My experience with this OB office was extremely disappointing and, at times, genuinely upsetting. Throughout my pregnancy, I dealt with severe symptoms including vomiting to the point my throat was bleeding, GERD and heartburn so bad I lost my voice, and one-sided leg swelling, which is a known red flag. These were not minor discomforts and directly impacted my ability to safely perform my job in the medical field. Despite this, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed as "normal pregnancy symptoms," without meaningful evaluation. At one point, the clinic supervisor called me while I could barely speak due to losing my voice. I explained clearly that it was from severe reflux and heartburn. She said she would get me in to see Dr. St. Pierre, but when I was seen, that concern was not meaningfully addressed. I was told earlier in my pregnancy that if my symptoms became unmanageable, I could speak with Dr. St. Pierre about being taken off work. When I did, she initially refused to complete disability paperwork and dismissed my situation. She also referenced Nevada being a "right to work" state, which is unrelated to medical leave. My mother-in-law, who has decades of HR experience, was present and confirmed that statement was inaccurate. After significant pushback, the paperwork was eventually accepted, but the process was unnecessarily difficult. I was even directed to labor and delivery triage to initiate paperwork when my OB was unavailable, only to receive more resistance there. There was no continuity or clear process. Dr. St. Pierre also took multiple trips during my pregnancy. When I reached out with complications, I was told they could not assist because my OB was out of town. There did not appear to be adequate coverage. At my final appointment, instead of a discussion about my condition, the first thing Dr. St. Pierre said was, "Why don't you just get induced since you're so uncomfortable?" I was not yet 39 weeks, and there was no explanation of risks or reasoning. It felt dismissive. In contrast, when I saw Nurse Practitioner Katie Bischoff, she clearly explained my stress test results and provided thoughtful guidance about induction. The difference in communication and care was significant. Continuity of care in this office is poor. I rarely saw the same provider. During one visit, Nurse Practitioner Ann Murtada greeted me with "Who do you belong to?" which set the tone for how impersonal the office feels. Additionally, during two stress tests with Dr. St. Pierre, nothing was explained. I was left without clarity during an already stressful time. To be fair, Nurse Practitioner Katie Bischoff, Nurse Practitioner McKenzie Rosette, and Dr. Mellum provided good care. However, my experiences with Nurse Practitioner Ann Murtada and Dr. St. Pierre were the opposite. On the administrative side, the office felt transactional. I paid around $1,500 and remained current, yet was consistently pressured for payment before being checked in. Requests for minimal flexibility were treated as a problem. I also raised concerns with the clinic supervisor and received no meaningful support. Overall, this office felt cold, disorganized, and lacking in communication and compassion. I regret choosing this provider for my pregnancy. If you are looking for supportive prenatal care, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Gyorfi M.D. was referred for endo adhesions and hormones for menopause because had a complete hysterectomy... had to wait 5 days for results for uti, yeast and BV. had to look up myself for results cause no one calls... doc is too new and because she didn't ever fill the hormone I was using for over 15 years would not fill... took another week to find out if she could fill a regular estrogen pill which I was told to find another doctor.... complete hysterectomy and can't get a hrt for menopause... get out of the gyno business. read more

