THe service provided by this group is not good. They don't respond in a timely fashion nor do they take care of things at sometimes and if they do it takes months. The people are unfriendly and unprepared for meetings etc. I do not recommend this group at all read more

I would give less than one star if I could. The HOA manager selectively enforces rules on some people and not others. I wouldn't recommend any association with these people unless you want high school Drama and a bunch of Karens who have nothing to do but go by your home looking to report you for HOA infractions. Would absolutely not recommend. Moved in over 3 years ago and HOA payment was $225. Went up not long after we moved in to $250. Fees went up again to $255 and We had issue changing amounts in system for auto pay because payment systems changed (klik pay) Call management and they recommended cancelling with bank and starting another auto pay in amount of $255. Done. However, HOA keeps trying to take $255 AND $250 (old fee we were told to stop by bank) so now we're paying $255 but HOA keeps trying to take $250 payment too and charging us late fees and return check fees when they can't get double payments. Now threatening to take us to court for fees per letter we just received in the mail today. Mind you, we constantly call and message with little to no response most times. In addition to all this, they just went up again to $275. read more

I have had a great experience with Community group as I requested a resale packet to be emailed and then the closing was moved up a week so I paid to expedite it and explained that I needed it by Monday Nov. 6th at the latest although they had it scheduled for the Nov. 7th. but I wrote Cristina Griggs and she got it in for me by today. Having an HOA is a joke... Right? You have some neighbor who creeps around like a super secret spy. Lurking in the shadows. Fighting the good fight. Doing good for the community. Sending passive aggressive letters to other neighbors in regards to the height of their grass, stains on their driveways larger than a quarter, and of course the all powerful: mold. on. the. siding. There's always too much... always. I don't want to just sound like I'm complaining. So here's my suggestion for how the HOA should work: The president should come around and be known within the neighborhood. Maybe... I dunno... introduce yourself? And be like "Hey neighbor! It's me! The HOA President! How's it going. I live around the corner. I'm here to help out. with the community and make it a better place. Oh... and B-T-Dubs I noticed you have a couple holes in your window screens there. How about you stop being a slouch and get them repaired as soon as you can afford the time and expense." But the reality of it is an HOA is like "The Bobs" from Office Space "We always like to avoid confrontation, whenever possible. Problem solved from your end." It's also odd that our HOA pays a company to... manage... the HOA. But like, isn't that what the HOA board is supposed to do? Maybe I'm confused about the politics of it. I think I'm just confused in general why some complete stranger gets to send me letters in the mail telling me they will fine me if I don't power wash a few spores of mold off of the side of my house within 30 days. I have been trying for over two (2) months now to get this companies approval to replace (2) condo unit fences. Same fence, same color, same location. Filed all the necessary paperwork, left emails, messages and phone calls to the Community Manager for Knells Ridge Da'Nia Bennett . Still waiting, no returned calls! Then to add insult to injury, in the middle of this they remind me that I have a light out on one of my fences. No... really! A LIGHT. I told them I would take care of the light issue once I have a new fence so that I can attach it to something. Great community, terrible "paid" management! read more

I really like this company. HOA is cheap. Donna is extremely nice and responds so quickly! I forgot to make a payment and they sent letters to my old address. I let them know i moved and they removed ALL of the late payment fees. This company is extremely helpful and will work with you. Thanks Community Group!! read more

Community group is a horrible company! They don't return calls or emails. When I closed on my property in Riverwalk they took so long sending the condo package to the buyer I had to pay an expediting fee. They also would not send me a refund I was owed until my realtor pestered them. Now I've realized they are continuing to pull condo fee payments from my account even though I no longer own the property. They are totally incompetent! read more

Associa stands in solidarity with white supremacy. As someone currently living in one of their properties I would love to highlight an incident that occurred yesterday, June 15th, 2020. I, an entire colored adult was outside with my similarly colored 4 yr. old working on a geode experiment. Instructions guide you to place the geode inside of a sock, and strike with a hammer until two halves are displayed. While on our front porch, a neighbor walks by commenting quite disrespectfully about how we need to wait until she is upstairs to continue. And literally something about how "you people never listen or pay attention" a back and forth ensues in which this white woman calls me a "little girl" and asks if she needs to "call the police?" Given the current and quite long history of people who look like myself being killed by the police for the most mundane of things I was astounded by this threat. Today, much to my chagrin, an equally disrespectful email was sent from the association on behalf of this disgruntled white woman, as if the story she told was undeniably the truth. Let's especially focus on the signature of her account being "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." Where was any kindness present in her email? Where was any fairness showcased? I am hoping during this time of HIGHLIGHTED focus on racism and injustice this review is seen BY ALL. read more

I have live at one of the properties in South Norfolk for almost 4 years. Community Group is terrible. They were charging us outrageous prices for water knowing that the meter was broken. They do not fix anything around the property and the contact person is very nasty to work with. He think he is above God. We are paying outrageous condo fees and have nothing. We do not even have a parking space. The lighting is awful and it took them 6 years to clean the carpet in my building. My roof has leaked twice over the years and is still leaking today. They want us to cover our expense in our units from the leaking roof. Totally unsat and just unreal. People if you are renting or buying, please ask who is the property management. I would give no stars if I could. They were always horrible to deal with when we had our Condo. If you complain about something you all of a sudden get a notice to fix something on your property when other properties have the exact same issue. We are now waiting on a refund for fees taken out after our property was sold. I asked in April. They sent a check to an address in Texas. I have never been to Texas. I was told that the check was never cashed (obviously) and one would be reissued in no time. Over the course of about 22 days I have left voicemails and e-mails. I've received no answer. They can start paying interest now. This is a joke. Let's see if anyone answers this. read more

They do not return phone calls and sent me a certified letter demanding condo fees for property I do not own. They do not respond to my phone calls. read more
