Stock changes frequently so it's worth going often if you like this type of clothing. It's nothing fancy but if you're like me and tend to throw out/donate clothes at the end of the season then primark is a great place to shop. The layout is easy to navigate, clean and well maintained. Given the amount of clothing that requires putting away and folding this is no small feat, and something primark always impresses me with. Decent service and ideally located.

KLM lost our luggage for days…read moreand we'd been in the same clothes and were on day 3 of them and couldn't take it anymore, so we went to the mall and found this Primark, and they had everything we needed for a reasonable cost, unlike other stores. I even was able to get some dry shampoo and makeup there so I didn't feel like a walking zombie anymore. Super cute clothes for a reasonable price, and the checkout girl was very nice as well. Next time I'm in Scotland and if I need anything and am in the area, I'll be at Primark for sure.

Brenda Muir is quite a compact shop - but you'll still find a great selection of outfits. Like many of the other clothing shops along Hyndland Road, it is aimed at women of 30/40+, but that doesn't stop me from heading in and having a browse through some really chic tailored clothing. As well as the clothing, at Brenda Muir you'll also find a dazzling selection of costume jewellery and pashmina scarves of almost every colour. This is a great shop to visit if you're looking for some sophisticated workwear.

Upstairs, Wilkies hosts lingerie, bedwear and some designers. The clothing on this floor is more up market and more up to date than that of downstairs. A lot of the clothes up here struck me as being suitable for trendy dinner parties, and some items would certainly suit someone in the process of jazzing up their wardrobe. But with jackets coming in at a cool £150 each, it was hard to see past the price label. This store is undoubtedly handy for locals and is certainly good quality. The one on the half a head dummy looked beautiful, ok my description of the display may not be selling it to you but it was a really pretty and unusual looking piece of jewellery. This shop is probably more mother of the bride by looking at the outfits on display. They do have a good range of accessories, from fasinators, handbags, scarfs and jewellery. The ladies were very helpful and the lady who initially served me got the necklace from the shop window for me. It was a little more than I would have liked to have spent but it really was pretty and would go perfectly with my outfit. So next time you're in Hamilton ladies have a wee look. It does feel very intimate as it's a small sized shop but it's very brightly lit and you can see in through the window display, so I would window shop first before heading in. The window display looked great and the shop had a trendy vintage feel about, similar to the chic charity shops you'd find on Glasgow's Byres Road. Each time I walked past, I felt like the shop was teasing me with all it's second-hand vintage goodies. I could look but I couldn't touch... ....Until the shop opened and I could finally fulfill my thrifty desire. Wow, wow, wow! The place is huge and filled with lovely things. Velvet pencil skirt. Fringed flapper mini. Green safari jacket. Everything was lovely and beautiful and so many pieces caught my eye. Impressive considering the shop had only just opened! With more than a handful of garments, I popped to the changing room. The changing room is GIANT! - More like a dressing room with a little chair and quirky decorations. With such roomy changing facilities, you might as well make the most of them! Dance, skip, jump. Give yourself a personal fashion show! Why not?! You've certainly got the spacial capacity and you'll be looking dapper in your new clothes! Seriously though, you will not be struggling for space in there. Staff were really very friendly. The manager of the Byres Road CHAS was in for the afternoon and insisted on holding the changing room curtain closed for me, ensuring that there wasn't a gap whilst I changed! - There's nothing worse than that dreaded gap, making for the quickest change in the history of quick-changes. So, I was in no rush and had plenty of time to make my choices. (Don't worry, I overheard them say that they're getting some velcro to sort out the gap. Gap no more!) I left chuffed with an oversized houndstooth coat (£9.99!) and a pearl-style necklace. CHAS may be the newest charity shop in town but it's definitely my favourite so far! Step aside, charity shops of Stirling. - There's a new kid in town!
