Very disappointed. My wife and I came for dinner. While we were about 15 minutes early, we were…read morestill the first customers in the building and it took about 10 minutes for a server to ask us for drinks. I ordered the Classic Margaritas and my wife ordered a bottle of root beer. My Margarita was bland, slightly bitter and no resemblance to a classic margarita I've grown accustomed to. For my entree, I ordered the Short Rib manicotti. And, to be honest, I could not find a shred of short rib anywhere in the dish. The manicotti was stuffed with cheese and covered with a cherry Demi-glas and between the two ingredients, they overpowered the dish. I couldn't finish it. For desert, we shared a dish that consisted of layers of puff pastry with a cream cheese filling. The desert was delicious. Overall, the decor was interesting, albeit the seats were very low at a considerably small table. We have no reason to return.

Ambiance was great here, both at the bar and at the tables. Our server was sweet, gave us some…read moreintel on the changes to the menu and chef, and stopped by our table frequently to check in. We thought our drinks looked great but tasted just ok.. our favorite was probably the naked and famous (well-balanced unlike some of their citrus-forward drinks). For food I got the chicken and rice, and the tenders tasted like they'd been previously frozen, the sauce was very thin but decent and the cold rice was a good choice for it. My husband really liked his spicy udon noodles and the presentation was great. Might give them another shot with just drinks next time!

Our waitress was excellent and brought over a magician, Serge, to our table and he amazed us with top tier card tricks. I couldn't figure it out! The food was delicious. We started with the andouille sausage fritters. They were creamy with a crispy outer coating and just the right amount of spice. My husband ordered the chicken and I had the trout. Both dishes were balanced and expertly seasoned. My trout was perfectly cooked and tasted delectable. For dessert we split the tiramisu and it was a gargantuan portion! Come on the weekend for a more lively atmosphere. It's such an interesting space. The bathrooms are each differently decorated and play different music. So much to see and experience. Enjoy!

I finally got to check out what all the fuss is about at Silva - and now I'm obsessed!…read more First, the ambiance. Vivid and delightful with whimsy and joy abounding in every fun detail! The theming is great without being too over the top. Second, the service - our server at dinner was attentive, patient, thorough, kind, and very thoughtful in his recommendations and tips. He made the meal thoroughly enjoyable. Third, the food. The appetizers were incredible (highly recommend the deviled eggs) and the entrees were incredible! Paired with an amazing drink menu, you are in for a treat when dining here! Lastly, the bocce. I had never played bocce before, but that's not a problem - you see, they provide a kind instructor to teach your team how to play. And spoiler alert - it is possibly one of the most fun group games I have ever played! And there is full food and drink service here as well - so the gastric joys don't have to end just because you have a game going! This was an extremely joyous occasion and I'm grateful to have such an enjoyable venue available here in Grand Rapids!
