We had nut roast with caramelised onion chutney on a mixed leaf and aubergine salad. Also a roast squash and sweet potato and goat's cheese and walnut salad. So imaginative and delicious. Also the vegan and homemade cakes are lovely. As the sun came out we took our coffee outside onto their patio terrace a nice sheltered warm spot. Pete and Jo, the vegetarian owners, are really friendly and we are looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. It is not often you get a true vegetarian restaraunt.

The staff behind the counter helped explain the meal sets and quickly dished out each of my selections. I got a curry with steamed veggies and orzo on the side. So delicious! The space itself is low key--no pretension and a good amount of seating when I was there around noon on a Friday. I'll definitely be back my next visit to Brighton.

I love the vegetarian scene in Brighton and this place is definitely a way to get tasty and healthy food. The vegan lasagna was really good, a very strong tomato and cheese flavor and soft cooked pasta. The carrot and sweet potato purée wasn't as sweet as I thought. The chickpea Greek salad was fine. I really loved the seed topping, I thought that it would've been better on another savory side but it was a nice crunch.

I've had hundreds of açaí bowls it's one of my favorite foods ever, and this place was just very underwhelming. My açaí bowl had zero fruit toppings, and felt like soup with rocks of ice in it. Super clumpy yet soupy just plain wrong. I left the whole thing. My husband ordered salmon toast and it has a little strip of salmon the size of half a pinky finger. I'm a chef myself and I know that minimal presentation is cute and key but this was just a sad toast. I love the menu and decor but please work on your execution of recipes

I had porridge with nuts and dried fruits on top, and it was exactly as it sounds. It was a huge portion, especially for the price/location, and it was so filling that I didn't even finish. My friend had waffles with a house-made hazelnut-chocolate spread. It might have been ok except that the waffles were not heated all the way through, so they were tough and chewy. The guy that made our order looked like he might have had a little too much fun the night before, so that might have been the issue, but he did put the waffles through the toaster, so it might also be a hardware issue. Whatever it was, my friend did her best but eventually gave up on the unappetizing waffles. The espressos were good, though.

(How one can be Grumpy McGloom at Borough Market, the foodie market of joy and glee, is just beyond me, but whatevs. Their loss of free dollops.) So I told them that I was smiling because I was exceptionally excited to try all of their vegan goodness, beany gluttony and lacto-veggie lurv that I had read so many wonderful Yelp reviews of. They then told me they knew all about Yelp and religiously read their reviews. Which made me smile even more. Thus proving my point that Yelp is the circle of life, ultimately.

The food is decent - I always seem to get something disappointing, but it's moderately good. It feels like it's getting more expensive though, as my husband and I spent £12 and 15 (respectively) the other night, and it wasn't exactly piled high (I was still slightly hungry afterwards), and that was without drinks, bread, or dessert. They also have changed dinner drinks ordering to where they give you a plastic card as your tab. You weigh your plates at the till as normal, but instead of ordering drinks there, you have to do so at your table. (They won't even let you order at the till - they instruct you to go back and order from the table.) It's needlessly complicated for something that should be a simple concept.

Finding Tibits was exciting since they had a huge selection of items we could both eat and the food was delicious! I was so thrilled to have so many options that I filled two plates and finished them both! My husband and I returned the following night for more! If you have food allergies you will be excited at the spread at this restaurant. If you don't have food allergies or restrictions, you will be surprised at the amazing flavors the restaurant has evoked from the food! My biggest revelation here was the "egg" salad. I have an egg allergy and haven't touched egg in about 10 years. Egg salad is one of those things that I really miss and Tibits nailed the flavor and texture. They used a spice I hadn't heard of prior (Kala Namak) to get the sulfurous flavor of the egg and it was spot on!