I've been a patient of this practice since 2019 with my first born. I was seen by Dr. Perry who was very attentive to my needs throughout my first pregnancy. She is very personable and takes her time with each of her patients. The wait time during this experience thought was long than what I was used to but I think it's because Dr. Perry takes the time to see each of her patients. I also was followed by Teri Justice, APN when Dr Perry wasnt available and she was also knowledgeable and answered all questions and gave reassurance with concerns I had. Dr. St Pierre helped with my emergent L&D evaluation and was awesome so when Dr Perry advised she was on vacation, I asked Dr Perry if I could be admitted under Dr St Pierre for my induction who followed me for her shift and introduced me to Dr Allen who would take over until my daughter was born! Both providers had excellent bedside manner and I felt like I was in good hands without Dr Perry. It was bittersweet to see Dr. Perry for my follow up 6 week appointment as it felt like the end of a chapter since I was so used to seeing her so frequently during my pregnancy! For my follow up visit in 2021 I was seen by Katie Bischoff, APRN and she was very thorough as well! Fast forward 2022 I decided to switch my providers to Dr. Allen because she delivered my first born and felt comfortable with her. I was able to call and request for this change a few days later I received the approval of the switch. I've been followed by Dr. Allen and she is a breath of fresh air! Her father was my mother's OB and followed & delivered my brother, myself, and my little sister. This felt like a full circle of generations caring for the next in our community! When I was evaluated in October, I was greeted by the staff to check in and the wait time was not long at all. I didn't even have enough time to complete my paperwork! At the end of the appointment, they advised to pick up a patient packet on the way out as my follow up visit will require me to have it completed so it gave me more time to complete! I appreciate that as those forms are extensive! Dr Allen was also very personable and still had the same bedside manner of taking the time to discuss any concerns my husband or I had and made me feel comfortable for my plan of care moving forward. Her MA Chloe is also very sweet and knowledgeable with any questions we had as well. Yesterday, I had blood work completed at their lab inside the office and there were 2 techs assisted while I was there for 3 hours. I wasn't able to catch their names but both were very nice and welcoming. They drew my blood a few times throughout the duration of my stay and it was painless. Now it is the waiting game for those results! I highly recommend this practice if you have any Obgyn needs. I recommend all 5 providers I listed above! I love this practice! First off, most of the bad reviews come from receptionists. Which is bizarre because I've been into this practice about 7 times now, and every time the receptionists have been quick, efficient and very friendly. Whenever I have called, I have gotten the same quick service. I never have had to wait long for an appointment. If my appointment is at 10 am I am brought in by then if not earlier. It's also extremely convenient that they have a lab on sight. My doctor is Dr. Tippett, and let me tell you, this woman is amazing! I feel so lucky and grateful to have such a wonderful doctor during my first pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable, funny, nice, and never lets us leave with any questions or doubt. She never rushes us, never makes us feel awkward for asking 1000 questions. Makes jokes about all of the things that are uncomfortable which quickly eases my anxiety. Honestly, I am extremely bummed that chances are she will not deliver just due to getting whoever is on call but I have no doubt the other doctors are just as amazing. I hope to have Dr. Tippett for any future pregnancies. Also need to give a shout out to her medical assistant Rachel. We see rachel everytime we're in as well and she is great as well! What a dream team. Rachel always makes us feel confident and secure being at OBGYN associates. I will miss them both come august when our baby is born. I had a horrible experience at this clinic that genuinely left me traumatized. My doctor, Dr. Ziock treated me like a transaction rather than a patient. I was 18 at the time and had an appointment to get the Kyleena IUD. She told me that it wouldn't hurt that bad and that it feels like a big cramp, i have a really high pain tolerance so I believed her. She also told me that the lidocaine shot wouldn't offer relief, and would hurt worse than the actual insertion. During the procedure, I was not warned of what was going to happen or what she was doing, she just started poking me. I whaled in pain on the procedure table and even started crying. I told her that it hurt so bad and all she said was, "take a deep breath we're almost done." I didn't feel seen or heard by her whatsoever. Since i was moving out of state a week later she wanted to do the vaginal ultrasound to make sure it was placed. I stood up after my iud was placed and almost fainted... she then had me walk across the hallway in my paper gown which was made me very uncomfortable. Flash forward to now, I ended up having to make another gynecologist appointment in Salt Lake City where I live now. I told my new doctor that i wanted to get the Kyleena iud removed because of the negative side effects i was experiencing: weight gain, acne, fatigue, headaches, and extreme sugar cravings!! I'm not one to ever overreact or dramatize things, but I was genuinely traumatized to get my iud removed in exchange for copper one. I was extremely anxious all week leading up to my appointment because of the first one I had. My new doctor validated my previous experience that Dr. Ziock put me through, and sympathized with how i felt. My new doctor ordered me anxiety medication to take before my procedure and also told me that i was getting all of the pain meds, including the lidocaine (which i barely felt.) She turned the lights down low and also gave me a heating pad. She walked me through the whole procedure and made sure i was doing okay. She made my whole experience better, it was still uncomfortable and didn't feel great, but it made me realize how horribly I was treated at OBGYN Associates. I don't recommend Dr. Ziock or this doctors office, go somewhere else. Patients, and young girls new to reproductive health care deserve to be treated like patients, not like transactions. If i could rate this clinic and doctor 0 stars I would. read more

