Today he replaced my water bib/faucet as it was leaking freezing into a waterfall outside my house. Last winter he came out when it was -40 and my furnace stopped working even though it was late at night! I've referred loads of family and friends to Todd (-& company) and everyone is always thrilled. This past summer he saved my friend $8k+ when another company had said they needed to replace their AC (that wasn't working) for their 4000 sq foot bungalow (yikes)! Sunday morning at 10:15 am called Todd Quartermain of Ace Sewer & Drain. Left callback on his voice mail. Todd called back within 10 minutes. He was at another job site. He showed up within an hour as he promised. Spent an hour and 30 minutes at my place and successfully unplugged my sewer line that was blocked about 70 feet out ( near the city main curb side hookup). The plumber we dealt with for many years seems to be under new management because they wouldn't install something not purchased at their shop. They won't get any more of my business as well as all the plumbers who won't do a small job like mine. I found Adrian through Yelp and he showed up the next day at the promised time. (How long has it been since that happened to you?) He also honoured his quote even though it took more time than he estimated plus he gave us a senior's discount (YAY!!!). He takes VISA, a service that sometimes small businesses skip.The sink was left squeaky clean. When I called to set up a time for a plumber to come it was quick and easy. The lady (Chelsea I think her name was) was really helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Travis (plumber) called ahead to give me a timeline as to when I can expect him (which I always prefer). He was within the timeframe I originally requested. He was professional and explained everything to me that he'd be doing. He had to run out to grab a couple things and explained the reasoning. Their company policy is to wear masks and I appreciated that. He was also very friendly and clean. No mess left behind at all. He installed my new sink and vanity as well as replaced my old shut off valves. I was very happy and impressed with the quality of work. I didn't expect him to secure the vanity or to silicone it either and he did. Very pleased with that. The price was pretty close to what I was quoted and I have peace of mind knowing a professional, ticketed plumber did the work and did it right! By using a few different machines, he managed to remove an outrageous amount of hair. Gross! On top of that, they left the shower cleaner than it was when they started. Much appreciated. Tip for Homeowners: to avoid nasty drain clogs, be sure your shower has a drain hair catcher, not just the usual drain cover.

Up early, he began calling.... Starting with the most recent contacts . Out of desperation, one call to Worry Free was all it took. Talked to a real live person, who accepted the job. Follow up call received from repairman Dan confirming he would be out between noon and 2 pm. He kept his word. He was efficient and knowledgeable.
