I loved the overall setup of the banquet hall. It felt intimate and fitting for a party of about 150-200 guests. The entryway included a coatcheck and multiple areas for bars to set up as well as activities for wedding guests. The inside hall itself was beautiful and spacious, allowing for both a ceremony as well as the reception to follow right afterwards. The staff here were just on top of it too in making sure we as guests were taken care of. I appreciated the staff making sure my special meal was provided throughout the evening and for also keeping our glasses full whenever the moment called. This place can host multiple events at the same time - I believe around 2-3. I like how they have coat hanging service right by the door. The washroom are big, spacious, well lit and clean. Evidently with the pandemic, COVID vaccination requirements are checked right at the door and masks are mandatory everywhere you go, except when you are sitting down and eating at the table. I like the open bar layout in the room I was in - it had a variety of drinks available and I love how it opens up to the grand lobby that's right beside it. This is perfect for weddings - doing some sort of mini photo booth; or birthday parties, where you can just hang around, mingle and see different table set ups. Inside the hall can probably host up to 15 tables or so. Great sound system, dance floor and high ceilings. I also like how they have spaced out the tablets are appropriate as possible to ensure social distancing. All the staff were also very accommodating and making sure each guests are served. It's tough nowadays with the pandemic to host large venues, but I'm glad Mississauga Grand was able to make everything easy to follow!

He had banter, could make drinks well (creatively added some small flair to a lot of the standard drinks that guests were asking him to make) and also gave professional suggestions whenever he felt appropriate. The other bartender (who had curly hair and looked really young) was, I assume, quite inexperienced. There were times throughout the night where I approached him and he was on his phone scrolling through youtube. He made me the wrong drinks twice which was funny. I asked him for a tequila sunrise and he gave me a sex on the beach. I ordered a shirley temple for my gf and he made me a bloody ceasar (which has tomato juice in it and isn't remotely similar to a shirley) LOOOOOOL. Had a good laugh.
