Oasis Dentistry is so spot-on. When the dentist points out you need something done, please heed his advice. In doing so, you will save yourself a lot of trouble, stress, headache, and time off. Make your health your absolute top priority. That means your dental health. The dentist can identify an issue before it becomes a noticeable one. If he says you need work done, don't put it off. Get it done. Lupe and the dentist showed absolute grace when I was in misery. The dentist has the utmost integrity. He will save you from difficulties down the road. Lupe, too, spends time with you. They both do. Furthermore, they explain all really well. I have a great deal of respect for Oasis Dentistry. read more

Jacob is an outstanding dental hygienist. 5-star service!!! He was incredibly gentle throughout the entire cleaning, and the experience was completely comfortable with no pain at all. He is very detail-oriented and made sure my teeth felt exceptionally clean when he was done. Jacob is also friendly, attentive, and took the time to really listen to my concerns. I especially appreciated the helpful tips he gave me on how to better clean and care for my teeth at home. His professionalism and kind approach made this one of the best dental visits I've had! Thank you, Jacob! See you again in 6 months Dr. Le also checked on me today. He is the nicest dentist I've ever had. He is very approachable; he's not only a dentist but also a friend to all his patients. He is very professional and I know my teeth are in good hands! He's a foodie like me and my husband; the resto recommendations are spot on! Thank you, Dr. Le! read more

If You want just the Bottom Line ______ Skip to bottom Line. If You want to know what they did for me, keep reading... I have, in my 70+ years on this earth had many dentists. I have lived with Oral Pain for the last 25 years due to 45 years of smoking, and bad oral health habits. As a result I paid the price, many teeth which had issues were extracted (That decision was made by my prior dentists for insurance reasons, not Oral Health). As a result I would not smile and I was very self conscious about my appearance. My Wife told me about Oasis Dentistry and the people that work there and their compassion and patience. She said "Dr. Le will listen to you, and your proposed solution that for the last 15 years your Dentists would not listen and they said No". Talk to Dr Le and tell him your idea of the upper bridge and all those crazy thoughts from that crazy Engineering mind of yours, he will listen. So being a good husband, I did what I was told, I set up and appointment with Dr. Le. When I arrived they took X-Rays, measurements, cleaned my teeth of which there were only 6 teeth left in the uppers (I asked if I get a discount 'cause there are only teeth) they laughed. They didn't judge me they CARED about me. I explained my Engineering solution for the missing teeth, to create a bridge on my uppers to provide a stable foundation for biteing, eating and Oral care. Doctor Le said "Dentist's typically won't consider an upper bridge that large but I will review this with my oral surgeon, and we will work out the plan, if you will trust me". Bottom Line ________________ Oasis Dentistry know how to listen and find the right dental solution for YOU, just like they did for me, the perfect Bridge on my upper teeth which restored my smile and my confidence, and I am 'NO LONGER IN PAIN' when, I eat or drink cold or hot fluids. I did not want to have to get dentures this young, Oasis Dentistry is amazing, they no what old school customer service looks like and they live it... Thank You, Dr. Le and you staff for putting up with me and most of all Listening, God Bless you. read more

As someone that had a hard time going to dentists, I felt compelled to write this review. I've had nothing but a great experience with them all around. They've made it extremely comfortable and a lot easier for me to go to the dentist. They actually listen to you and treat you with care. Dr. Le is a great dentist that most importantly will take care of you and address your concerns to make it as worry free as possible. Jacob was top notch at cleaning my teeth and paid attention to sensitive areas with great care and it was the best experience I've had with teeth cleaning. I couldn't recommend them enough for dental care. From first contact with Jessica, you'll have nothing but a positive experience from start to finish. read more

Oasis Dentistry - I have a new home. Thank you Dr Le!! - General Dentistry Near Me - San Diego, California

Since Dr. Rhoades, it's all bad. The new dentist is a joke. His side gig is Invisalign. I've been to enough dentists to know a bad one. The girl that handles payments sounds like a recording and uses the phrase "our policy" in every sentence. That should be enough to scare you away. Don't go here. read more

Love Oasis Dentistry!!! The staff is always so nice, Dr. Le is awesome and I highly recommend this office for any dental needs

Have been going here for a long time, 10+ years w my family - you'd think they would treat you right when they drop the ball. Well i got a new job new insurance and they did not inform me that I wasn't covered... charged me $300 for the appointment out of pocket. When I asked about it the front office lady said she told me about it and had the paperwork to prove it.... umm yeah because anyone you or I know would choose to pay read more

