I recently tried posting a prepaid parcel here. I have done this many times before. I took it to another post office and posted it without problems. Since losing the original post office , the services provided at the COOP are not efficient. Largely due to ill trained staff I suspect. Not the fault of the staff as they have to multi task and do their best. I will avoid this for a post office in future and go to Bishops Cleeve where the staff are professional and very helpful.

We used to have a good professionally run sub post office in Winchcombe, but then it was moved into…read morethe Co-op where, although the staff do their best, they are obviously under- trained, have little space to work and have to serve both shop and post office customers with the inevitable confusion. The whole place needs a proper refit. When I worked for the Post Office in the 1970s both the management (which was usually time served) and the government still had a sense of civic pride largely absent today.
