And from what I can tell as a third party observer, Oaksores Realty has a pretty crummy system for renters. They are SO STRICT! Last year there was the whole air conditioner fiasco during the June heatwave. This year, we had to fight a $100 fine for having more than 2 cars in the driveway. Each person's name, license plates, arrival and departure dates of every single person, must be documented ahead of time, and all persons must check in at the gate. ONLY 2 cars is allowed at each home. Overflow parking, which was used by our family, is 3 miles away from our rental home, and there is a $10 charge per day. Some gate employees had an attitude. One was heard to say: "I hate freakin" rentals ! (Excuse Me !!!!). Also why is the check in log NOT IN A COMPUTER SYSTEM? Employees had to flip through pages to find needed information, time consuming for them, and people checking in. Please review and improve your methods for your rental homes ! Make sure you bring ALL your groceries in, since no real store is close by. Rental home required us to bring: sheets, Bath and beach towels, soaps, shampoos, toilet paper, paper towels. Closest town to get decent groceries is Paso Robles - 45 minutes away. Because of all these inconveniences, our family will not go back for a vacation rental home there.
