needed. ADDED: After being told that my fuel sending unit was bad...I ordered another unit online this afternoon. I also, topped off my tank, since it was reading empty...guess what is miraculously started working. So either it's magic or their "testing unit" is bad. I haven't even got the new unit in the mail yet. Another $50 and a waste of my valuable time..thanks for nothing, but a waste of time, money and nonsense. Added pic of fuel gauge...oh and your response. You are a LIAR...TRY AND TWIST YOUR GUYS' unprofessional behavior and your mechanic did remove the SENDING UNIT...HE SAID SO HIMSELF and why would you apologize and tell me to bring it back in? What a bunch of jibber jabber. GEEZ THIS TICKS ME SO OFF!

I agreed and after a few days Danny called me and told me everything they did to it and that it was ready to go home.

I recently realized that my wrap had come to the end of its life and began the search of looking to…read moreget the old, rusty wrap removed and get a new wrap. So I turned to Yelp and started asking around. That's how I ended up at Nlabs. Right off the bat, Nik was really freaking nice and had me come in asap to get a look at my car and to let me look at all the colors and brands he had available. I went in with a certain color in mind so I looked through ALL of his samples. Multiple times. Gotta give Nik major props for being so kind and patient with me through that in itself lol. He was very honest. He told me the brands he stands by and gave me all the information needed. He was never pushy. I never felt forced or pressured to give him my business. I left that day with a quote and all his contact info. Again, no pressure from him. I left not knowing I would end up getting my car wrapped with him. I went on to get different quotes from different businesses. Most of them made it sound like removing the old wrap was going to be a huge hassle. And you know what, maybe it was, but either way it had to get done. Not long after, I ended up reaching out to Nik again. I cannot stress how freaking kind and accommodating this guy is! That's mainly why I ended up going with him. And because he seems to have a true passion for what he does. And because he was very informative about every thing. And because he seemed as excited to wrap my baby as I was lol. The car turned out AMAZING! I got a color completely different from what I had in mind but my gosh it's beautiful. I've already gotten several compliments out and about. Nik kept me in the loop the whole time he had my car. Even after delivery, I'm still in contact with him. I've taken the car once so he could wash it for the first time and look for anything he felt needed to be gone over again. He told me to contact him again if I need to take the car in to fix any bubbles or anything that might arise the longer the wrap sits. The last wrap place never did this. I cannot stress enough what an amazing choice it was to take my car here with Nik and his team. If you're looking to get your vehicle wrapped or rewrapped or just removal please go see Nik. You will not regret it. Excellent customer service!!! 11/10 would recommend
