I very rarely write reviews and when I do, it is usually because I had outstanding service…read more Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. The massage by Kristina was top knotch - I give her 5 stars, but..... First off, I called August 30, 2023 and they told me $69/month for the monthly membership. I signed up and had the massage 3 days later and it was awesome. When I was charged for the membership on August 30, 2023, the membership charge came up as $77. When I got a hold of them, (NOT EASY!) they told me the price went up Monday the 28th - (3 days BEFORE I called and was told $69). It still said $69 on the website. No offer to return the extra amount out of courtesy - no apology. Just "the girl told you the wrong price." Horrible customer service. Oh, they are nice - IF you can get a hold of them - but they don't do what they say they will. I ended up cancellling the membership 2 weeks later. I didn't like the customer service and I felt they didn't handle the situation properly. I didn't want to deal with a company like that as I foresaw more problems down the line. Since then, I have been charged 2 more times for a membership I had cancelled. I was charged September 30th - 2 weeks after I canceled it. After many attempts to get a hold of them, they finally returned the overcharges and said everything was cancelled - the payments and the membership. I believed them. But wait, there's more! I was charged AGAIN at the end of October after being told TWICE that it was cancelled! Now, I am furious! This is twice I was told it was cancelled and I got charged again. So, after trying to get a hold of them on the phone today with no success - (every choice you choose on the phone menu tells you to go to the website) - I went to the business in person. I explained that I was VERY angry and that I am not a bitch and hate confrontation, but this needs to be fixed TODAY! The girls were nice and apologetic and said that the previous girl (it has been a different person every time I talk to them) didn't do it right and that they have it fixed. They said they sent an email to the owner, Sue Gance, explaining the situation. I left feeling better and calmed down. Time will tell. If I get charged again in November, I will be taking legal action to get this settled once and for all! I hate confrontation and I always try to be nice - "until it's time not to be nice." (Patrick Swayze - Road House). This is the short version...they don't answer the phone, they don't return phone calls and they don't cancel memberships when you ask. It is unfortunate because I really liked my massage and the therapist. She was very nice and did a great job. Had they treated the financial part of it any differently, I would have continued my membership. I am not going to say don't go there. The massage was good. I had one previously in February as my BF got me a gift card. Shaun was really good, also. That is why I decided to get a membership. What I am going to say is be VERY vigilent on the finance end. Make sure that you get charged what they tell you it will be. I have seen other reviews with money issues and being told different prices than what you are charged. Hopefully the owner will get some quality office people in there that know what they are doing.

It was very obvious during the massage that Mari has an excellent knowledge of anatomy. I pulled a shoulder muscle (or something), bowhunting in late OCTOBER. But from now on whenever I have a nagging issue- from playing golf, doing yard work, or when my neck aches from driving- I'm gonna go see Mari. You should too.

This is the place if you are looking for a little relaxation away from home. I booked the…read moresalt/sauna/steam package for myself and made my first visit the The Spa on a Saturday morning. The girl at the front desk was very welcoming. She gave me a key and showed me to the ladies locker room. The locker room is small. Also, the lockers are right in front of the entrance, so it's not ideal if you're shy. People will come and go as you are getting undressed. They were also assigning the lockers in exact numerical order, so while you are trying to get undressed, there will be another patron just standing there waiting to be able to enter their locker which is right next to yours. It would be helpful if they would at least assign them more broadly, so the other patron might be at the opposite end of the row lockers. I will say though, the locker room was pretty clean. There were hot tea and cereal bars available as well as a selection of various toiletries. It would have been nice to have spa water available in there though. After spending time in the sauna and steam shower, something cold to drink would have been great. I returned to the front desk as instructed. I was given the option of which service I wanted to do first. I opted to start in the salt room, followed by sauna, and end with steam shower. The salt room was very relaxing. It's dimly lit and warm. There is soothing music playing. It was a nice way to start the day. The infrared sauna was also very nice. The sauna is located in a private room so when you book it you have it all to yourself. I didn't know there was a color therapy option on it though until the very end of the session but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. A pitcher of spa water was provided so I could hydrate during that part of the session. My one bit of constructive criticism, the floor of the sauna needs to be cleaned. It was very dusty and hairy. Next it was time for the steam shower. The front desk associate who I had been working with told me "All three knobs have to be on for it to work." Simple enough, or so I thought. I enter the steam shower, expecting just steam. There is a digital on/off switch which I hit. I see three knobs. There is no indicator of which is on or off though. So I turn them all and proceed to be blasted with cold water from every angle. I nearly hit the ceiling! I turned the knobs off as quickly as possible. The chamber began to fill with steam. Once that was figured out, it turned out to be a great experience. For $60, this was a great way to spend 3 hours. I left feeling invigorated. I am sure to return to The Spa at Traditions.
