I needed to order 14 plexi glass shields for my business to help protect my staff from COVID bateria. I went in on a Thursday to get a quote and met with Jeff. He took down the order and said he would get back to me the following morning and I inquired as to how long it would take for my custom order, he said 4-5 business days.
After not receiving a call back the following morning, I called at 11:30am to follow up myself. I spoke to someone else who said Jeff was at lunch and I asked if I could speak to someone else because I had told Jeff I really wanted to get this going and expedite it however possible. He said he would let Jeff know to call me, but said he would be back in 30mins. I called back at 2pm and a lady picked up the phone and I explained that this had been the 2nd time I had followed up regarding the estimate. She told me the General Manager had been out of the office due to a personal matter, which I completely respect, and that she needed his confirmation on pricing. I said when could we get this done because the communication was horrible and basically no one was following up with me. She said she would figure it out for me and would call me back with pricing in a couple hours. She never called me back.
Very frustrated, I called again at 4pm and asked to speak to a manager, the gentlemen said he was an Assitant Manager, and he said he would call me the following day (Saturday) because it was too late to pull up my estimate because their computers had shut down. He also told me that the time frame would be actually at least 7 business days at the minimum if not more, as opposed to the 4-5 business days, his colleague Jeff, had initially told me. Someone did call me this morning at 845am, I did miss the call because I was busy but, called back 15mins later and no one picks up the phone because they're closed on Saturday's. Regardless I didn't get a text and no voicemail was left, so the effort was abismal today if that.
I followed up 3 times in 1 day and spoke to 3 different employees and all of them faltered, someone really needs to speak to the employees about communication and customer service. How is it this hard to get an estimate? read more