Attempted to make an appointment today as a "new patient." After waiting online for about 20 minutes for someone to even answer, I advise the person answering that I was a new patient looking for a gynecologist. I was asked several questions, birthdate, insurance, and then advised they were not accepting new patients. Not accepting new Medicare patients? Because the person was very friendly until she found out that I was over 65. As their listing online states they accept Medicare patients, that's the reason I called them in the first place. So it's just curious that after I gave her personal information and stated I was a new patient upfront, at three minutes into the conversation, she advises me they're not accepting new patients and I could call back in the spring. Dr. St Pierre is one of my favorite humans. And I don't even know her. I just know how she treats me as a patient, like she knows me and that she cares about me. When going through infertility issues, she was so very empathetic to my husband and I. She answered all questions we had, she ordered tests and ultrasounds to prepare me for the fertility doctor. All that was back at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. I sadly never had a baby but would have been lucky to have had her for prenatal care and labor and delivery. I stayed seeing her for my women's exams and saw her last week and even though it had been almost 2 years, she treated me like we had seen each other 2 months ago. I don't know how to explain it, She is just so sweet. She makes you comfortable during uncomfortable times. I have had two separate medical assistants of hers, both awesome. Debbie has done two ultrasounds on me and she is also caring and explains everything she is doing. Other Staff is professional and nice (check in/check out) The loss of star is as many other reviews have said is the wait times can be realllllllllly long. It's worth it for me to see my doc, but it can be a frustrating experience for sure. You just have to be a little more understanding I guess since they are probably overworked, and have add ons and emergencies to deal with. read more

