We saw the same corgis at buzz bomb-everyine was chills after a few barks He was just fine at Buzz Bomb, where we came from. There were other dogs at Buzz bomb and of course some barking took place then everyone was friends. NO PROBLEMS!! K? Keep that in your back pocket while reading this. Our family decided to go to JPs. Clyde didnt make a sounds the entire time. Multiple people came up to me saying how good of a boy he was being. He was minding his business. This couple with 2 corgis comes in, same people from buzz bomb, and obviously my dog is interested as is theirs. Their dog barked first*****, so mine barked after, duh. So a bartender came up to us (group of 10-12) and said if my dog barked again, we needed to leave. I asked another bartender why because the other couples dog barked first and his response was "well they come in weekly" ahhhh sooo it's okay since they patron there often and we don't as much. Although, their dog started it everytime?? So I was saying goodbye to my family and ANOTHER bartender came up saying we had to leave and don't come back. TRUST!!! We won't!! AFTER clyde and I left, the bartender told my brother in law that he told us to leave 3x which literally did not happen!! He told me the one time and we left. So please!! Roll the footage on that one I would love to see it. The bartender tried fighting my brother in laws dad after nasty comments were made about my niece.

I ordered food and told the guy I'd be outside, which he responded he'd be out to bring it to me. Time passes. Neighboring tables are getting big orders delivered (people who got there after me). Eventually my friends leave and my elderly dog is burning up on the patio (The neighboring bar were the only ones who offered him a dog bowl). By the time half of our table leaves we go in to check on the food. They say it's coming... we check on the food again. They say it will be right up. It was not. I ask for a refund, the guy says "it's done, do you still want it?". I sigh and say yes. Five more minutes pass... I settle on my refund from a woman with a shitty attitude. No apology, no nothing. The southwest chicken tacos had lots of toppings, but looked like they were missing something. I mentioned to my companions that they were awful dry when I was eating them. Afterwards, I pulled up the menu on my phone and realized they were supposed to have salsa and ranch. I bet they would have tasted a lot better if they'd had everything they were supposed to have on them. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night in a medium-size town, but there aren't a ton of food options there. The ambiance was kind of fun, with an outdoor seating area in addition to the inside.

We had tickets to see Chicago Farmer a few week back, I have been wanting to see this act for a long time so I was very excited. It was a very warm weekend. My friends and I could not figure out from the website or the tickets if this was scheduled as an indoors show or outdoors. I figured the best way to find out was to actually call the venue. I called the venue the evening before and asked if it was going to be an indoor or outdoor show. The gentleman that I talked talked to never really answered if it was indoor or outdoors, but eventually told me it was scheduled to be outdoors, and if the weather was an issue it would move indoors. Trying to plan ahead, since I had never seen an outdoor show, I asked the gentleman on the phone if patrons brought their own lawn chairs for outside shows. This was new to me and I wanted to be prepared for my evening. The gentleman on the phone was very rude and told me if I would've read my tickets I would've had the answers to all these questions. I feel like I looked in the proper places to get these answers and then I looked again after I got off the phone with him, nowhere on the tickets did it explain whether or not it was an indoor and outdoor show and if it was an outdoor show that patrons were to bring their own lawn chairs. What should've been an easy informative phone call to the venue ended up leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I was planning on heading out with a group of eight of us, we would've spent a decent amount of money at the venue. After the conversation with the gentleman on the phone, I discussed the issue with my friends, and we decided that we were going to choose not to spend our money at that venue. I hope that this is not common practice to be rude to customers as they're trying to gather information about a concert that they were looking forward to seeing. It is a beautiful, fun establishment that I hope to enjoy in the future.

Here's the story....when we were in Italy in 2007 we ate at a fabulous restaurant in Rome. When we inquired as to which wine they would recommend with our meal they suggested a Pinot Grigio. We thought...Yuck, why would we want a watered down wine like that when were in once of the best food and wine cities in the world? They said no no no, this is not like that. You will love it. We did. Back to the states....where can we find this wine?! An internet search led us to The Corkscrew, one of like only three places in the states that carried it. We had a friend pick us up a few bottles, but had never been there ourselves. So onto this weekend, we had to go have a look see. Well the place is chock full of special bottles just like the one we had from Italy (that winery is since changed hands and not the same). Lots of interesting and unusual wines from small wineries. In addition on Fridays they have "Friday @ Five" - wine by the glass 5-8pm. For 5 dollars you get a glass of wine that they are sampling that evening. We tasted two really nice ones this past Friday.
