This is significant because they said that all 7 fans were installed 1 day after I closed on my home, which I had not moved into as of that date. On top of that they stated incorrect information as evidence of their lie, such as I have a car charger...because we asked them for a quote before closing, and that when the builder had them replace a dishwasher that was part of the original build, that it also would have voided the warranty. Stay away from this company if you have options.

We made an appointment for Friday, 5 September between 11.00 and 1130. I got a message at 10:48 on the that day saying he was held up on a job involving a well for drinking water. I understand that drinking water is more important that irrigation and let him know that I understood. He said he would swing by later in the day but never showed and never called saying he would not be able to make it. He reached out that night at about 8:30 apologizing and we rescheduled for 10 September between 3:30 and 4:00. Because it was urgent to get a operable pump going, I reached out to M&D Pumps on Saturday morning and ended up speaking with a nice man named Marc. He was there within an hour and had a new pump installed and running within 2 hours after my call. He was also a very pleasant man who was very knowledgeable. On 10 September, Malcolm again did not show and again, he never called to let me know. I sent him a text expressing my disappointment and asked if everything was ok . . . no response. I reached out a day or two later and have not heard back from him. So . . . based on my experience, if you are looking for someone who may or may not show up to work on your irrigation system by all means - GNC Pumps and Irrigation is your company, give Malcolm a call. If you are looking for a company that can work on your pump and will show up in a timely manner then I strongly recommend calling Marc at M&D Well and Pump at 757-718-6149. I ended up doing the irrigation work myself but I have three neighbors that recommended Joe Mallack Irrigation at (757) 615-0868. I'm sure there are other great irrigation companies but I cannot recommend calling GNC.

The pump installation is shoddy workmanship, the wiring for the irrigation valves was terrible and they refused to honor their agreement to give us $100 for every customer we sent their way that spent $1k or more (we sent two, maybe three not sure how much they spent). They didn't return phone calls to us or those we referred them to. They arrived late or not at all on two or more occasions, then didn't even return to repair what had broken. I have had to re-do almost every bit of work they performed on my property, so please steer clear of them!

Importantly also, their auction content was honest for buyers, showing any cracks or damage if items had such. The website was slick, easy to navigate, w/audible "dings" during the auction when something was bid on, along w/showing the bid offers. As a seller, there were no hidden or peripheral fees, Coastal Downsizing took a fair and straightforward % of the sales. Within ~2 weeks post-auction, I received a check for my portion of the sales and an emailed inventory of my items, listing what sold and what didn't, incl. the winning bids Overall: EXCELLENT service!

When I got online RS Andrew's kept being the 1st search result. I have a wife and kids so this wasn't something I could fool around with. Luckily for me the wife and 2 of the 3 children were not home for the weekend. The teenager however was. She is a trooper so she wanted to stick it out with me. I call RS Andrew's. Very friendly person booked me. The tech comes out the next day. After searching my attic he & I realize the heating unit was above the garage. So he goes up there, and comes down to speak of his findings. He shows me pictures. This is the part I did not like. I feel like people who are specialist in a specific field sometimes try to take advantage of those with less knowledge about that subject. So he says it can be this which is $550, or it could be this which is $4000. I felt like he was really trying to gauge if I would be willing to pay the higher price by how he looked at me and the infliction in his voice. I immediately pulled out my phone to call a tech I know, but just happened to be out of town until the following week. My friend tells me "Neither of those issues should run you those prices even after parts and labor." The tech can hear this and says hold on let me check 1 more thing. He goes back up his ladder & comes back down and says "lucky for you it is the cheaper issue." That felt dishonest to me. I will say it may be unfair to try to gauge how the interaction felt from his end, but personally I am not a fan of people overcharging just solely from customers not being knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they have remained true to the same level of unprofessionalism I experienced before. When I scheduled the tune-up, I was specifically told that the technician would change the filters as part of the service. However, the technician, Nathan, left without completing that task. When I called afterward, the appointment representative actually told me that because I did not physically put the filters in the technician's hands, I would have to pay for him to return and install them. Seriously? I waited two hours before i was told this. The filters were sitting in plain view near the exchange. Nathan would have had to be Stevie Wonder to miss them. I have had HVAC systems serviced for years, and I have never been told that I must physically place filters into a technician's hands in order for them to be changed during a scheduled tune-up. What makes this even more frustrating is that earlier today I was told Nathan would return and complete the job at no additional cost. Now, I am being told something completely different. Interestingly, while Nathan apparently could not see the filters, he had no difficulty emphasizing how "paramount" it was that I spend approximately $8,000 to repair my older HVAC system. There was plenty of attention given to an $8,000 recommendation, but apparently not enough attention to complete the basic service I was told was included in my appointment. RS Andrews of Tidewater remains a disappointment. Thanks for the cheap tune-up, but after this experience, I will not be calling your company again. A low-priced service is no bargain when it comes with poor communication, inconsistent information, and an unfinished job

Freedom came out on short notice and absolutely did an amazing job. The price they charged is also very reasonable. I asked them for an initial service for the front and back but they also took care of all the weeds in the rock beds and stuff. I'll definitely keep them to continue doing my yard for years to come!

My neighbor hired Bishops to remove three trees from her property. I was very impressed with their…read morespeed and efficiency. Not only did they remove all three trees in under four hours, but they did a great job of cleaning up after the job. They even ground down the stumps and roots. I had used a different tree service just to do trimming in the past, and Bishops did a MUCH better job. My neighbor told me the quoted price and it was very reasonable. When I need tree work done on my property, I will definitely be calling Bishops.