Keep an eye on their billing practices!!! I was a patient here for a several years . It was a wonderful practice until the dentist sold it. Without a word they just started sending in the new dentist. I really liked the founding dentist so I requested to see him going forward . They skipped the exam part of one of my last cleaning and exams so I requested come back in for the exam as well as asking them to adjust my night guard. (Spent a fortune for the night guard btw) Amazingly, they sent me to the new dentist again. Then I received a $75 bill. I paid it but when I asked what it was all about, they explained it was for changing providers and said I should have asked not to switch. What? The receptionist was rude and did not credit the $75. Very shifty practice. Overall, It seems like they are just money grabbing and seeing what they can get away with collecting in addition to what the insurance will pay. I and my daughter have moved on but we are still waiting for our records. So far they sent me an email with one set of xrays from my file . Nothing for my daughter. No history or records. read more

Great dentist and good people. It was a little disturbing being told that I need to call back in a morning that I can come in and see if they have time for me. Especially when vomiting. I've always scheduled things have been a teacher for over 25 years and I'm very conscious of the importance of time management. Again, very sorry that I didn't know ahead that I was still going to be sick. Was hoping I would not be. I like all the people there a lot, it was one rude, phone call. Nobody wants or needs extra stress when they're sick. That's why the five stars. I would suggest that anybody who needs a dentist goes to you guys. read more

I had a tooth that cracked and lost its bonding. Split in half. I was referred by a friend to Dr. Rhoades. He was on leave so I took a chance with Dr. Le. I approached this appointment with trepidation having bad experiences in the past. Dr. Le was amazing. Confident with his tools and attention to detail. He layers the bonding so that the color is more natural and real. This takes additional labor. Other dentists just lay a blob of bonding on and call it a day. Plus, he uses some type of skinny metal thing that helps to create the shape. He has a lot of attention to detail. This dentist is very very good. Best dentist I have had. He takes pride in his work and is very skilled. read more

I've been going to Oasis Dentistry for over 10 years. This past year I had multiple procedures done to remove all of my old Mercury Amalgams, which is a pretty big undertaking. Dr Le and Lupe were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and compassionate and were very attentive to every last detail to make sure that I was comfortable and anxiety-free. Dr Le would sit and talk to me about my family and truly take the time to get to know me. Lupe provided a comfy blanket for me and always made me feel so cared about. They truly treat you like family here. It feels odd to say, but having these very invasive procedures was actually very pleasant and lovely. It completely gave me back the trust in dentists after being treated very roughly by my childhood dentist when she had placed all those archaic mercury fillings. My dental hygienist Josh is by far and away the best hygienist I have ever had. He is so gentle and careful. He never causes me pain and I always enjoy spending my hour with him. He is very skilled and knowledgable and constantly teaching me new things about taking care of my teeth. If you want to go to a dentist who truly cares about you, Oasis Dentistry is the place. I now live 35 minutes away, and continue to make the drive back to Mission Valley because I cant imagine having a better experience anywhere else. read more

Absolutely amazing practice!! I love Dr Rhoades and Dr Le. Been my dentist for almost 20 years and now they take care of my whole family.

Shout out to Josh for being such a thorough cleaner. I go to see him every six months for my cleaning cuz he is numero uno. My dentist is also funny. The office is clean and friendly Overall very good dentist office you should come here trust me bro ;-) read more

The dentist and dental technicians here are awesome but the office staff needs work. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because of the office staff and their policies. I was a patient here for 9 years and missed one appointment and was charged $45 for the first and only time I missed an appointment. No customer appreciation! Adios, time find a dental office that doesn't treat their customers like nothing more than numbers. If you read the reviews the common issue is that the front office needs better training in customer service and is the cause of most people leaving. Edit: The business owner responded with some fabricated information from my chart. Chris, long story short don't violate HIPAA trying to win an argument on the internet. read more

Out of all doctor visits, dentist ones are usually my least favorite. Something about those tools picking at your teeth and the fluoride makes me squeamish. I'd rather get a bazillion shots before I go to the dentist. And I put off scheduling my appointments until the last possible minute....until I went to Dr. Rhoades! I love this dentist. I love that the office is smaller and you don't feel like you are just another mouth without feelings. I also love that they don't try to sell you unnecessary things, which always makes me uncomfortable! No, I do not want $50 toothpaste and no, I do not want a mouth guard for funsies. Dr. Rhoades is fantastic and it is true that he remembers your name. I felt comfortable and at ease. Plus it doesn't hurt that they have TVs on the ceiling and in front of the chairs....if only all dentists had this when I was younger, I might not have hated dentists so much. I also like the hygienists--they really listed to your concerns. For instance, my last hygienist used a water tool on my gums that basically annihilated them and I couldn't eat solid foods for three weeks. I told my new hygienist about that, she listened (and verified that the technique my old dentist used was not necessary), and my gums were not swollen when I left! Just as it should be! So far, so good! Glad I made the switch to Dr. Rhoades! read more

