The guy took a look at it and made a few adjustments and gave it back to me, fixed, and didn't charge me anything. After this summer using the chainsaw, it quit again. I took it back to Power Equipment and this time, the guy had to keep it to try and repair it. He called after a short week and told me he had fixed the chainsaw and no need to buy another one yet. The guy is honest, reliable, and absolutely knows what he is doing. This business is a hidden gem on the Westside and I drive all the way from the beaches to have him repair any of my equipment as I know he will give me an honest answer as to if my piece of equipment is worth fixing and has saved me a lot of money!

There was only one person working behind the counter and the two customers that were there had a life story to tell. Once I got to the counter the guy was super helpful. They didn't have the part in stock but he gave me a number to check and see if someone else had it locally.

The amount of knowledge he had was incredible. The best part is he gave us an option to rent the hedger before purchasing it to see if we liked it. We ended up buying it right there on the spot. They lie to your face to make up reasons why they didn't fix something you asked them too. Good luck. I'll be going somewhere else. The old short guy at the desk is the problem.

They took the time to understand my yard size and budget. I selected the echo-2620T for its long lifespan and added torque for thick grass. Mike at the counter took extra time to show me how to load the speed feed head, and went over the impressive warranty that came with them. Within minutes they loaded my new trimmers in my truck and sent me away with a free echo hat and Tshirt! I will purchase all of my outdoor equipment from Fla Ga .

And it cost a whole lot less than buying a new one. Communications were excellent whether by phone or text, a thorough assessment of what needed to be done was completed, it took only a few days to get it back even with parts to be ordered, and pickup and delivery were very prompt. Excellent experience and I will without a doubt call Mike the next time I need help!

I'm extremely disappointed with Tools for a Time, which is not something I ever thought I'd say…read more They've been a solid resource for my lawn care business for years, and I've consistently given them my business. Over the past year, after upgrading several pieces of equipment, the experience has gone downhill fast. Staff have been inconsistent and often uninformed about warranties, have failed to honor or properly handle warranty claims, and turnaround times have been unacceptable. Equipment has come back late, not fixed correctly, or in worse condition than when it was dropped off. "Well, you can bring it back," is not acceptable when you rely on your equipment to make a living. I've only purchased Shindaiwa and Echo products through them, so maybe the manufacturers share some responsibility, but customer service and accountability still matter. I'm honestly shocked at how little regard has been shown to loyal, long-term customers. At this point, I can't recommend Tools for a Time to other professionals who depend on reliable equipment and timely service.

Upon receiving a quote, opted not to repair my mower and instead to purchase a used mower being sold by "The Lawn Mower Shop" and have it delivered. Didn't even finish the first mow before it died and would not start. Called and a person was sent to pick it up to repair it, and I was told after that the spark plug wire had come off, and that I basically should have seen that and wasted their time. Now after only one complete mow job the engine is SEIZED!!!! And this crap company won't even come pick it up to repair it, I have to deliver it! Absolutely disgusted with the owner calling me unintelligent and otherwise trying to make me feel as if I had done something to cause his terrible work to fail. If anything, I would say his intelligence is in question because ANY COMPANY that talks to their customers in the fashion Jeff Voyer does should be out of business. Be VERY wary of this unprofessional and incapable repair shop. Steer as clear as you can from this extremely poor company. Even though he presents himself as a "good guy" he is in fact a terrible business owner and treats his customers terribly. Won't stand behind his product. AVOID THEM LIKE YOU WOULD AVOID THE BLACK PLAUGE!!!!!!