I was diagnosed with a 7.8 right ovarian cyst in 06/2024. I was then transferred from another facility to Nothern Nevada Sierra Medical Center to consult with the OB on call provider that night. The OB provider was Dr. Working, and she came into my room very rudely, did not introduce herself and then proceeded to ask me why I was there that night when that is something I should have been asking her as the patient since I was transferred by ambulance. She then proceeded to say that the ovarian cyst I had was not dangerous and I did not need surgery, and I was going to be sent home. That night I was discharged from the hospital and went home, then the following day I was still in pain and was reseen in the ER by Dr. Allen and was informed that the Dr. Working wrote in her note that I was giving the choice/option to undergo surgery for the cyst, and I declined, which was not true, and I had a witness there that night in the room with me when I was seen by Dr. Working, and she did not say that at all. She had falsified her report. Dr. Allen had admitted me for an observation stay due to my concern for an ovary torsion. When I was discharged from my hospital stay, I called the director of OBGYN Assocaites, Jeff Snyder where Dr. Working is a provider for, and they are affiliated with Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center for OB/delivery care. I filed my complaint with Jeff, and he had stated he would bring it up to Dr. Workings attention and wanted to make sure that I had follow up care, which I told him yes, that I had an upcoming appointment at their clinic with a provider named Dr. Ricks, not once did he mention that there would be a conflict of interest in the future with me seeing other provider(s) at their clinic and was happy at the time that I was going to continue receiving care for my medical problem. I saw Dr. Ricks about 3-4 times in their clinic and I was doing some research on other providers in the same facility due to not having a patient connection with Dr. Ricks. Nothing against her as a provider, I think she is good but just was not the right fit for me. I did not have that repour with her and I was interested in seeing another provider named Dr. St. Pierre, which I have heard a lot of good feedback about her from friends and colleagues. Never have I heard about needing both provider's approval to request a transfer of care but when I called the doctor's office to request the change of providers apparently it is a thing where I need approvals from my current doctor, which was Dr. Ricks and the approval of Dr. St Pierre, which initially she had approved. I heard that it was common with a lot of patients requesting transfer of care and the only time it would be denied is if I was a difficult patient, which I never have been in their clinic. I followed up with the request and called the office to see how long it normally takes for the transfer process and I was informed that not only did both providers deny my request for transfer of care, but that Dr. Ricks dismissed me from the entire practice of OBGYN Associates, which was unfair. I then spoke to the office manager, Laura, to get more clarification on to why I was dismissed from the practice and she stated that I was seen as a "difficult" patient because of the complaint I filed on Dr. Working and with Dr. St. Pierre being the 4th provider that I have seen from their practice, that I was not satisfied as a patient there, which I then told her how she is using my 2 ER encounters against me as a patient in their clinic when those are 2 separate environments and patient's do not follow up with the providers from the ER. She then proceeded to say that the providers in that office are supporting Dr. Workings and have her back. So, I took it as their office was retaliating against me as a patient for speaking up about the provider falsifying a report about a conversation that never took place to begin with in the ER and I had informed Jeff Snyder that I had a witness with me present in the room at the time. He did not seem to care about my witness and continued to have his providers back and chose her word against mine. It is unfair because due to my insurance I am only contracted with a certain number of providers in Reno, which is a small town, and all of the providers that are contracted with my insurance are providers at OBGYN associates, which I am now dismissed from in their way of retaliating against me for speaking up as a patient. Mind you I work in the healthcare field, and you would not believe how many providers get away with this. It is now hard to find an attorney to assist me in this matter due to conflict of interest with their facility, Dr. Ricks, and Dr. Working. All I wanted was a second opinion from another provider from their office and I wanted to continue my care there and now I can't find a provider contracted with either my insurance or is affiliated with NNSM, which all of the providers at OBGYN are. read more

Really tough to write a review for this place. Mostly because I am a great fan of my doctor here (Dr Mellum), but the fact that the time before getting to see the doctor is so painful. Making an appointment is normal. yes, the doctors are busy, so the average wait time to get in seems to be about 2 months. The really bad part comes when you arrive for your appointment. there is a line to get to the check in counter. then several pages of forms to fill in (even if this is not your first visit, or even the beginning of the year for new insurance). Now you must wait again in line to turn those forms in. Then sit and wait even longer to be called back. Think you are done waiting??? think again,, called back, get your weight checked,.. now you get to sit and wait some more before getting assigned to a room. Alas you have made it to the patient room. you guessed it.. more waiting. The doctors here must be so overbooked, they are not able to keep up with the appointments they are scheduled for. For me a quick annual check up (that should take no more than 30 min) takes near 2 hours from arrival to departure. the overall feeling is that of being herded cattle. Not a good feeling. But to reiterate, I am happy with the service I receive from the Doctor and his nurses. Always happy to answer any questions I have, and friendly. just be prepared to wait..a lot.. read more

