On Sunday morning of April 7, 2024 about 5:am a drunk driver crashed his car thru the condo of my…read moreneighbor, leaving my neighbor and her son homeless. The crash was so severe my condo was damaged also. Due to us sharing a common wall our side of the wall is broken our stair case leading to our up stairs damaged as well. Our middle low bearing wall has been damaged also. Our neighbors house has been condemned by the Fire Dept and the City of Virginia Beach. If she was home that night she would not be alive today, thank God she and her son were visiting family for the night. My husband and I have been told by the engineers that was sent by UPA when this event first happened, that our stairs and both walls have to be removed and replaced. The main issue now is that UPA has not given us a date to start repairs on both our and neighbors homes . The HOA are responsible for all structural damage to residents homes. Its now 4 months we have tried to talk to our UPA agent no response to our phone calls or messages. Were living in hazardous conditions. United Property Associates have dropped the ball. Kempsville Greens is a beautiful community I just wish our HOA showed some concern to their CONDO FEE PAYING RESIDENTS. FYI We where told by engineers no excess use of our stairs. We live in the Kempsville Greens HOA know who we are. Thank You for your Time

They didn't even try to contact us back. I guess I just figured they dodged a bullet. Keep it classy.

After word of mouth and radio stations advertisement, we were thrilled to try them out with our…read morehousing situation. We had a listing agent come to our home and explain the entire process. We were excited and confident with the decision, after his visit, that we proceeding with the process of filling out paperwork. Although, they are knowledgeable and their process are clear, their responsiveness is quite slow. My husband and I feel like we are having to "find" these people. As clients, we shouldn't have to constantly leave voice-mails and emails just to get someone to give us a call back or provide us with a status. And we are talking days and even a week in between any follow-up. The few contacts I've made with Jessica Scott, she was either too busy in meetings or not available to take our calls or provided me with incomplete answers. We are slowly losing our confidence in the team due to lack of response. We don't like to be kept waiting or in limbo, not knowing what's going on. To be quite frank, we've even questioned the integrity of the team because we have sent in a lot of personal information including tax forms, banks statements etc and having no response back, made us wonder what ARE they doing with our personal/confidential information. It's a scary place to be when you are solely relying on a team that is supposed to be your leading hand only to find out, you are all on your own. It saddens us a bit that we are at a loss for words.

Renosy by Renters Warehouse

I was terrified to rent my home. I had worked so hard and saved so much for a down payment on my…read moredream home as a single woman. Then I met my husband who was in the military and was swept away to a new state. I didn't want to sell my beloved home. So we talked about renting and heard advertisements for renters warehouse on the radio and decided to give it a shot. It was GREAT! So easy! The person that came by looked at the home, assessed it, took pictures, put it online and in less than a month I had tenants! If anything goes wrong with my property Renters Warehouse informs me right away of the issue, they give me the option to use my own vendor if I'd like (which I don't, I just use whomever they recommend and so far have had great success) and it is fixed in no later than a week! My HOA is constantly having me power wash the home area, or re-paint the door, or fix this and that and renters warehouse has it done, with pictures to show, in under two weeks! Way more than enough time to send the images off to the HOA before I get a second nastygram from them, haha. Renters warehouse is beyond reasonably priced for the peace of mind they give me in maintaining my property. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone renting in Virginia!!

Dealing with Renters Warehouse has been extremely frustrating. I recently had to renew my lease…read moreagreement, and of course they charged me a $200 "agreement fee" for what appears to be nothing more than changing the dates from last year's contract. In my opinion, this feels like the equivalent of strong-arm robbery. What makes this even more frustrating is that the previous property management company never charged fees like this. If the property owner decided to switch management companies, why should tenants suddenly be forced to absorb additional costs that never existed before? I did not choose to change property managers, yet I'm expected to pay extra simply because they took over. Charging tenants hundreds of dollars for minimal administrative changes feels excessive, unfair, and completely unnecessary. A lease renewal should not come with a costly fee when the agreement is essentially the same as the previous year with only updated dates and terms. I'll post a copy of all these the fees they charge and you not believe it!!! Renters Warehouse is nothing more than fast food property management. If you cross a piece of property and this company is managing it stay away from them!!
