They stock a good range of magazines and sweets too. I did once have a frustrating experience when I wanted to post a heavy parcel, around 12kg. Although the Royal Mail website told me that they did cover parcels of a much higher weight and were able to tell me how much it would cost to send, the staff at this Post Office didn't have a scale that would weigh anything over 10kg. They let me post it anyway but I got a bit of a lecture!

Rebranded as a Martins a few years ago they still sell pretty much the same type of things and as I've got older I now use the post office attached. The whole shop is a bit threadbare and could use some updating, but to be honest I don't come here for the decor I use this shop as the people that work here are so friendly and in the post office bit helpful too. As this the only post office locally within walking distance of Hucclecote, It can get very busy especially in the mornings. Parking is available outside and in the road opposite.

Access to the post office isn't that easy - the way into the car park is only big enough for one car and it's not easy to reverse back out onto the main road. They are really helpful though and tell you what postal insurance you need, and despite the fact that it is only a tiny post office, they are always happy to accept huge parcels! Very friendly staff - top marks to them!