I would like to leave the absolute worst rating possible. I saw Dr. Peter Dekay for my prenatal care. He was rude and disrespectful and unprofessional. He obviously didn't like me and allowed that to effect me in my prenatal care. I put in for two transfer requests which were both denied (Dekay has to approve my transfer) well I left a bad review (on google under my name) regarding Dekay basically calling me fat and not from a medical stand point or professional way in rude and random ways and he was also very rough and aggressive with my body at prenatal check ups, leaving me in pain after my last Doppler check up. So apparently he saw my review and had me removed from the office not allowing me to schedule with anyone, which I know I have grounds for a discrimination law suit and I will be following up on that, because this is clear and obviously retaliation for me sharing my expirience and trying to save women from feeling how he made me feel when I should have just been excited to hear my baby. So on top of harassing me, and being unprofessional, he has now denied me prenatal care at all. And I'm a high risk pregnancy. I want everyone to know do NOT see Peter Dekay. And with them allowing him to remove me as a patient based off of a valid complaint do NOT go to obgyn associates at all. I'm beyond upset about this. And I know I'm not the only person who has complained about him. I've heard horror stories about him in labor and delivery. If you want to have a horror birth, Peter Dekay is your guy. Or if you just wanted to feel less then and degraded before being denied prenatal care then again, try Dekay out. UPDATE: I spoke to someone in charge who while was kind basically told me it's dekays word vs mine and because Dekay says he recalls the situation differently (which is a lie and I have a witness who was present to attest) that none of their providers are comfortable seeing me at the office. So I've been blacklisted for reporting him for his behavior and writing a report, and being made out to be a liar. Do not go here. It's crazy the office allows someone to harass a patient then have them blacklisted. Because I was told by a woman when I called the office I didn't catch her name, that it was dekays decision to have me blocked from receiving care at this office. I decided to update and post the original review on Google that got me blacklisted, I have since added to it. "This rating is for Dr. Dekay, all other office staff was amazing and helpful. I felt like Dr. Dekay was kinda rough, I got the feeling he didn't like me and therefore it affected his treatment of me. At my last appointment there he grabbed my fat very roughly and shoved it up towards my chest and said "hold this" in a disgusted manner, while he used the Doppler. I've always been heavier and I can honestly say this is the first time anyone has ever handled my body like that, or made me feel so uncomfortable at a baby check up. It wasn't necessary to be rough or even move my body in that manner, I can say that from experience from my previous pregnancies. I asked to switch doctors, and they told me dr dekay would have to approve the switch, I still have not been approved to get a new doctor in this office, and it's two weeks later, so I simply switched offices. You should not have to dread seeing your OBGYN, especially when you're pregnant and should just be excited to hear or see the baby. Everyone else I spoke with and talked to was very kind, even Dr. Dekay took time to ask if I had questions, I just personally was uncomfortable with him as a provider so I wouldn't recommend him personally." On top of the way he handled my body he also multiple times randomly mentioned I "didn't look pregnant yet due to my weight" so again I felt like he didn't like me for some reason (I'm not sure why that's just the vibe I got) and was fat shaming and unprofessional and disrespectful. And it's bogus that speaking out on that got me blacklisted. read more

I do not recommend this office to any nervous first time moms. I was on top of calling and trying to schedule well in advance, and told they wouldn't even schedule with me without receiving my test results from GYN office. I made sure those were sent over and followed up a week later, only to be told no one could review them for another week and a half, and they had no idea how long it would take for the doctor to actually see me after they were finally reviewed. They booked me a pity appointment with a nurse practitioner that was still weeks out. After being strung along for 4 weeks I decided to just cancel that appointment, after being booked immediately with another office when I called, as I think this is such an awful way to be treated as a new mom and patient. I can't speak to the quality of care for established patients, but definitely was not made to feel important or cared for at anytime during scheduling. read more

Honestly ... I give my OB Dr.St Pierre & her medical assistant Amber the full credit of my actual review and 5 star rating. As far as the actual practice itself.. eh. I guess you just have to have a lot of patience , leniency, and expect that you are not the only women in the world that is pregnant because ALOT of women are pregnant and this place is BUSY all the time. I feel as if no matter what time of the day you go, there is a ton of patients and families waiting to be seen and even if you get there early for your appointment , it may still be a wait and you will still be at your appointment for quite awhile because you are going to be waiting to be see while the OB is going from patient to patient. Which to some people may be a problem to them. For me , it really was not a problem , but if you are working and you know your job might not be as lenient with you, i'd highly suggest coordinating ahead of time your appointments because it could be a wait before you get to work. Other than that, it is hard to get a hold of your own OB , you do have to go through a step by step process to get in contact, and sometimes you just have to wait for a call back that can even be the next day or the last hour of their day. So just be prepared for that as well especially if you want an answer asap. Otherwise you're just going to have to go to Labor and Delivery. I'm not sure about the other providers here , but Dr.St Pierre and her team Amber & nurse practitioner Ann are great. Answers my questions almost every single time, very friendly, usually remembers who you are when you get there and because I was also dealing with a hard to work with High Risk OB , she reassured me as much as she can on her behalf as the doctor that is going to be delivering my baby. One thing i suggest as well is just double checking with your insurances on coverages. Expect paying for baby to be delivered by your doctor , ultrasounds, and all lab fees. All separate charges as well. read more

