would give 0 if I could but this company is garbage! I had boxes outside and they took the boxes and no trash! When my husband called they said well, u pay for 6 bags of trash and when I say boxes, I mean empty cat litter boxes and a Cpl broken down ones since my MIL moved in but they counted those as my bags of trash! My MIL just moved in and we had more than usual, but any other time it was always billed if it was considered "bulk" but they literally said my kids 3 drawer plastic thing was a dresser. I wouldn't rate this company a 1. Unprofessional and rude! My father fell ill and had to be hospitalized and in July of 2022 he moved in with a relative to be cared for. We were selling his home and he called and paid his account through January 2023 (so 6 months of advanced payments) he explained he was selling, and he would no longer need service after January. As of January, they stated billing him again along with past due amounts on increased rates and refused to help when I called to explain THEIR error. He had not lived in that house for 8 months and it had sold in December. They pretty much told me my father never called and I was a liar, she said people make up stories all the time!! Unless I could prove to her that the call was made we had to pay all the back fees, they hadn't picked up trash at this house in 8 months! This is beyond taking advantage. read more

I have had nothing but great service from Oak Hill Garbage, prompt, clean, and professional service! 10 out of 10!!!

I have used them on and off for years depending on where I live at. They need to get this the times. You CANNOT pay your bill online or over the phone. They can't take debit cards only money orders, checks or cash which you have to drive out of the city to take to their office. Now if you don't drive due to disability like myself or have a car you have to mail your payments. I have online bill pay where chase mails a check. Of course they say it takes 2 weeks for them to receive it meaning they will not pick up your trash for at least one week. Meaning vermin or animals will get it it. The final straw came when they said they didn't receive my monthly payment on time one month and didn't till2nd of following month. I called and spoke to them and told them I had already mailed out my payment for that month as well even tho they don't cut u off till the 10th well they said all was well until the next day no trash service again! We haven't received your pay for THIS MONTH. I'm like if their was a issue then why wasn't I told yesterday! Nope that would have been too easy and a week later they still acting like they haven't received the payment and call on Monday. They know I'm disabled and I can't drive their Monday and they won't let me pay over the phone either and they are flat out rude! I'm trying to pay my bill and have and they are like it could take 2 weeks after paying us for us to credit your account! We need more competition in Beckley! I would go to Beckley garbage but they have 40 of my Money and I can't afford too till august to transfer then bye bye guys! Just avoid them! read more

After paying up to two months in advance on my bill, the person on the phone told me they "made the decision" to not pick up my garbage for the week with absolutely zero reasoning. I asked kindly if they would please consider stopping by sooner to pick up the trash that was inevitably going to be raided by stray animals otherwise, but they said no. This isn't the first time my trash has been left just because they didn't feel like picking it up or forgot. At this point, I really don't know what I have been paying them for but I am switching companies now. read more

I have just started with This company and I have found they are very friendly and they go out of there way to make sure your trash is picked up, and if there is a issue they are right on top of it to get the issue fixed!! And they will inform you of what is going on! read more

Horrible place they have left my parents garbage multiple time for no reason but can pick up the neighbors not 2 feet away that dont even use trash cans and my parents are always paid up an extra month or more and can't get what they pay for and the supervisor is rude on tje phone and says someone will come get it Monday the regular day so its suppose to sit here for another week because someone didnt do their jobs I think not !!!! read more

Horrible garbage pickup service. Will not show up sometimes, leave some garbage that there is no reason for not picking up, dump your trash all over the ground, and toss your trash cans all over the place like they are trying to break them! read more
