She retrieved my documents from me and started me on the process. After which I met Kathy who is very efficient and nice as well. She got through my taxes in just a few minutes albeit my tax case was relatively simple and cut through. Kathy went over my taxes with me and explained each line to me. Then explained the amounts I would be getting for my federal and state tax refunds. I liked at the end how Kathy put everything in a nifty blue folder for me to take. I would definitely recommend TT Tax for anybody needing to do their taxes and will do my taxes with them next year.

Once paid, they offered little further assistance. Significant miscommunication between staff members on essential elements of our filing. Longer version: We hired a tax preparation service to help navigate changes to our filing status after getting married. Our tax consultant, Garrett Jones, began working on our application with the wrong filing status. After correcting this error, there was poor communication regarding important changes that needed to be followed up on, which resulted in IRS notices arriving in June. When I raised my concerns with Garrett, his guidance was vague and he offered no clear timeline for resolution. Weeks later, with no progress made, I was left with the impression that once he had been paid, his investment in us as clients had ended. I spent approximately 10 hours on the phone with the IRS trying to sort out the status of our account. Throughout this process, Garrett maintained that I owed approximately $2,000 to the IRS -- when in fact I had a pending refund of approximately $2,000. In the end, we were left with a significant miscalculation, poor customer service, and no choice but to resolve everything ourselves. I'm still unclear what the fee we paid to Crossroads Financial Planning actually covered. Highly recommend taking your taxes elsewhere.

Because of this huge mistake, I had to spend a lot of extra time double-checking our business taxes to make sure those were actually filed, too. This oversight caused way too much unnecessary stress. I wouldn't recommend them because they lack communication and basic attention to detail.

A big plus is that I always get my refund within 2 weeks I don't know how they do it! The girls up front are pretty nice as well and chill. One plus about this location though is that it's next to a restaurant I discovered called Thai Station that is bomb lol.

Joe moved away from California, but does return regularly as he's a Ducks fan and has season tickets. He may have been worth the price he quoted. I don't know. The two other quotes I got were more than 50% less than what he quoted. It does not make sense for me to pay 2x as much for somebody living in another state to do my taxes. I am writing this review because after and despite my explaining to him and his colleague why I would not be utilizing their services, I began receiving daily prompts to sign a contract. I initially thought helping hands would come to my home but also due to covid, their mobile service is not available. Kyle let me know their office open was in orange. I quickly scheduled an appointment but then found out I needed to wait on the LiveScan forms to be emailed to me (thanks Kyle for saving me a trip and saving the company's time). It took 4 business days to receive and once I got them, I re scheduled an appointment through Kyle. The total fee for me $75 (rolling, DOJ, FBI). Yameli was the one who helped print me today and she was friendly, quick and professional. I was in and out in about 12mins. She informed me to fax my copy to the board and they should receive the results in a week. If there are any issues on receipt to give them a call back to follow up.