They don't keep their appointment times. You could be sitting in the waiting room for hours past your appointment time.

Agree with other reviews that had very unpleasant experience with this medical office. If you have good insurance, they try to get you to pay before each appointment saying it's for your deductible. If you agree to do that they get paid 3x more than your insurance would have owed them. The front desk staff is very hostile and actually threatened to cancel the day I came for my appointment and told them to go through my insurance. They don't seem to be a professional medical establishment but more like a group of well trained scammers. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for over 2.5 months with a surgeon at Ob-Gyn Associates. When I scheduled, they took all of my insurance, etc. I waited the LONG 2.5 months, badly needing surgery, and the very day before my appointment, an office member called to cancel me, saying that they no longer take "new patients" with Medicare. Are you kidding?!! You wait until THE DAY BEFORE to cancel me, when I could have spent all of that time waiting to get in with a different surgeon?!!! SHAME ON THEM!!! Moreover, I read 2 other reviews on Google Reviews, stating the EXACT same thing! I should have noticed beforehand that they have truly crappy reviews. Perhaps I dodged a bullet by not having surgery with them, though it's physical torture to have to wait another 2-3 months to get in with a different surgeon. It is so incredibly sad that companies will not even admit when they are in the wrong! BEWARE OF OB-GYN ASSOCIATES-- they may very well screw your over!!! read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Ziock-Price this week. Beautiful facility with a nice large waiting room and friendly staff. Dr. Ziock-Price is very warm, patient and knowledgeable. She answered all questions and concerns I had quickly and thoroughly. Her medical assistant was very kind and thoughtful as well. Although I had a small procedure done in the office, Dr. Ziock-Price assured I was comfortable and gave me many options in my care. Overall I felt I was in very capable and caring hands and am looking forward to continuing my care with this great team! 10/10 recommend. read more

I had an appointment today and I was stuck in traffic so I tried to call but only an answering service is working on Friday afternoon. They said I should go ahead to my appointment since there is a grace period. When I got there, the front desk said they canceled my appointment and they need to reschedule me. This was after waiting several months and now I will need to wait several more months meanwhile I have a health concern and can't get in. read more

