We just recently bought a house with a pool that had not been maintained in a very long time. Called New Wave Dave to help. They came out to take a look at our pool and system. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after today's experience I feel obligated to share mine…read more My pool is less than three years old, yet I've spent much of the past two years dealing with a leaking pump and repeated gasket repairs. From almost the beginning, it seemed like there was always another issue to address. Today was the final straw. I learned that the pump Paradise Pools installed has been discontinued, replacement parts are no longer readily available, and I'm now facing approximately $2,500 to replace the entire unit instead of making what should have been a routine repair. When I called Paradise Pools to express my concerns, I felt completely dismissed. I wasn't looking for a free replacement--I wanted someone to acknowledge that a major component of a pool that's less than three years old shouldn't have a history of leaks and then become unrepairable because parts are no longer available. Looking back, it felt like nearly every aspect of the project was subcontracted. I never had the impression Paradise Pools was directly overseeing or standing behind the work. When problems arose, it seemed no one wanted to take responsibility. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointment after disappointment. Between the recurring leaks, the quality of the workmanship, the choice of equipment, and the lack of customer support when problems occurred, I cannot recommend Paradise Pools. A pool is a major investment, and customers deserve quality construction, quality equipment, and a builder who stands behind their work long after the final payment is made. That was not my experience.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH G&S EXTREME POOL N SPAS- THEY ARE A DISHONEST/UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!!…read more Please save your money, time and all the heartache and use a different pool builder. We started to build our pool in the beginning of September, 2017 and was given a finished date of 90 days; till this day it still not finished-3/6/18. He would not show up for months at a time and when we would call him he would not pick up or call back. After weeks of persistent phone calls (at least several calls A DAY) and text messages, he would FINALLY pick up and he would give us an excuse as to why he didn't come and tell us another time he would come. Of course, either he would not come as promised or on rare occasions he would come for a couple hours to basically do nothing and leave. If it was a beautiful day, they would give us 10+ excuses other than weather as to why they couldn't come (if they did pick up). If they got lucky and it rained that day or even that week, they would pull the weather card. We have been told over and over that our pool would be finished the following week over the last several months. Our pool is not even close to being finished and we almost paid him in full! He has even tried to get us to pay him even more (without showing up for months) saying that we owed more money than we did, thankfully we had the receipts to prove him wrong in which he still got angry and stormed off. We have been very patient with them until today. Today we called Gilbert (the owner) and spoke to him a professional but firm manner to express our frustration about the lack progress and instead doing the same - he CURSED us out and HUNG UP. As frustrated as we are we have never spoken to them in that manner. As of today, we are done with him. We would rather spend the extra money on a professional pool builder than wait around for him and never see it finished with this company. I am only letting you know this because I do not want you to experience the nightmare we have been experiencing with this company. If it is too good to be true - it probably is! Spend the extra money and go an honest and professional pool builder-that way at least you know your pool will be finished. ***Update: After this was posted as a review on their Facebook business page, we received a text from them saying that they requested for their Facebook page be deleted anyways so no one will be able to read our review along with all other bad reviews they have one there.
