Most people just shop here because it's a local store being Hebron is a farm town and most stores are in Salisbury (15-20 mins away) if I could give a negative rating this store takes the award for being one of the worse!!

I asked the lady about the goats outside and she said to not trust them because they will sing you a sad song everytime. Not that I didn't believe her, but they were calling us so I needed to see what was up. She was right, they sang all of the sad songs. Oh, if you decide to feed them, keep your eye on the big one cause he's a jerk, will assure you that he hasn't eaten in days and then will try to steal the food from others. If one of the little ones keeps moving, move with him because he knows the drill and knows the big one will steal all the food.

Inside this shabby convenience market on the north side of Salisbury is a fantastic soul food…read morerestaurant. When I travel around the country and around the world I try my hardest to find the food of the place. And for the past 15 years while in Salisbury to visit my father I've found it difficult to escape "family" chain restaurants or touristy Eastern Shore fake "authentic" seafood shacks. Until this visit when I was clued in on the soul food counter in the back of Friendly Food Store. A daily menu offering 6 or 7 southern delicacies, home cooked by the charming woman behind the counter. A choice of yummy sides. And all for exactly the price you'd expect to pay for quality homemade food. So far I've had the Goat Curry, Chicken & Slippery Dumplings, Beef Stew, Turkey Wings, and Chitterlings (and watched people swoon over the turkey neck bones). Oh, and rumor has it that they do a wicked good muskrat when they're in season. It is a take out place - they have tables and a TV, but it's like eating in a bus station - so get your delicious meal and take it to a park.

All other grocery stores are able to maintain, keep facilities clean AND ACCESSIBLE, but not ACME in Salisbury. The prices are the highest in the area, yet the facilities are the absolute worst on the entire Eastern Shore. Contratulations.