I have been going here for several years now and the service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and professional. The place is well maintained. I love the television with the headsets. Scared of the dentist, bro? Me too. My fears are flying, dentists, and sharks in that order. So even setting foot into a dental clinic was something of a challenge. So much so that I've managed to avoid the dentist for the past five years. And while in the moment I felt like this was a solid decision a trip to Oasis Dental for a broken filling proved that I was wrong. So, after eight fillings and one crown in six weeks I have the following to report. 1) The team at Oasis Dental is 100% focused on your needs as a patient from the moment you make contact with them. 2) Everyone in this clinic from the front desk to the dentists performing your dental work are committed to making sure you're comfortable and are willing to work with you to make sure your visit is as pleasant as possible. 3) Dr. Jen is absolutely top notch. Not only is she a highly skilled dentist she also has people skills which seemed to be lacking from so many of the dentists I had as a child. She's communicative, attentive, and very attuned to the fact that while I may fear airplanes more, her profession comes in a close second. She worked with me throughout all of my procedures to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible and was kind, patient, and understood my needs as a patient. read more

We took our son for his first dental checkup, the office was clean and well laid out, the staff was all very friendly and Dr Jen made it really easy on our son for his first checkup. My wife and myself will be going back for our checkups next and look forward to more great experiences. read more

Oasis Dentistry - Trading my tiara in for a crown! Lol. - General Dentistry Near Me - San Diego, California

This is actually the first an only Yelp review I have ever written and that's because this place needs to be recognized! I went I for nothing but a check up and cleaning, but since we had extra time Dr. Jen removed two of my wisdom teeth for me. It was so painless and literally took less than 30 minutes for the whole process. I got a cleaning directly after and off I went on my way home. Having teeth pulled so painlessly and quick is unheard of. She called me later that afternoon to make sure I was doing okay and I went back to work the next morning!! I have to add that the tvs on the ceilings are amazing. I've never had an experience like this (anywhere) and I too can't wait for my next appointment. read more

I'm usually a person who dreads going to see the dentist. The exception to this is Dr Rhoades. Dr Rhoades is very caring and professional. This has a very calming effect. That and I'm watching tv (built into the ceilings) with headphones on when I'm being worked on. I can't tell if the drill is going or not. Part of feeling comfortable at the dentist is not feeling pain AND not feeling like I'm being sold up on something (like an extended warranty on a new car). With Dr Rhoades I feel like I'm working with a medical professional, not a high pressure sales person. Dr Rhoades is the best medical professional I've ever had. I get the feeling he's one of those people who would excel at anything they tried. His staff and the way the office is setup reflect this. read more

I love this place. Staffs are friendly and doesn't try and up sell you anything. The most important thing is their honesty! I had a bad experience at a previous dentistry where they lied to me and told me that I needed MANY things done and they said the same to my husband. Dr. Rhoades is an amazing Dr., honest, and tells you what needs to be done and doesn't try and rip you off. He also made me laugh and forget about the drilling that was going on in my mouth. lol This place is awesome, professional, honest, clean, and friendly staff. I'm glad I found them. read more

I wholeheartedly concur with the other reviewers - Dr. Rhoades, his staff, and his state of the art dental office all rate five stars! Having to switch from my normal dentist of 20 years because of insurance issues, I went to Dr. Rhoades because of several glowing recommendations. And what an extremely pleasant surprise! He is personable, caring, and professional. I have never been so comfortable in a dentist's chair, thanks to him, his gregarious staff, and as has been mentioned, the TV on the ceiling complete with a remote and headsets. Actually, I am due for a cleaning, and am looking forward to it. I was about to call and schedule an appointment, but I thought I'd write this first. Dr. Rhodes is the best! read more

One star for a really great office. (you can catch up you daytime television!) ...and for Dr. Rhodes being incredibly gentle and funny. Minus four stars for procedures done poorly several times. I had to go to a new dentist who completed the same procedure flawlessly and I've been quite satisfied ever since. I would a) never go back and b) not recommend. maybe certain things are perfectly ok to have done there... but not the more cosmetic procedures. Hope you have better luck than I did. read more

I was so nervous going to a new dentist and Dr. Rhoades put me at total ease! We chatted for a while (I'm sure he could tell I was nervous) then he reassured me it would be fine and he knows people don't look forward to seeing him. I put on my headphones and watched the TV on the ceiling. I had a cavity filled and really couldn't hear much of what was going on. I was in and out! I would highly recommend Dr. Rhodes! read more

I had a broken tooth that was very painful. Stacie, my hygienist, found it. (By the way the best hygienist ever!) Dr. Le told me I need a crown. I have always been afraid of major dental work but Dr. Le reassured me that he would listen to me and take care of it. The day came to have the old tooth grounded down. I arrived totally stressed out. But Dr. Le and his assistant Lupe did an outstanding job! I relaxed and they worked with me and it was done! They are a great team and if there is anyone out there that has the same phobias that I do, this is the place to go. Thank you to all of the staff there for taking care of me!
