The 1 star is not deserverd Well what can I say, just taken…read moremy severly disabled son to post some items that needed proof of posting and was meet by the most miserable women. When my son asked for proof of posting she just took the items off him and shoved them in the bag behind the counter saying these are freepost . My son said yes I know but I still need proof of posting, she gave him the the look of death scibbled the post code on the returns card stamped it and put it on her counter were my son struggled to reach ( as he is in a wheelchair). She just turned her back and mumbled something to her colleague. What a rude bad mannered women. If you go in there you will probably know which one I mean. From now on we will go to Cavendish Post Office (which might be deemed a rough area), but with no question the staff are far more pleasent

This post office is located in the shaw village center within tesco supermarket . Close to shaw's…read morelocal pub ( the village inn pub), llyolds chemist and a kebab place. so convenient especially when items that are to be delivered like parcels, goods etc cannot be delivered to a local resident, most of the items instead of being returned to parcel force HQ or the main post office (which is quite a trek away for most shaw residents )are returned to this post office for the resident to make suitable arrangement for redelivery or pick up. Because this post office is quite small, it is limited to certain but not all postal services. Staff are very friendly and quite helpful. The post office normally closes at 5pm monday to friday and at 12 noon on saturday.

They have some good offers on like BOGOF etc. They have a large selection of gifts and this is really useful when Christmas comes around for all the Aunts. This shop has always been untidy and you tend to feel it is a bit like a jumble sale. The gifts are ok, but you have to be selective over what you buy. Some of it is real tat. The staff don't seem to care that much and I have the feeling especially on a busy Saturday that they would rather be anywhere else. If they smarted up the shops and introduced some quality to their items then they could possibly compete with Boots, other wise they are the poorer relative.

The store itself is very clean and tidy, I have never felt during any visit since when I first visited in 2010 that the place was like a 'jumble sale'. They have a fantastic wide selection of products. You can generally find everything that you are looking for. I am very pleased that they carry Superdrug's own line of make-up, all of which is vegan.
