Bad experiences with not one but two agents from Paso ReMax. First time we used them to buy and…read morethe agent treated us poorly because we weren't super wealthy buyers & wanted to stick to a spending limit. We finally found a starter house but as soon as we closed Escrow, BOOM the agent wouldn't return our calls & we had to contact the broker to resolve about 3 major issues w/the place. Then shame on us for giving Parkside ReMax another shot down the road when we sold a house. We used a different agent but again, because it wasn't a super expensive property the agent put out minimal effort and since the market was good our house basically sold itself. We paid thousands in commission cash (agent wouldn't negotiate and we were foolish to not shop around more) and we got very, very little service in return. No more Parkside ReMax for us. Ever.

One of the worst financial mistakes I've ever made was agreeing to work with Jamie Kelton at…read moreParkside Real Estate. Because of her incompetence, she drafted a terrible contract for the sale of my home with buyers who weren't qualified to buy, and I took the home off the market for 4 months during prime selling season. The deal was contingent on the buyers selling their house, but within days after moving into my home they breached the contract by taking their home off the market. I was extremely concerned, but Jamie dismissed my inquiries and tried to convince me that everything was normal. After 3 months when it was clear Jamie's so-called "buyers" weren't going to buy my home, we had to get legal help to move them out. Now I'm stuck paying the mortgage on the house that hasn't sold plus rent on the place I moved into. I spent thousands of dollars cleaning and restoring my home to salable condition, and have to pay the multiple utility bills her buyers skipped out on. Because of Jamie, I've suffered many sleepless nights worrying about how to make ends meet. I've had lawyers and real estate professionals review the documents that Jamie created, and they were aghast at how badly her deal was structured. And when her buyers finally moved out of my home, she left them and me hanging high and dry by failing to show up for the final walkthrough. Normally during a walkthrough, the real estate agent is supposed to show up with a check list for the departing tenants to sign agreeing to fix or pay for listed damages. Jamie was nowhere to be found. I also tried contacting Jamie and her firm to work things out directly, but they refused to speak with me or accept any responsibility. Instead of dealing with a customer service problem like adults, they immediately had multiple lawyers contact me and my husband with thinly veiled threats. There's nothing left for me to do but tell my story on the Internet, because they won't listen. If you value your wallet and your peace of mind, don't ever work with Parkside or Jamie Kelton.

Robert is the ultimate professional and excels at communication. No question went unanswered (and we had many). Our conversations took place in person, over the phone, as well as through email and text. The method of communication was always based on what was most convenient for us. Robert is reliable, respectful, and consistently goes above and beyond for his clients. His attention to detail--while still keeping an eye on the big picture--is a rare quality you'll be lucky to find elsewhere. Robert truly embodies a trifecta: knowledge, professionalism, and an exceptional eye for detail.

He came to our home and spent a couple of hours with us, listening to our story and understanding our vision for a new home. His team of professionals who prepared our home for sale were flawless in their approach, professionalism, and efficiency. Robert personally came to finalize the staging and even planted flowers in planters himself. Our home was brought to show-ready quality in just a few days, and despite a slowdown in home sales, it sold in less than two weeks. Robert handled all inspections, negotiations, and communications with the buyer and their agent seamlessly. During our transition to a new home, he was patient and kind, even taking the time to ask our teenage daughter what she was looking for in a home. We ultimately decided on a new build rather than an established home, and Robert worked directly with the builder throughout the process. He was pivotal in ensuring we received everything promised. My wife and I cannot recommend Robert Sousa highly enough. His vast knowledge of the real estate process, combined with his exceptional team of professionals, truly makes the home selling and buying experience enjoyable.

We tried them as a short term property manager for a Lake Home in Hartwell. We were new STR owners…read moreand therefore had lots of questions. I really enjoyed our contact- but the owner was the issue. She was very rude to me in several occasions. She also lied outright when we had questions on pricing. We had set minimums and were told that we could adjust prices on their platform as they didn't track Clemson game weekends. I spent hours setting minimums for those weekends. Then we received several extremely low bookings for key weekends ( George Strait and 4th of July; $150 a night for the peak summer week in a home that sleeps 8). She had sent me videos on how the software worked to adjust prices . She the told me after the extremely low bookings ( prices well below our minimum)that price tool she literally sent me videos price adjustment that she "NEVER told me it worked for owners...???. So lies... ! The staff was friendly and very responsive, it's the owner. We felt like they are not geared to having lake homes as they are based in Athens. The other issue was we paid the top tier premium fee. That was supposed to include monthly inspections AC filter changes, batteries , light bulbs and such charged. In 6 months that never happened 1 time a man came and was in and out in a few minutes and didn't change the filters. All the spares were still in my closet. They also said that premium included extra insurance. When we had an issue with a guest damaging an item we got so much push back... it was $100 item and we were the told ( by the owner) we should've not had a quality appliance. After several requests they finally replaced the item. I was told the guest insurance they get charged wouldn't be applied again for damaged item. This was another concern because part her sales pitch was that they have guests pay premium so that small $ things under $1200 ( as I was premium level ) were covered. She didn't want to honor this. I think guests had ok experience. It was a struggle to get reviews. From an STR owner standpoint I would not recommend.

They are awful. Do not respond to inquiries or if they do it is a form response at best. Even if…read morethe property is not available it would be nice to get some response.