I continue to come to this practice because of Dr Tippett, I always recommend her to anyone I come across looking for OBGYN. Dr Tipett is the best OBGYN out there and answers your question and concerns. She is very attention to detail and always wants what best for you and your health. At my previous ob, they had a very small yet efficient staff. For prenatal appointments, they always knew what week I was, what tests I needed and what future appointments to schedule me for. On top of that, they were very nice and considerate and never had to reschedule me for any reason. Time was never wasted and I was always in and out fast. At obgyn associates, I can say that it's the opposite. I'm a new patient and have already been rescheduled twice. The first time I made an appointment, I didn't know I was due for a ultrasound. I never had to think of that kind of thing at my other ob...So the lady scheduled me for a regular check up. I spent so much time in the waiting room (with two toddlers) only to find out that I needed to come back for an ultrasound asap. At my first appointment I got called in by a (very impatient) nurse that didn't even care that I had two toddlers that were trailing behind me. I felt rushed. After my appointment, no one was helpful in pointing out where to go to make appointments. They just kept pointing down the hall where I found so many stations. When I got to desk for scheduling, the lady informs me that there's a later availability that day for an ultrasound. Great, but then I get a call later on to find out that the tech went home sick. I haven't even rescheduled yet and found out that someone had set another appointment for me two days later. I received a text saying that I missed an appointment (I didn't receive a text confirming that I had that appointment). I call in to find out what's going on and the lady on the phone had a bad tone making feel like I was an idiot that I missed a very important appointment. Yadda yadda, "Either way, appointments are booked out far." Regardless of who's fault it was, they should be more professional and not belittle their patients. Ok, so I scheduled another appointment and come the day of the appointment, I receive a text saying I need to reschedule. I called in and the lady on the phone was nice at first but was not informative. I called back to ask about the original follow up date that was scheduled after the ultrasound that got cancelled and she talked to me like I was suppose to know that it had moved to the same day of my new appointment. There was no way of knowing that especially since no one told me. On the flipside, I really thought the girl that checked me in as a new patient, had me fill out paperwork and took a copy of my insurance card was really nice. Dr. Klaich was very nice at my first visit and my two friends that had him for an ob during their pregnancies were really happy with him. They also have a kids section filled with lots of books and some toys. It's too bad that their scheduling staff is not on the same page. I hope I don't have more bad experiences so I don't have to look for another doctor. read more

I called for an appt with Dr. Paul and they said she is not taking new patients until next spring 2024. I asked do you have a waiting list and they said no you are not established. I have been seeing Dr Garol for several years and I always feel like I get the best care. The front office staff are always so welcoming when I walk in. They give each patient prompt attention and make you feel like you're the most important. Ruby is the doctors medical assistant and she is so friendly. She is very knowledgeable and great at her job. Dr Garol always takes the time to explain everything to me and answers all my questions. He speaks to me in terms that I understand and is always willing to take the extra minute to make sure I understand. I'm so thankful for him and all of the staff at OBGYN Associates. read more

My experience with my first son was amazing. I set up like 6 appts at a time and most of those I was able to see my doctor. The receptionists, medical assistant and nurse practitioners were amazing. With my second pregnancy, this place gave me anxiety. The policy changed to only allowing a 30 day in advance to make appts, I seen my doctor once. Mind you she is amazing but she doesn't control office policy. Then they billed me for my deductible in advance, to not bill my insurance first. I received rude calls and too many emails to count. Getting calls from this office stressed me out. I spoke with the doctor about skipping an appt as I was going to many high risk pregnancy center appts the same month. Not only did the biller try to bully me to making an unnecessary appointment, so did the scheduler. My treatment became worse after me becoming angry with the rude biller. I am thankful my doctor is amazing and the high risk pregnancy center has been my savings grace. I have a great family, great son, great job and this establishment was my sole source of anxiety. I will never return to this establishment. read more

I have already made a call to the office manager regarding this issue, but it seems as though it's a chronic issue that I would like to share with the good people of Reno... You WILL wait in a seemingly empty waiting room for AT LEAST 30 minutes. I have yet to be seen for my appointments (usually about 10mins in length) on time. I typically have to wait 45min-1hour after my scheduled time to see the doctor (20-30 in the wait room and 20-30 in the appointment room). I'm not dissatisfied with my care, but their general disrespect for my time is quite unacceptable. read more

