She lived in Laguna with her husband for a year, so she knew both local tips and the history of Laguna. Our entire group enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about the Laguna Beach history, even though most of us had lived in the area for several years! I really enjoyed the variety of the tour. Kathy knows a lot of stories about the Laguna Beach Hot spots and it was really fun to learn different parts of Laguna Beach History to try and understand the local culture a little bit better. The tour topics include Architecture, Native American History, Local History with Shops, Art, and much more! We definitely saw several places that we will explore in more depth on our own during our next Laguna Day Trip! Kathy brought along a great variety of props to share and did a great job connecting history with current events. All her materials were relatable and entertaining. Kathy is a great educator. She kept the girls and parents focused and on track with time. She was personable and patient with all sorts of questions the group posed. I recommend her tour to boy and Girl Scout troops. In between, leisurely strolling to observe noteworthy Balboa Island homes and historic landmarks. I have lived in the area for 15 years and learned a lot of interesting things about Balboa Island and Balboa Peninsula. Christa is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Full of knowledge and extremely friendly while delivering some laughs along the way. Loved hearing facts along Main Street and traveling both on the Mark Twain River Boat and the Disneyland Railroad. Both quintessential to the start of the Disneyland Resort if you ask me! Loved the history of this tour, but ultimately nothing beats riding the Lilly Belle or stepping foot in Walt's apartment. Thus, I would suggest those tours over this one, but still a really great experience!

Our group walked through Main Street, Fantasyland and New Orleans Square. We were able to hear amazing stories about Walt's concept of the park, rides and expansions of the park. We also were able to hear hilarious family stories and nice little facts and stories about the park. Part of the experience were getting on a rides (without having to wait) and watching the Lincoln Story. It was incredible to be able to imagine the park through the eyes of the great Walt Disney. I traded up a few times during the three hour tour. I loved hearing the stories and looking at the part with these new lenses. What a great man with an amazing vision. I wonder what he would think of the park now! Visiting Walt's apartment was the perfect ending to the tour. I've been wanting to peek into this area for years. The tour ended with a yummy lunch from Jolly Holiday and we were gifted a beautiful pin. It was a great day and the most perfect tour. Even better that we got a nice discount when we signed up for the tour with our Annual Passports. Even though we just took this tour, I would do it again in a heartbeat!

You can show up and book a tour of there are spots available thay day. The tour involves walking around a lot of the original park area. You go on a couple rides with VIP access to the floor of the queue. My tour went on Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Caribbean. One of the things you learn about Walt is that he admired Abraham Lincoln. The tour watches one of the Mr. Lincoln presentations. The tour ends with one of two things depending on how big the group is. A visit to Walt's apartment above the fire station or lunch. The apartment is preserved basically how the Disney's left it with a few changes. There is also lunch included. A sandwich or salad, dessert, and a drink. There are other tours available. I want to do their Christmas tour. This year, it started on 10 November. I highly recommend this tour for anyone with any interest in Disneyland history. The tour is reasonably priced. If you have an annual pass or the Disney credit card, you do get a discount.

All I knew is that there was going to be food and wine for duration of an hour and a half and so I was super excited about that! Once our group of girls got seated in the trolley our host for the night explained what our tour was going to entail. We were going to visit ten local restaurants around old town Orange and enjoy different kinds of wines along the way. We each got our wine sippy cup and we were off! As we drove around Old town Orange I really enjoyed learning about the history of the city as well as learning about some of the historic sites. I actually live in Orange and I never knew that the center park was actually called the Plaza and not the circle. When we were ready to stop at the first place I was actually surprised that we didn't have to hop off but actually the restaurants brought the food to us in the Trolley! Each place gave us a small introduction of their food and business and gave us some small bites of some of their popular dishes. By the end of the tour I was pretty stuffed. Our group had such a great time and I only wished the tour lasted all night long..Haha!
