I purchased a beautiful custom tiled coffee table, two chairs and loveseat from Oasis over 10 years ago and they are just as beautiful today. The cushions have only been hosed off occasionally and the colors have not faded a bit. Recently my mother had them make replacement cushions for her outdoor furniture (not purchased at Oasis) and unfortunately they did not turn out exactly as she'd expected....HOWEVER! When we brought them back, their immediate response was "You're absolutely right! These are not the cushions you ordered!" It was so refreshing to encounter a business who still believes "the customer is always right" and who prioritizes customer service. Their prices are quite competitive as well. My family has purchased hundreds of different teak sets from Paul throughout the years. My last experience with him was terrible, he is not a man of his word. He delivered a defected and flimsy set to me 2 years ago. The screws were barely in tact. I complained right away. Paul said he doesn't have any other sets, it's covid- his shipments have stopped. Understandable. He ended up replacing the defected set with a temporary loaner set. He said " until your new set arrives, this is yours to use and abuse. We will get you a completely new set asap." I have contacted them about my set several times and never heard back from paul. Finally, a few weeks ago, I got him on the phone. I mentioned it's been years later and I still have not received my set. He just shrugged it off and said to call his delivery guy and deal with him. Delivery guy tells me he is only instructed to deliver the frame! Not the cushions that was promised to come with the new set. Paul specifically said I'd get a brand new set. I have it written on my receipt and he does not care. I have argued back and forth to get what I paid for, and even after all these years of patiently waiting they still tried taking advantage. On another note, I asked how much they would charge me if I purchased the old loaner set I had for years and they offered it to me at full price! Just felt completely taken advantage of. They were a bit pricey we've been going there for over 11years now and they always have good new stuff only thing is all cash floor custom items are final sale. A while back around 2013 Oasis had some sales on these expensive vases handmade from Italy Lalique Murano glass crystal it was a one of the best things because I bought dressers there also that was a bit pricey. Every couple of years they get these clear , grey , or color XL vases some could be mistaken for designer pots they have....But the good news they do let you know who the mature factor is if need to be replaced antique custom items cushions the wood items and glass items.....Love the store gonna miss it I seen on the news they lost the whole store all inventory owner stated it would be a long time before they get back going again, they even lost my mom me and my daughters who's at Pepperdine college right up the street on PCH ,records of purchases and inventory in that fire So anyone with expensive purchases please contact the manufacturers so you can get the exact same item or something as equal of value... Cushions all ripped from regular use about 18 months after purchase, owner (from the moment I politely asked about getting them fixed) denied any issue, and said I'd have to pay to fix them. Spent $14k on furniture with this guy after he told me up-and-down how fantastic and indestructible the outdoor furniture cushions were ("the only thing that could harm the cushions is bird droppings"). About 18 months later, aside from the weathering the wood shows (also not good), several cushions are torn, for no good reason - just split over time. So, on the way to the beach, I stopped by the store, and told the owner. He said, "we can stitch them up. There will be a charge." I said: "You told me these things were the best, indestructible except for bird poop. They split for no reason, and now there's an additional charge?" Him: "They get brittle in the sun if you don't wash them. Did you wash them?" Me: "You didn't mention that you have to wash them regularly or they'll split like confetti, and in any case, I think my gardener does. Regardless, you just went on and on about how indestructible they were." Him: "Oh, so I told you that you never have to wash them? They get brittle in the sun!" Me: "You didn't mention a washing regimen as being necessary to keep them from splitting in pieces, and--in the phase where you were trying to sell me $14k in furniture, you sure as hell never said 'they get brittle in the sun.'" Him: I know what I told you. Me: Your cushions are low quality, and you are a dishonest person. And I am never shopping here again." That's the story. I didn't even ask what the charge would be to repair -- because it didn't matter. His presentation from the moment I mentioned trouble was defensive and dishonest; I wouldn't spend another dime with him, on principle. If you like the furniture there and you like the prices you see (with the large sticker price always marked down so it seems like a deal), go ahead. But the furniture turned out to be VERY low quality, and the owner turned out to be VERY deceptive. read more

Even though I can't afford a thing in there, it's still fun to walk around and check out all the color Mexican inspired furniture, fountains, talavera tiles, pottery and everything else they have jammed inside this place! It's like stepping into another country for a little while. It makes a great place to stop at while you are cruising down PCH with the top down dreaming of one day owning a bad ass house in Malibu and decorating it with everything from Oasis! Beautiful furnishings but the rudest people work there and they don't wear masks. Their gate was open at 8:45am this morning as we drove by and we saw their pumpkin patch sign and my daughter wanted to stop by and see the patch. So we pulled in and went inside and cheerfully asked about the pumpkin patch. The person behind the register snarled that the patch wasn't open yet and we said, "oh, okay" and then started looking at the furniture and artwork. Just as I was about to say how beautiful it was and send a picture to my husband so we could consider purchasing some of the patio furniture, he barked at us saying, "neither are we, you can go outside to the walkway and look at things there." He was so rude and abrupt that we were really taken aback. Don't go here. They're nasty, overpriced and don't follow Covid rules. read more

I went to Oasis Imports with the intention of replacing our outdoor couch cushions. They were dirty after years of not much care. I was prepared to spend $$$ to replace the cushions, however was blown away by Paul's honesty! He said the cushions were in great shape and just needed a good clean. He showed me how I could use bleach to lighten some of the stains that I thought I could never remove. (The cushions are white). We found Oasis Imports through a local resort that has their outdoor furniture and we were so surprised to get exactly what we wanted and at a price we couldn't believe! This is high end stuff. You can't expect to pay cheapo for this. Our outdoor sectional couch came with Sunbrella material and Paul took a lot of time showing us how to care for it and the teak wood the couch is made out of. We drove all the way up from Orange County to see the product and meet with Paul. I would recommend doing the same. He's very good at helping you see and experience all the options for fabric, design, etc. We were told furniture would be here on Friday and got a call on Wed before saying they would come on Thursday so a day early! Great communication and delivery guys set everything up and in perfect condition. Exceptional service from the day we first talked all the way through to the delivery! Thank you, Paul!