This rating is regarding Dr. Ziock and her nurse Samantha, and also Emma the phone receptionist at this clinic. I went in to get an iud and it is a very painful procedure, it feels like a knife is being stabbed on your insides and it lasts for about 30 seconds. I screamed in pain and was crying very hard and hyperventilating as well. Dr. Ziock and her nurse did not nurture me in any way while I was in pain, and one minute after the procedure I was left alone in the room before I had even sat up. I could have easily fainted when I tried to sit up since i was so dizzy, and no one was in there to help me. I could even hear the office laughing at me when Dr. Ziock left the room, and Ziock laughed very loudly as well. It was a horrible experience that I would not wish upon anyone. An obgyn doctor and her nurse should be nurturing and compassionate. No one cared that I was in pain and they even seem irritated by me. I have had a much better experience at planned parenthood in the past than I did here. When i received an iud in the past at planned parenthood they held my hand, helped me sit up, and stayed with me until I didn't feel dizzy anymore (I got the copper one and my body did not take that one well so I got it removed eventually). When Dr. Klaich was here he always made me feel taken care of, nurtured, and he was just a sweet man, I miss him. My iud has been accepted by my body so far so it is going well in that department. I know it doesn't always go well for everyone who gets one so I have been lucky. Emma the phone receptionist is very rude when you talk to her, especially if you ask any questions. She should not be working there based off my experience and the other bad reviews I have seen about her as well. I will be switching doctors over to renown women's health based off of a recommendation I got from my mother. I would definitely read reviews on here before you pick a doctor at this location or do not come here. read more

I am currently expecting my first child and was referred to OB Gyn Associates from my primary care physician. I have been seeing Dr. Tippet since March and she is phenomenal. Every appointment I have had, she has made my fiancé and I feel extremely comfortable-- she always answers all of our questions, is very informative when it comes to providing us with information regarding procedures, concerns, and anything that takes place during our appointments. Her medical assistant Breesa is equally amazing. Every time I go to an appointment I feel extremely welcomed by the friendly staff and at home. The office does not have a typical "doctors office" feel to it-- I usually enjoy and look forward to my appointments as the staff is always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Parking in the area can be tough if you are looking for street parking but there is a public parking garage on the backside of the building where you can park during your appointments so need not worry about fighting for a spot in the busy downtown of Reno. read more

I have been going to this office and seeing Dr. Sara Working since June 2018. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant and I knew that having myself as an established patient with an Ob/gyn was very important for the future. Here we are pregnant and attending biweekly appointments at this office and the entire process has been easy and anxiety free. The front desk is efficient and friendly when they greet you. There are always dozens of women in the office waiting to be seen, but it goes by fast since the office has many doctors working in it. If I have a question regarding my care Dr. Working's medical assistant gets back to you within the hour of which you call. Dr. Working is very sweet, professional and gives you plenty of time to ask all of your questions and does not make you feel rushed at all. I always feel weird not having a lot of questions! I am so happy and confident with the care that I receive at Obgyn and associates it is making this pregnancy a lot less stressful knowing I'm in good hands. read more

I can't speak about all the doctors here, only the one I saw who has helped to make my first pregnancy a most miserable experience. I am shuffled around from room to room by a number of random medical staff each visit. They ask if you have any questions but you better think fast because they already have one foot out the door at that point. God forbid there are any complications and you try and get a straight answer out of anyone. Three different people gave me their medical opinion and suddenly I get a surprise voicemail from the doctor telling me my baby was high risk. It would have been nice to have someone clearly explain to me what was going on before it got to that point. This office is too busy and big to effectively manage medical treatment and at the same time treat patients with some respect. I've been a patient there for years and now will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've been going here for about 5 years! Two happy pregnancies and babies later! I originally wanted a female dr but Dr.Garol was so awesome and same for Ruby his Medical Assistant. They know exactly who I am, ask about my kids, job etc. One time I showed up 2 hrs late for my appt thinking it was later than actually scheduled. I was told that if I wanted to be seen that day I would have to see a RN or reschedule with Dr. garol. I said RN was okay and apologized for my unintentional tardiness. And who shows up in my room? Ruby and Dr. Garol! Love love love them. Yes it's a busy office. But I'm not complaining about taking the rest of the day off. read more

Spent the better part of Monday in the Renown ER in severe pain. Was given a referral to see a doctor here within 2 days and but the office gave an appointment for 2 months out. Take prescription painkillers in the meantime? These guys are _PAID_ to take ER calls and care for patients. This is complete bullshit. read more
